Krysta and Ellie arrived at the top pf the stairs just in time to see Annie walk into the Ballroom with Max. "Blimey, Max really is going with Annie." exclaimed Krys. She'd never liked Max much. She didn't say any more beause just then her gaze fell on Sebastian. He wasn't even wearing his mask. Her face instantly cracked into a smile. Oh Ellie he looks so handsome." she gasped. He really did. Sebastian was a rough around the edges good looking, but it looked like he scrubbed up incredibly well. A freak wave of panic washed over her. "Do I look alright, Ellie? I won't shame him will I?" she asked, suddenly bothered about her appearance for the first time in her life. Ellie stood next to Krysta, looking across the entrance hall at everyone gathered, eager to find their dates and go inside. She looked around but couldn't find Andrew anywhere. She tore her eyes from the crowd and looked at Krysta again. "You look amazing, you definatley won't shame him, he'll be drooling over you all evening." She said smiling at her best friend. She looked back at the crowd with a slight frown. "I don't see Andrew, do you?" |

Andrew walked into the Entrance Hall through the main entrance after having gone and bought a flower. He glanced around the Entrance Hall and found Ellie her back to him. With a smile he walked up quietly behind her and cleared his throat. "Excuse me I'm looking for my date. Have you seen her?"

"I dont see him anywhere, no." Krys replied to Ellie's question. She jumped out of her skin when Andrew spoke behind them. She turned and grinned at him.
"Mr McDougal this is Eatser not Halloween. You're supposed to woo your date, not terrify her." she scalded him affectionately. "You look very handsome, sir." she complimented him. "I shall leave you with you date and go to join mine. Now look after her, don't drink any alcohol and have her home by midnight." she instructed, kissing him on the cheek and giving Ellie an affetionate hug. "I'll see you both in there." she said with a last smile as she moved towards he stairs.
Krys took a deep breath, watching Sebastian standing nervously by himself now that the other boys had gone inside. She descended the stairs carefully and walked smoothly over to him.
"Good evening, sir." she said playfully. "Sorry I'm late." she aplogised. "Hope I'm worth the wait." she said uncertainly but hopfully. She ran an apprasing eye over him and smiled sincerely. "You look amazing." she told him, really meaning it. She removed her mask so she could reach up and kiss him softly on those delicious lips and then covered her face again, her playful smile returning.

Ellie continued to search the crowd, she was starting to think that she had been stood up when she heard a cough coming out of nowhere behind her. She jumped a little and turned around as she heard Andrews voice, a big smile playing on her lips. "I'm not sure, what does she look like?" She asked, playing along with his little game. Damn, he's so hot tonight! She thought to herself and started wondering how she had gotten so lucky.
Ellie looked at Krysta and returned the hug while laughing. "You're sounding like my mother now Krysta." She said and watched as her best friend disappeared into the crowd. She turned back to Andrew, the smile never leaving her face. "Hmm, your date better becareful, she might just lose you tonight to someone else." She said as she put her arms around his neck.

He held out the rose to her and smiled, "Would you care to come with me instead?" He smiled and kissed her briefly, "I think I'm the one who better be careful love. You look...gorgeous." He glanced down at her dress and smiled, "Yep, definitely have to be careful." |

Ellie smiled when Andrew gave her the rose and brought it up to smell the lovely scent. "Thank you." She said not sure what else she could say about the gesture. She looked back up at Andrew, love clearly showing in her eyes. "I would love to, my date hasn't shown up either, I think I was stood up." She said playfully pouting. She kissed him back, loving the taste kiss, the feel of his lips on hers. "You're just saying that because I'm carrying your child." She said softly as she removed her arms from around his neck and took hold of his hands. "We should probably get in there before people start thinking we ran off and did something else." She said and leaned in to his ear. "Though that sounds even more fun than the ball."

Andrew shook his head, "No, that's not why. I really think you do. Though the extra radiance about you probably does add to the fact" He smiled and gripped her hands at her whisper he looked at her and groaned, "As much as I would love that, if we don't make at least an appearance some people will suspect something." He leaned down and kissed her neck with a whisper, "Maybe later." He leaned up and slipped her hand under his arm, "Shall we?"

Ellie continued to smile as he spoke and couldn't help but smile as he said maybe later they could have their own fun. "Definately have to hold that to you." She laughed for some strange reason as he put her hand under his arm, and she kept it there, wanting to touch him as much as possible. "We shall." She said as they started walking towards the ball room.

Sebastian didn't have words to describe his thoughts. Krys looked stunning. The nerves disappeared as quickly as they'd come and he stopped trying to force himself to close his mouth instead of gaping like an idiot. The mask seemed pitifully boring compared to her own real face. Her eyes bright and her skin all but lighting up the room. Sebastian was truly going to have to keep an eye on her tonight. He smirked cautiously at the smile on her lips and wrapped his arm around her waist. She fitted their perfectly....and it was unlikely he would let her leave that spot. "Shall we Madame?" The look on Sebastian's face said it all. He most defnitely approved. She smiled broadly, blushing a tiny bit. She reached out and ran her fingers down his blazer jacket. "Who knew two weirdos like us could scrub up so well." she joked. He really did look great, and yet still looked like Sebastian, which was perfect. Part of her didn't want to go into the Ball, she just anted to stay her with him. But the sound of music and laughter and the strong happy emotions that were seeping out of the Hall were intriguing her and she looked up at him and nodded. "Yes. Before the music stops and everyone goes home." she teasd. They were unbelievably late. She sighed as his arm went around her waist and let him lead her inside. |
