Danika sighed. "Hun, please don't hide things from me. You know I'm here if you need to talk about anything," she sighed, wrapping her arm around Annie and hugging her. "What happened?"

Anastasias smile fell, "my mother is dead Danika" she felt the tears build up again, "and I'm hung over" she hated this, her head was pounding, "and I'm living with my bloody evil grand parents"

Danika's eyes widened and she pulled Annie back into a tighter hug. "Oh my god, love. I'm so sorry," she said, patting her friend's head lightly. "If I could help in anyway I would. Why are you hung over? You had a drink and didn't tell me," she laughed, trying to lighten the situation somewhat. Danika wasn't one for emotion.

Annie nodded and hugged her back, "much more than a drink. more like a bottle a day" she closed her eyes waiting for an explosion hoping it wouldn't be that bad. "I could have died and my grand parents didn't care" she added on in a much smaller voice.

Annie sobbed, "They wouldn't let me contact anyone, they wanted me to mourn in peace" she sighed, "my cousin came for the funeral and left a lot of acohol for me, to help me with my problems and all it did was make me feel sick"

Danika sighed. "Mourn in peace! What a load of crock! When my parents died over the summer, I was allowed to talk to people. It helped. I had Kildara and James and Caitlin. You could have found a way, surely," Dani asked, realising how flippantly she had mentioned her parents. So, really, Dani and Annie were in the same boat. "Drinking doesn't help. I know. I tried."

"I would invite you to come stay with me, but if I told you where I lived, I'd have to kill you," she laughed. Oh dear, Danika thought to herself. Way to make it worse. Stop laughing Danika really didn't handle emotin well.

Anastasia looked at her blankly, "It's not as long as I have food and water" as soon as she said the next bit she burst out laughing, "don't worry about telling me" although she had an idea where she lived. "Bella already invited me to come stay with her and her hot brother in the hoildays" she giggled, "oh and the rest of her family"

Danika laughed. "Yeah. More then one night would be great, but one will suffice. Just a short rendevous if you know what I mean," she laughed, winking. "I'm sure I have no Veela relatives. I'm sorry love, but my family think of youse as half-breeds. Bit of an unfair observation I think. I'm just naturally magnetic," she laughed.

"Playing around sounds fun," she laughed. "My specialty. Well, I'm not like that, and I don't have to try. I still get exactly what I want, when I want it. You remember Praofessor Josephs right? He got fired because he slept with a student last year. That was me. As I said, exactly what I want, when I want it," she laughed. She spoke about it so much easier now. She knew Kildara was hesitant in hiring male teachers because of her.
