Dani scooted to one side of the stairs watching Annie? run up the stairs. She blinked confused and kept going down and saw someone sitting on the seat beside the staircase. She frowned and walked over to him, silkily sitting down next to him.
"Fight?" She asked smoothly, trying to place him. He didn't look familiar, but yet he wasn't totally new. She knew him from somewhere.

Max watched Annie as she stood up and left, almost running up the stairs. "Jeez. Well done Max," he muttered to himself. He looked up as another girl sat beside him and spoke. "Nah. I don't know what that was to be honest." Then he looked at the girl properly. She was pretty, but he didn't know her. "Are you new?" he asked. "I don't think I know you. Max Randolf," he said, holding out his hand.

Dani smirked, nodding unconvinced. She sighed at the immediete once-over. "You got it. Beauxbatons love" She muttered non-chalantly. Raising an eyebrow at the hand she shook it gently, smiling slightly at the softness of them.
"Hard worker?" She said with a laugh. "Nah...I haven't seen you either...but if you don't know me...then you can't be that new" She smirked knowing she'd just confused herself.

"Beauxbatons. Impressive," Max commented, nodding approvingly. He chuckled at her comment, then laughed at her mumbling. "I've been here since first year. Don't I get a name?" he said, looking put out, when in fact he was trying desperately not to laugh. Maybe he wasn't as mature as he thought he was.

Cocking an eyebrow she laughed, "Non monsieur. C'est la crap e'cole" She smirked, "It was a hopeless school love. Nothing magnifique about that" She answered, her french fluent and smooth.
"Don't quit your day job" She said, at his poor attempt at the expression. She rolled her eyes, the boys here were either claimed by vicious looking spell winding boyfriends or free and boring. Maybe Beauxbatons hadn't been so bad......or at least the french boys
"Dani" She said softly.

Max smiled. "Ah. Ok. Pas ce que j'ai entendu," he said, mirroring her smirk. He'd spent enough time around French people to learn the language.
"Eh. It was worth a try." He shrugged his shoulders. He never was good at those kinds of expressions anyway.
"Ah. Well, nice to meet you Dani," he said, grinning at her. Dani. Great. They either look like her. Mention her. Or have the same name. f**k "What brings you to this s**thole?" he asked, gesturing to the Hall. "Although, it's not as bad as it used to be. Kildara's a bit of a clean freak."

Dani laughed for the first time that day, "Mingling with the poor petty french girl's have we? Naughty naughty" She replied smiling. She frowned at how easily he took her comment, most of the guys she knew had serious esteem issues and automatically assumed she was trying to take power when she was just joking. She smiled despite herself, but sadly it seemed he was much too taken with Annie? She nodded, but noticed the expression. "It's Daniele.....it seems Dani has been claimed here" She said, with a smirk.
"Hole? I love it here!France is so snooty....if they don't think they're better they think they're the best" She rolled her eyes irritated. Does everyone here but me, know the headmistress personally.....What did it look like before?" She said eyeing him, she was curious now. Danika looked up to her like a god, and it seemed everyone she'd talked to knew the Headmistress personally.

Max laughed. "Maybe. Had to pass the time while I was there some time," he shrugged.
He shook his head. "Dani suits you better anyway," he commented. "This place can be a bit like that," he mused. It was a constant struggle between good and better. "It was sort of dirty. You know, like old castles are. But Dara likes things clean. You should see her house. Not a speck of dust anywhere," he said, thoughtfully. "My dad is her ex. She's only 11 years older than me. Nasty if you ask me. Nice to live with though," he mused. "Sorta happy they didn't get married though. She's not exactly mum material." He laughed. He couldn't help it. He was on a roll. "Sorry. Too much information," he chuckled.

Daniele smirked, shaking her head. "There were several Danielles at Beauxbatons and I hated it." She replied, bitterly.
"Ms Snape must be something" She said with a laugh.
"Ex? Whoah..." Dani replied shocked. That was something. A mother who was only 11 years older than you. She winced inwardly and smirked, "No no...I was interested."

"Yeah. I suppose you could say she is. She certainly has a ... shall we say, affinity ... for getting her own way. She wants something, she has it," Max laughed. Affinity was the word. It just happened naturally. "Yeah. Ex. They were engaged, and she was pregnant. She cheated on him ... multiple times ... he left, she lost the baby. Now she's a clean slate. So to speak. I don't think Kildara will ever be a 'clean slate'," he laughed, at his choice of words. Now that was too much information! Surely.

Dani laughed, "I see. It didn't happen to rub off on you?" She replied, teasing. She frowned as he went on, it seemed he was quite at ease, letting a complete stranger into his life. She liked it, his openess. He seemed quite ...content with his past...or at least how he displayed it to the public. Daniele found it humbling but rather awkward. Rather glad that he looked a little put out by how much she told her, she nodded. "And you? How did you take it?" Nice Dani....want him to write you a book?

Max just laughed. "How did I take it? She didn't even know I exsisted until the beginning of this year," he chuckled. "But I suppose it was a good thing. She was too young for him anyway." He laughed again. And he didn't have to worry about the fact it was his to be step-mother he was perving on!

Caitlyn walked down the grand staircase, shockingly, with her hair in a fancy ponytail. She wasn't one for putting her hair up, she hated it. She stood by the giant doors and looked at the staircase, waiting for Dmetri to arrive for their coffee date.

Dmetri walked down the staircase at precisely seven o'clock always being one for punctuality, in his usual slacks and button down shirt. He looked up and saw Caitlyn standing there and walked towards her. "You look lovely tonight."

Caitlyn watched as Dmetri walked down the staircase, boy did he look hot, even if he was wearing his usual clothes. "Thanks, you look very nice yourself." She said blushing slightly. She looked up into his eyes, her goofy smile showing on her face again. She shook her head when she realized she couldn't tell where she was again. "Er, have you by any chance find my mind?" She asked softly.
