Annie sighed and looked up at him. She knew his mum had died but he never talked about it, to anyone. "It's alright to cry you know" she mocked him, trying to stear the conversation away from her parents.

Max laughed, shaking his head as Annie mocked him. "You're a laugh, you know kid. I missed you," he admitted, tightening his arm around her, hugging her tight to him.

Annie smiled and hugged him back softly. Kid. That's all she was to him, A kid. She was a year younger then him but she was still a kid? "How exactly am I a kid if I'm a year younger then you?" she asked looking up at him again.

"You're younger than me. Hence, you're a kid. Don't worry bout it babe. I call everyone kid at the moment. I called James that the other day. He all but flipped," Max chuckled, reminicent. "Don't worry, you're definately not a id anymore."

Annie stifled a laugh when he said he called James a kid. "You think you'd know that your father was older then you" he said shaking her head softly. Good so she wasn't just some little kid to her, she didn't want to be. "mmk" she mumbled.

Annie chuckled, "is that all you did when you were away? making your father angry?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Annie looked up at Max and shrugged, "I said mmk. As in ok" she answered simply. "That's not all I did. But that was my form of entertainment," Max chuckled. When she told him what she'd said, he nodded. "Oh ok." He looked around rather absent-mindedly. He was suddenly feeling rather awkward. |

Anastasia nodded and pursed her lips together, "yeah" she said slowly. She didn't know what to say next. "Ok, suddenly I'm feeling really awkward" she said outload. She smiled sheepishly and stared at the space in front of her.

Max laughed awkwardly. "So am I," he admitted. If he was thinking straight, he might have thought this out before he leaned around and placed a small kiss on her lips.

Anastasia chuckled back equaly as awkwardly as he had. She looked away for a second than turned back to him, feeling his lips against hers. She wanted to kiss him back but she didn't think that was a good idea. She pulled away from him, "Max... what was that?" she asked softly.

Max groaned, frustrated with himself, when she pulled away. "Annie, I'm so sorry," he said, stumbling over the words in his haste to get them out. "I - uh - umm - hmm," he stammered. Then he sat quiet and still. Stupid!

Anastasia nodded. "It's ok" she replied quickly. Stupid! Why the hell did you pull away? she asked herself in her head. "Max... I really... actually forget it" she changed her mind, He might just be being his normal self, going around with a different girl each night.

Max felt like a complete idiot. He heard her say his name, and he looked around to her again. "Annie. What is it babe?" he asked, turning on the bench to look at her properly.

Anastasia opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. She looked down at her feet again and shook her head, "It's nothing. Really" she answered. This is really awkward. She stood up quickly, "I got to go" she said softly before walking up the stairs and over to the towers. She needed to talk to Bella, or someone.
