The Flower Garden

Danika laughed. "Sorry I know. I had to put up with him all this summer just passed. Lovely, telling me all this stuff. I actually threw up on him, that's gross it was. I'm not coming back next year. I'm going to be a housewife. All my good grades will be going to waste. I'm a straight-O student and I'm going to be confined to a house. Can you imagine? Me, a housewife?" she laughed at the whole stupid idea. She really hoped Kildara could work something out.

"But you can't!" she basically yelled, "you're one of my best friends I'm not letting you go, I'll kill your couisn if I have too!" yes she really didn't want Danika to leave, "and I don't care if i go to prision!"

Danika laughed. "Honey, you'll have to dig him up , because I will have killed him first. Maybe we can share a cell in Azkaban," she laughed, half heartedly. She never wanted to go back there. Never. And she had only been there for an hour at a time to visit her parents and Kildara. She shivered just thinking of it.

"If you kill him then I won't get to, don't take my fun away Dani" she pouted and crossed her arms around her chest. Annie laughed at Dani slightly, "of course, you're the only one I'd want to share a cell with" She saw Dani shiver, "you're thinking about when you visited your parents aren't you?"

"Haha, sorry love. If I have to live with him, by ourselves. I will kill him," she laughed. Her face dropped when Annie mentioned her parents. "Yes. Mostly the last time, over the summer. When we went to pick up their bodies. It's horrible there," she sighed heavily, trying to push it from her mind.

"I see your point" she giggled a bit, "If I had to live with him well he'd be gone in a minute" she frowned at the talk about azkaban "aw come on honey, be happy!" she pulled Danis cheeks up so it looked like she was smiling.

Danika laughed and playfully batted away Annie's hands. She put on a smile, and tried not to laugh. "Better?" she asked. "No more talk of my parents, and no more talk of Hendrik. My two favourite subjects," she laughed.

"yay" she said slightly happy, "So tell me, what else has happened around her beside your love life?" she giggled quietly and looked around.

Danika put a finger up to her chin in thought. "Umm. Well, my love takes up a lot of it, and affects a lot of people. But umm, we've got a heap of new teachers. Some of them are alright. One of them, the Care of Magical Creatures Professor, I didn't know she was a teacher last year. Now I have to do her class, and we have a mutual hate of each other. Professor Sunwood is nice. Professor Wilson is nice. Professor Black is okay, if you look past the fact she's out to get me, and Professor Blackthorn, well, let's just say, I don't like her very much, but I'm sure she'll be nice to everyone else that's not taking her class as a filler. And of course, Professor Sanpe, gotta love her," she laughed. "Umm, that's about it. We have Arithmancy and DADA homework. What else you wanna know?" she shrugged. That was about it. She hadn't lied when she said her love life took up a majority of this term so far. "Oh and Quidditch is hopefully starting again, and I got Slytherin Captain," she said, happily, motioning to the badge on her robes.

"huh? Qudditch captian? I thought you were going out for prefect?" she was so lost she would never miss the first week of term again! "Ok so professors are nice... I hear there's one with red, crazy hair and she's out to get you and Sam?" maybe she shouldn't have said Sam, oh well to late now she shrugged and looked at Dani hoping her questions would be answered.

Danika shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah Captain. I went for Prefect, but I got into more trouble and my application was withdrawn. The crazy haired woman is Blackthorn. Yeah, Sam and I are taking her class as a filler. Just to fill up our rather empty timetables. We tried to get Quidditch as a subject but we couldn't," she laughed, remembering her and Sam's adament conversations with Professor McGonnagall before she left last year. "She didn't like my attempt to lighten the mood of the most boring subject ever. I hate Astronomy and I now hate the teacher as well. Great mix," she sighed.

"Yeah, It is" she shook her head, "can't believe you got caught again Danika!" she looked around again, "these flowers are so bright and they smell, I feel like I'm going to pass out from the smell" she admitted while standing up. "I think I'm going to go find everyone else" she waved goodbye and walked out of the garden.

Danika smiled and nodded as Annie got up. "Alright love. See you later," she said, sitting back.

Raven headed out to the flower garden after leaving Andrew in the library. She was just angry and upset and a combination of other emotions. I knew it bothered him when I mentioned Danika's name around him... grr..I just think he doesn't want me to be happy..maybe I should have kept my distance from him this year.

Danika walked into the Flower Garden, hoping for some peace from the stuffy castle. She walked in, smelt the rich aroma of the flowers and looked around. She saw Raven sitting on a bench by herself, looking very down in deed. She ran over to her.
"Oh my god. Raven, what's wrong?" she asked soothingly, sitting on the ground at Raven's feet.
