Bella smiled then blushed, "Was it that obvious?" She knew it probably was and she knew that Annie was just teasing. "I know he's lovely isn't he. I just can't believe he actually went to my dad without me knowing." She gave him a small smile and a wink, she wasn't going to let him go ever again. Annie smiled at Bella, "of course, well maybe it's because you're my best friend and Sam's like my brother" it wasn't hard to notice who loved who when you were with them half the day. "Of course he's lovely" she laughed. |

"Thanks Ceallach," Bella said grinning. "I don't know whether it's the lights, or the emotions, or the drink," she said, finishing off her first glass of champagne. Or at least she thought it was her first.. no it definitely was her first, she wasn't tipsy yet. "Sam's always been lucky, I think it's me that just caught luck for the first time." Ceallach laughed. "I think you need more drink!" she smiled. "Talking about drink, mine's finished," As soon as she'd finished talking, Chris was beside her, pushing another drink into her hand. She smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He went red and skulked off. Ceallach shrugged, raised her glas, chuckling slightly, before downing half the glass in one go. "Mmmm" she laughed. "Yeah, well, you're both lucky then!" she said, happily. |

Krysta tok a deep breath and went the lean against the bar again. The level of emotion in the room was extremely high and it was making her head spin. Her empathic radar had definitely strengthened and it was actually quite tiring. She grinned at the twins again.
"I guess I should pace myself." she lied, nodding at her drink and putting it back down on the bar. She turned so that her side was leaning against the bar and she could watch her friends laughing and celebrating. Their happinness made her happy. But there was still that nagging thought: where was Sebastian?

But there was still that nagging thought: where was Sebastian? Ceallach saw Krysta slump against the bar and smiled. She released herself from Zach again and walked over to her. "It seems I have a lot of catching up to do. I think I need another one," she said to herself. Then another drink was pushed into her hand. She looked up to se Chris shaking his head. H was looking more and more appealing by the minute. But ... the twins. Two of them! There was only one of Chris ... and two of them! She was pretty sure that if she did anything with the twins, Chris wouldn't forgive her. But, seriously! It's not like they were together. He'd hinted at it, but she let him feel up her skirt once. She shrugged and turned back to Krysta. She looked troubled. "He'll come," she said, in regards to Sebastian. She patted Krys on the shoulder and smiled, gulping her drink. Before long, she was in serious need of another one, which, very quickly replaced her empty glass. What was he trying to do? Get her drunk? |

Making an appearance, with blood and gashed across your face wasn't the best way to be fashionably late. Sebastian fingered his cheek, he knew the charm wouldn't last long, but he wasn't coming into a birthday party looking like a monster. He chewed his lip thoughtfully, as he rested his hand on the door to the bar.
He couldn't miss this, it was Krys' day. He pushed through the door, opening the door he stepped out, his eyes immedietly finding Krys. She was leaning against the bar, slumped slightly. He groaned inwardly, it was because he was late. Pulling up a smile, he walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Happy Birthday love. I'm sorry I'm late" He smiled, but his cheek twinged slightly where he knew the injury was. He kissed her cheek and turned the stool to face him, "I have something for you....but I'll give it to you later" He smirked ironically, how the present was the cause of his new scar. He smiled sadistically, another collector's piece.

Krysta felt him arrive just seconds before his arms slipped around her waist. She whipped around to face him and her face broke into a blissully happy smile. She cupped his face in her hands. Almost instantly her smile broke and was replaced by what could ony be described as anger. She saw straight through the charm and felt his pain. A small hot bubbling sensation in her stomach threatened.
"Who did this? she demanded, suddenly feeling extremely sober. She shook her head. "Wait darling, hold still." she instructed.
She took a deep breath and very slowly ran her fingers over his face. Almost instantly the wound began to heal, creeping from his face like it had never been there. She lowered her hnd and slid it around his waist.
"Any more wounds I need to know about?" she asked, pulling him close to her and kissing his neck.

