The Flower Garden

As you walk through a magnificent archway, you enter a magestic flower garden. It is a place that sound doesn't seem to penetrate, making it the perfect place to relax and take a break.
Every type of flower appears to be in this garden, adding to the colourful, relaxing feel. All around are benches to sit on and in the middle is an gurgling, running stream, giving off a sensational tranquil sound.
Come in, sit down on one of the benches, and relax!

Danika stormed through the archway into the Flower Garden, tears running down her face and utterly devastated. Her whole life was in tatters, being stomped on by invisible fiends in front of her. She was never going to be a Prefect. Her mother would have killed her if she was alive. But she was still Quidditch Captain. Her father would love that. And she was glad Professor Josephs was gone. There was no more male teachers at the moment, so there would be nothing to get her in trouble. She had enjoyed Robert at the time, but she was glad he left. Sometimes she wished she was not so good with males, she probably wouldn't get in trouble as often. Now she would have to find more ways to what she wanted without getting caught. Or maybe she should just stop altogther.

She collapsed onto a bench and sobbed. How could she let herself do this. How could she be so stupid. She was on the verge of being thrown out and she would be disgraced. What would James say. She couldn't bear to think of it. She was too embarrassed. She was so stupid. So stupid.

Danika, you bloody idiot she screamed at herself. You rotton bloody idiot! She was so angry. She flung her arm through the air and slashed a few flowers off their stems. Not even that relieved her. She would have to fix them later, before anyone found out. "Argh!" she screamed to the air. She was so angry with herself. She was so stupid.

Caitlin came over to Danika she felt horrid it was her fault. SHe wrapped her arms around her friend "Dani its ok." SHe said quitley she knew how much Danika had wanted it

Danika sobbed harder as her friend hugged her. She felt so childish, so stupid. "I'm so messed up, Caitlin. Everything is so messed up." she sobbed. She sat up slightly straighter and sighed. "What will I do if I get thrown out? What will James say? He'll be so disappoointed. What will Max say? Okay I don't want to think about Max," she sighed aggressively. She didn't know what to do. "I can't believe Kildara mentioned Professor Josephs in front of Alex."

Caitlin sighed now she felt even worse. "Dani it wasn't your fault I was to lax with the book..and James won't care what you do your like a daughter to him he'll still love you. As for Alex I'll threaten him if I have to but if he says one word his throat is going to disaper for about an hour because all anyone will see is my hands around it."SHe said huggin her tighter. WHY did she have to mess up now!

Now Caitlin was blaming herself. Danika shook her head. "We were both lax with the book. We should have made sure we took it back before we sat down to talk. And thanks. But if Alex tells anyone, I'll curse him so bad he won't know what hit him," she said, evilly. Why was it now they messed up? Why not a few years ago? Why was she so stupid? Why did Robert have to happen? Why did Smith have to happen? Why did they have to take that book?

Caitlin looked down a Dani sympatheticlly. she smile slightly She had always thought of her as a little sister and she couldn't bear it when she hurt, She hated the topic of Robert so much because of how much it had hurt Dani. secretly he hadn't got that black eye and bloody lip from walking into a wall it was her she had hurt him in a lot more ways...lets just say he wouldn't be freindly with other girls for a while "Dani how about we just agree that we both were a bit to relaxed with the book and that we can both kill Alex if he says anything I'll let you go first even."She said setting her head on top of Dani's

Danika smiled and laughed, resting her head on Caitlin's shoulder. Her big sister, always on the prowl. "Alright," she said. She looked over at the flowers she had slashed and sighed. She waved her hand and they mended themselves. She didn't want to get in trouble with the groundskeeper as well.

Caterina was walking through the grounds, considering the day was quite lovely to her taste. She saw two girls sitting by the bench, she only recognized Danika, and instantly knew about the whole book problem, she didn't know much, for she'd only seen them getting caught, perhaps she'll go talk to Kildara later.

"There. I'm glad you decided to mend the flowers. They held no fault on this" she said, rather nicely to her, and continued, "You could've come and ask me for permission to head to the restricted section on the Library, that way you wouldn't be inso much trouble" Caterina might be the one getting a bit in trouble, but being new had its advantages.

Danika jumped slightly, knocking her head against Caitlin's. Ow she moaned inwardly. She sat up straighter and smiled up at Sunwood. "Yes, well. They were very unfortunate to get in the way. I do feel bad, but I repaired them, that's the main thing right?" she smiled. She liked Sunwood, she was nice to her. "Do you really want to help the notorious Danika Peverell. You could get into a lot of trouble." she sighed. She hated being her sometimes.

"Well, of course, they're good as new" she said, looking at the flowers, as if they could be good as new, they actually couldn't. If the flowers were good as new, then they'll probably won't be blossoming now.

She shook her head at Danika's comment, "No, as much as I'd love to, Headmistress Snape will be watching you more than ever" Caterina said, almost in a whisper, which was an indirect comment to Danika, she needed to be much more careful from now on. "I think I can speak to her, though, you know, remind her that we were all students once" she smiled, and supressed a laugh when she started to remember her own time.

Danika sighed. Yes of course she had to be careful. She had already had a mouthful from Kildara. And Kildara better not hire any male teachers. Too much temptation, unless they were really old. She shivered inwardly in disgust.
"Thanks Professor Sunwood. I know Professor Snape out of school. She's been watching me since I was born. Please don't tell her I said this, but she's a bit of a hypocrite really. She was just as bad as me in school. And it's not like this is affecting my grades. I'm the only one that got twelve OWLs last year. Surely they'll take that into consideration. Right?" she asked, almost desperately. She was desperate for ways out.

"Don't worry, I won't tell" she said, the girl was obviously a good student, that couldn't be kept only into studies, but that was okay, she was never that way either, even if she was never considered good or bad by any group, she still knew they existed.

She smiled sadly at her, she seemed to be worrying to much, "I hope I could predict the future at my own pace and much more clearly, dear, but try not to worry much, perhaps Kildara wouldn't want to lose a student like yourself" Caterina said, looking into Danika's face, hoping she'll feel a bit more relieved.

Danika smiled weakly. "Thanks." she said softly. "Here's to hoping." She looked up into Sunwood's face and sighed. She very obviously wanted to help but she couldn't Kildara wouldn't keep her here if everyone wanted her out. She couldn't show 'favouritism' as she so aptly put it. She needed to stay to finish her schooling. She needed to do her NEWTs. Although she probably wouldn't need the piece of patchment that says she graduated, she would need the spells they thought in the higher years. She still had too years left. She needed to hang in there. "Thanks Professor." she said again.

Caterina smiled, no one knew by far what was going to happen next, not even her, the slightest change of things might turn into the opposite of what she could see, "Well, I guess I'm off, if there's anything you need, you know where to find me" she said, looking at both Danika and the other girl.

She walked away, she still had the weather on her side, and decided to wander around the castle. The grounds had always been her favorite part of Hogwarts, besides the Pitch, of course.
