Mel looked up and smiled thankfully, "Bella!" She patted the seat next to her. "Luck is on my side today" She said softly.

Sitting down in the spot that Mel pointed to, Bella looked at her with a small smile. "And why is Luck on your side today?" she asked. If this was going to lead to Alex, she'd have to admit that she'd told him.

"Because I was wishing for you to come. I need your umm....." She trailed off, she couldn't believe she was asking Bella for advice, honestly what she really needed was a girl. A friend. Someone she could relate to. Bella was perfect.
"Advice" She said, settling on the word. "Or really, I'll ramble and at the end you help me" She gave her a small smile.

"Well here I am," Bella said with a small smile. She knew that Mel was probably a bit unsure of things right now especially because of Slytherin's prince. "Advice?" she asked. She listened some more before nodding. "Fair enough. I'll listen, you ramble, and then I'll help. Sound's like a plan to me."

Mel felt like hugging her. "I'm so unsure! I don't know if he likes me....or just." She sighed, "Well I told you we went to Hogsmeade and then...we fell over....and...and....I kissed him" She said eventually.
"We came up to the school and he kissed my cheek and then went to his commonroom. But I...he's.... Oh Bella!" She groaned, "I don't knwo what to do!"

Bella smiled as she listened to Mel's tales and then widened her eyes as Mel said that she had kissed him and he had kissed her. "Wow..." she said trying to find words to explain it. "Right... um Mel if I said that Alex doesn't like you... he has a really really big crush on you... what would you say?" she asked.

Isabella shrugged her shoulders and giggled, "I know. Yes he wants to date you. I think the kiss that you gave him, did something to him. A good something." She nodded and blushed, "Sì ma è così molto divertimento." Hearing that Mel wanted to say thanks, she shook her head, "No. Don't thank me yet. This has still got to work, before I can be thanked." Sighing, she said, "It leaves you with two choices although I'm pretty sure I know which one you're going to take. Either we can go and find Alex now and you can run into his arms and kiss him before saying that you like him more than a friend; or we can go and find Alex and you can say that you only like him as a friend nothing more."

Mel gasped, blushing slightly, "I'm so impulsive" She said, with a slight groan. "I mean....I guess he kissed back" She shrugged, giggling.
"Date me....that's surreal." She laughed humming 'O sole mio under her breath.
"Non sto andando a farlo di nuovo. Ho fatto errore che già una volta" She smiled liking the sound of italian on her tongue, "I like the first option though..." She grinned leaning on Bella's shoulder.
"Your a legend you know that. Eternal thanks hun" She murmured smiling. "You get the thanks before and after" She laughed but turned serious quickly.
"Are you sure I should do this Bella? I mean what if he..." She trailed off and then smiled softly. "But I guess this time, I'll follow your instruction" She smiled.

"Yes you're impulsive, then again, so am I. I think it's the Italian blood," Bella said with a laugh. "And knowing Alexander he definitely kissed you back." She stared at Mel for a moment and realised just how much of a good friend she was becoming.
"Non questo è un errore, questo è l'amore," she said softly. Speaking Italian with Mel was good, because it kept her in practice for going back home. Softly stroking Mel's hair she smiled, "Of course you like the first option, that's because it's the right one. I'll take the thanks, but I don't want anything else. As long as you're happy, I'm happy too."
When she asked whether she should do this, Bella nodded. "Yes I'm sure. Alex won't say no, he is honestly crazy about you. We spent the whole time in the library talking about you." She stood up and took Mel's hand dragging her up as well, "Come on. You're right, you're going to listen to my instructions and it's going to work out perfectly."

Mel nodded, "Definetely the italian blood. But then again, it can come in handy." She laughed. "Well...." She trailed off grinning. She caught Bella staring at her, but let her be, not realising how much their relationship had grown in the last term.
She rolled her eyes, "I wouldn't go there yet. But eventually" She smiled, her mind coming to far drawn conclusions.
She looked up, noticing Bella's hand in her hair, "Here goes cupid again" She giggled, tongue in cheek."Naw. I love you!" She said softly, smiling.
"Bella! The way you talk....we'll be getting married within the week" She laughed, but couldn't help reddening a little. Taking Bella's hand, she got up and laughed, "Okay Cupid. My life, dignity honour and pride are in your hands." She laughed.

"Trust me, the Italian blood always comes in handy," Bella said with a small smile. Bella laughed, "Eventually can come sooner than you think. I love you too hun, you're like a sister in a way." She shook her head, "I said nothing about marriage, but he definitely likes you more than a friend." Catching the blush on Mel's cheeks she giggled, "Great, that's all I need. My friend's life in my hands, for me to mould it however I want. First things first though we have to find Slytherin's prince."

Mel winked, "Definetely makes us more....sorprendente" She smiled, "Very philosophical there m'lady" She said, smirking.
She put an arm around her shoulder, "You are my sister. My little italian flavour" She laughed.
Amelina was taken aback, "You weren't thinking about it? That suprises me" She cringed, smiling.
"This is ridiculous. How do you know all this?" She asked softly yet gratefully.
"Aww come on Bella. You'd love it, to matchmake everyone's lives give everybody a happy ending" She smiled regretfully and sighed, "Alright. Let's go find the infamous Slytherin prince" She grinned and walked up after her.