Sebastian barely brought his lips into a smile, when he winced as he felt her anger hit him. He couldn't look her in the eye, but murmured to the ground, "Not now.." He felt her hand move down his cheek and the warmth from it. It tingled slightly but when her hand moved he knew it was gone.
He smiled as he felt the warmth of her skin around his waist.
"There are a lot more where that came from" He said dismissively, trying to get off the topic of himself. It felt awkward, selfish almost. Sebastian tensed slightly as she kissed his neck but lifted her chin finding her lips.
"So how much of the party did I miss?" He asked her smiling but definetely not reaching his eyes. He needed a distraction, desperately. The only thing between constant flashes and pain he was trying to block out was Krys. He could see it now, the shouting. He knew he had to stop thinking about it, she'd know.
"So...how drunk are you love?" He asked her mock sternly.

Ceallach finished yet another glass of Firewhiskey, feeling it hit her head. She never got affected by alcohol! Never! What was wrong with her. She put her glass on the bar, and looked at Chris, almost begging him for another one. She heard him sigh, but he handed over another one, albeit reluctantly. She smiled at him, then, deciding Krys was fine with Sebastian, she walked back over to the twins.
"Sorry," she said, taking another sip of her drink. She felt better now. Maybe she just needed to slow down. "So, are you guys having fun? Or are you bored?" she asked. I bet they're bored she thought to herself. Now I think of it, I'm bored too

Krys smiled sadly but nodded her head, pushing her anger aside.
"I'm happily drunk." she told him chuckling. "Guess what, Bella and Sam are engaged, so it's a double-party now!" she told him happily, her face lighting up. She hugged him and kissed him again, enjoying his lips on hers. "You want a drink, sweetheart? You need to catch up." she said playfully.

Kelly walked into the bar, taking a deep breath. She looked around to find Krys. She was there with so many people. She wanted to turn around and walk away, but Krys was still her friend, wether she liked it or not. She closed her eyes for a moment and walked to Krysta. "Hi, Krys. I was in the neighbourhood and thought to drop by and wish you happy birthday." She looked at her for a moment and then consentrated her look on the wall behind Krys's back.

Krys broke away from Sebastian and stared at Kelly in surprise. To begin with she ws lost for word. She honestly hadn't expected to see her and didn't know how to react. So much had happened. There was only one thing to do. She wrapped her arms around Kelly and held her tight. She didn't say anything for several long seconds, just hugged her friend. Finally she pulled back to look at her, but still kept her hands on her shoulders.
"I'm really glad you came." she said sincerely. "I've missed you, Kelly." She smiled softly. "Do you want a drink?" she asked looking at the bar behind her.

Danika looked around to see Kelly standing there. Her breath caught in her throat and she coughed quietly. She walked off, around the bar a little, trying to compose herself. She felt her eyes welling up and she was going to cry. But, she couldn't. Not in front of all these people. She slammed back the rest of her drink, then turned to look at Chris, who nodded sympathetically and handed her another. She tipped her head back, draining the entire glass in one go. She really didn't think she could handle being around Kelly right now. The feelings were still too raw. But she couldn't leave. So, she just stayed behind the bar, hidden slightly, while she tried to push away the feelings. The ones that rendered her helpless just a few days ago on the Astronomy Tower. The feelings that threatened to take her over. She was a mess!

Kelly was surprised when Krys hugged her, but she didn't let it show. She couldn't. "No, I have to go. I have a lot of .. umm .. things to do. But tell me, have you seen Danika lately?" She couldn't believe she was asking that. She didn't care about Dani anymore, did she? "I mean, not that I care, I just want to know, if everything's alright, or something.." Kelly knew she sounded like an idiot, but she couldn't help it. "I think I better leave, I'm going to be late" she turned her back to Krysta, walking towards the door.

Krys stared at Kelly's back hestantly. In a quick decision she ran after her and caught her arm gently before she left.
"I get it, ok. I'm not going to give you a hard time, I just want you to know I'm here if you need me. You know where I live, ok?" she said calmly in a low voice. "And it means a lot that you came here tonight. I know it must have been hard." she let go of Kelly's arm. "Take care of yourself." she said. "If you change you're mind I'll be here pretty late." she said, wanting to leave the offer of a drink open. She nodded with a smile, giving Kelly the freedom she obviously desired.

Kelly felt Krysta take her hand. "Here we go again" she thought, but what Krysta said, came as a surprise. "Yeah, I know where you live and I might come and visit, but I don't think I'll come back here. Sorry." She went to the door, opened it and turned back "Krys!" she shouted over the bar "When you see Dani, tell her I'm sorry." She walked out the door and let it close after her. She was on the street. Again.
