[Ceallach o Raghallaigh]

Ceallach continued to watch Krysta as she pretended to write it all down.
"What's the six-year waiting period for? Waiting for them to mature?" she asked, chuckling softly.
Ceallach smiled as Krysta continued. "Female models? They'd better be in really good condition. I might give it a thought," Ceallach replied, returning Krysta's grin. That girl really did something to Ceallach. Interesting

"Oh, no, the male models never actaully reach maturity. The six year waiting list is because they keep getting lost on the way here and refuse to stop and ask directions." Krysta explained in a remarkably serious manner.

"Anyway...as for things to do there's Hogsmeade. There are a couple of pubs there, a post office, sweet shop, joke shop, teashop, fireworks store...and of course there's the Shrieking Shack. The place is practically a shrine to Severus Snape these days." she explained. For some reason she didn't want Ceallach to think this was the most boring place on earth.
"You can swim in the Lake if you want. Were not supposed to go in the Forest...but we do anyway." she said with a small chuckle.
"And...if you ever need somewhere special, we'll show you The Room of Requirement. It becomes whatever you need it to be." she looked at Ceallach's notebook. "If say, you need somewhere quiet to write..."

Ceallach's ears pricked up at the mention of pubs.
"Pubs you say? But, we wouldn't be able to drink there, ey?" Ceallach liked a drink. Comes with being a pampered private school kid. You tend to get up to more mischief than the 'main-stream' kids.
"Lake? N-yeah maybe," she shrugged. She could swim, but she didn't like getting her hair wet! It took ages to dry.
"Hmm. The Room of Requirement? Nice," Ceallach laughed.
Then she remembered something. "Oh, I was hoping to bump into Danika. Do you guys know where I might find her?" She had a message to pass one. One that made her laugh!

Krysta raised an eyebrow at the mention of Danika's name.
Blimey that girl moves fast. She thought, assuming Danika had been up to her usual tricks. She shook her head.
"Haven't seen her since Auror prep yesterday." she said, lying through her teeth. Although she didn't know exactly wher Danika was right this moment.
Probably seducing some unwary bystander. She thought in slight bemusement.
"If I see her, I'll tell her you're looking for her." she said with a weak smile. She couldn't help wondering who the message was from, though...and what it said.

"They won't let us drink alcohol in the pubs until we're of Age." she added grumpily. "So we usually send the 7th years in to get it for us." she added with a grin.

Ceallach had to hold back a laugh at Krysta's obvious shock at Ceallach already knowing Danika. It seems that the girl did have the reputation she wrote home about! Ceallach could read people well, and there was something Krysta wasn't saying. Ceallach was now determined to find out. Krysta obviously wasn't going to tell her, she'd ask Dani!
"Alright. Sounds good. I have a message from her cousin. But don't tell her that if you see her. She won't talk to me!" she laughed.

Ceallach groaned. "Well, that's no good is it? I'm sure I can get around that. There's got to be a way. Male or female barkeep?" she asked. Not that it mattered that much.

"The Three Broomsticks, the more respectable of the two is run by Madame Rosmerta. She's a dear, but she won't take any crap. And The Hogs Head is a dive that smells of goats. But they're more...lenient in there. I've been served in there before." she explained.
"But I come of Age over the holiday, so I'll take you for a drink to celebrate your first term at Hogwarts." she said with a friendly grin.

Ceallach smiled. "You lucky thing. I've got til March. Ugh! Who knew 3 months could be so far away!" she laughed.
"A drink. Sounds nice," she said, quickly trying to cover her shock at the mention of a drink, not drinks. People do things a lot different here. "I was allowed in the local pub in Kildare, then again at one of the pubs in Dublin. They liked all the young school girls in there. But we had to be careful. Don't get drunk and decide to show off your magic in a Muggle Pub! Not the best thing!" she laughed. Her friend had done that. They'd been thrown out. Then she'd had to work on one of the other barkeeps. Good thing she found seducing people fun. If not, her friends would have been in a lot of pickles.

"Ohhh, no 3 months!" Krysta wailed dramatically, teasing Ceallach. "Well no worries, I'll make sure you never have less alcohol in your body than is necessary."she added with a wink.
"Wow, I've never been in a Mugggle pub. Is it much different?" she said, really interested. Even on visits to Ireland wih her Father she had never been in one, though she often heard the gay music and singing as she passed by.

Ceallach laughed. "Thanks Krysta. Makes me feel so much better!" she said sarcastically.
"Less alcohol than is necessary! Sounds like a plan," she said, nodding her head. Although, for her, less alcohol than is neccessary, was actually quite a bit.
"Eh. Muggle Pubs are generally the same. They have different music. And they like to sing at the top of their lungs and they play football on the telly instead of Quidditch, and their drinks are different. But apart from that, the atmosphere's the same. Unless there's there's a big game on, then everyone's screaming. They're the nights to go in. Loads of prey," she laughed, not entirely joking.

Krys laughed. Ceallach was quite a character and she almost felt sorry for any man, Muggle or Wizard, she got her claws into. She was pretty in an elegant manner with fine cheekbones that gave away her heritage. It was the glint and sparkle in her eyes that Krys liked. She was as calculating as kelly and as alluring as Danika. She shuddered suddenly.
What a combination!
"So anyway, I'm free later if you wanna try the Hogs Head...I know a little, um...short cut." she said with a mischievous glint in her eye.

Ceallach watched Krysta for a moment, trying to work her out. Interesting type. She wondered what Krysta really in her free time. She was dying to find out.
"Well, I'm free all the time. So, I'm fine with that," she answered, returning Krysta's glint.

Krysta adopted a sort of evil genius pose, her hands in a pyramind shape, tapping the tips of her fingers together at its apex.
"Excellent....mwahahahah!" she joked in a deep, foreign accent.
"I can show you the Room of Requirement at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone."
Krys suddenly liked the idea of a few drinks. She threw Ceallach a sideways grin.
"Want to go now?"

Ceallach watched Krysta, shaking her head slightly, a perfectly plucked eyebrow arched in disbelief. People were definately different around here. But she could get used to it.
Ceallach nodded and smiled happily. At least she was making friends! "Yeah. Lead the way," she said calmly, although a slight excited tone seeped through.

"Yay!" cheered Krys and grabbed Ceallach's hand. "Come on, then. I have a hankering for a firewhisky...or six." she said with a grin. She led Ceallach from the garden and headed for the castle.

Ceallach laughed, but was sort of shocked when Krysta took her hand. She shrugged and clasped hers around Krysta's and followed her up to the castle. "Six. Sounds like you're my type of girl!" she laughed.
