"I was wondering why he left" she noticed Dani had spent a lot of time away but she always thought she was just in her common room or something. "makes a lot of sense" she smiled, "playing around is fun"

Danika smirked as realisation struck Annie. "Playing around is fun, definately. Especially with a few people. One just doesn't seem to be enough for me," she sighed dramatically, shrugging her shoulders.

"oh darling don't I know" she smirked back, her head ache was going away slowly, "remember last year, 4 boyfriends at once without anyone noticing" she pretended to check her manicured nails. "easier than it looks isn't it?"

"Oh yes, I remember. It's really quite easy. Like having a relationship with someone for two years, while your best friends are all crushing on him and then one of them starts going out with him. Keeping your hands off him is hard, especially when he's like the hottest guy in the school," she mused, thinking about how much she missed Sam's strong arms around her. "Oh well. We've all got to grow up one of these days I suppose. Just not right now!" she laughed. She wasn't ready to grow up, especially if it meant putting an end to all her 'exploring'.

"I'm never growing up Danika ever" she laughed forgetting everything else she had been upset about. "You're talking about Sam I suppose?" she smirked, "please don't hurt Bella" she begged, Bella was almost her best friend and she didn't want to see her hurt.

"I'm not ready to grow up. I'm having too much fun," she laughed. "Yeah, I'm talking about Sam. And Bella's my friend, I don't want to hurt her. My only thing is, it's hard to give up a habit. And that's what he is now. A habit. I don't want to, I really dont. We told each other we wouldn't, that we were just friends. He's addictive. He's like Honeyduke's Finest. Once you have a taste, you always want more." she sighed rather aggressively. She'd never told anyone she felt that about Sam before. Everyone just thought they randomy hooked up at parties and stuff. Not exactly.

"Aw, Dani" she hugged her friend, "I'll have to take your word on all that, since I've never been with him" she smiled, she had been with a lot of boys but Sam wasn't one. "Just remember he's Bellas now"

Danika smiled and hugged Annie back. "Thanks Annie," she sighed. "Yeah I know. We still meet every now and again. But we meet in the Library or the Courtyard, to talk. No more 'meetings' in the Broomshed or on the Pitch." She stopped talking as she felt tears start to prickle in her eyes. Oh no! she thought and mentally smacked herself across the head. She smiled up at Annie, trying to put on a brave face.

Annie looked at Dani, "Dani you don't have to be strong all the time, it's ok to let your guard down" she smiled at her and looked at the ground, "you're friends now and you always will be"

Danika sighed and let a single silver tear roll down her cheek, leaving a trail behind it on her porcelin cheek. "Yeah," she sighed, looking at the ground as well. "I just. I just don't know why it's so hard. My life has been so messed up since this summer. I'm sort of hoping my aunt and uncle forget about me. I'm betrothed, did I tell you. Stupid arranged pure-blood marriages. So medieval," she groaned. She wanted to hit something, really hard.

"Dani it's ok" she sat on the ground bring Dani with her, "look on the bright side, you weren't the one locked in her room and getting drunk every day" she frowned at the arraged marriage bit, "aw honey, are you going to go through with it?"

Danika sighed as she sat on the floor, pulled down by Annie. "Yeah, I wouldn't have cared if I got expelled from Hogwart's, I would have blown the place apart." she half laughed, wiping the tear from her face. "It's arranged. It's my darling Gryffindor cousin, who is infatuated with me, he always has been. I suppose I have to go through with it. Kildara's trying to reasong with his parents but they are daft," she sighed

"wait, wait, wait" she brushed her hair back with her hand, "you're marrying your cousin?" she sighed, "the gryffindor? ew" she shook her head, she knew her cousin and he was gross! "good thing you have Kildara on your side, she could help you more than anyone"

Danika laughed. "Ew's the word! Yes I'm marrying my cousin. Dearest Hendrik. That lanky digusting piece of stupid. And I'll have to wake up with him for the rest of my life, as of this summer coming up. Hopefully Kildara will be able to do something. My aunt and uncle are definately not getting any grandkids," she laughed. Even the thought of it made her want to gag.

Annie gagged, "don't talk about thinks like that again when you're talking about your couisn!" she basically shouted, "this summer but you're not even finishing school this year!" the whole idea was stupid and annoying.
