Bella jumped as she was enveloped in another hug, but hearing Angel's sweet voice she smiled. "Hey Angel! Thanks and of course you can!" She held out her left hand and allowed the diamond to sparkle in the light of the pub. The bottles of champagne seemed like a good idea, although this was mean to be about Krys, then again this was Krys' idea so she'd let it be. "I saw you with Zach and Aiden, a minute ago," she hinted smiling. Sam was somewhere shaking hands with someone and she was gossiping, so it's good.

Krys managed to stagger to the bar, laughing as she watched all he cheers and congratulations and people asking to see Bella's ring. She leant with her back to the bar with a glass of champagne in her hand and just watched it all, breathing in all the happiness. Her heart was swelling with it. She swallowed her drink and turned to the bar for another, grabbing another firewhisky and sipping it. She sighed. It was probably the craziest if not the happiest birthday she'd ever had. But amongst the mayhem she couldn't help wondering where Sebastian was and if he was ok.
She grinned at one of the twins, not entirely sure which one he was.
"I swear we're not like this every night." she laughed before dancing off to join Angel in admiring the ring again.
"Come on Angel, you're allowed one glass of champagne. It's a special occasion. Don't worry about your parents, if they give you any hassle I'll modify their memories." she chuckled, handing Angel a fluted glass.

"Wow it's lovely," Angel said admiring the diamond ring as she took Bella's hand to admire it closer. "You really are lucky Bella. Sam's such a lucky guy to have you." She had to admit, Sam was definitely perfect for Bella, she hadn't seen Bella happier in a very long time. Hearing the twins' names she blushed again, "Well nothing's happening. They both seem interested in Ceallach, although I wouldn't blame them."
"Alright but only one, otherwise I'm going to have to find someone to spend the night with," Angel said taking the glass from Krys with a small smile. She didn't fully know how she'd act with alcohol, but since it was Krys' party, she'd please the birthday girl. "It's not my parents, they're in France, I'm staying with my aunt and uncle, and they're more strict than my parents." She took a small sip of the champagne and coughed as the bubbles hit her throat. Yup, she definitely was an alcohol virgin. |

Krysta tried not to laugh as Angel took her first mouthful.
"Try to sip it." she advised. Don't worry I won't let you get drunk. You're only having that one and the only person you'll be spending the night with is your own teddy bear." she reassured her. She sighed. "Do you have to be home by a certain time? I'll apparate you back myself to make sure you get home alright." she offered. She didn't want her Aunt and Uncle giving her trouble on her account.
She turned to Bella. "So, chica, have you guys set a date yet or has this just been one big whirlwind of romance?" she asked. She was starting to feel the alcohol now and was wondering if she was actually making any sense.

"Angel - that's a beautiful name," Aidan said, thinking that Hogwarts certainly had its share of pretty girls. He saw Zach put his arm round Ceallach's waist. Obviously his brother had taken a liking to her, and he couldn't blame him, there was a certain something about her... he casually draped an arm across Ceallach's shoulders, but at the same time he reached out and tucked one of the wayward curls back behind Angel's ear. Zach smiled at his twin's actions. Usually if one of them showed a special interest in a girl, the other backed off; but just occasionally they were equally interested in the same girl. It was always a good-natured rivalry, and sometimes it even led to some very interesting encounters - if the girl was open-minded and adventurous! Ceallach smiled up at Zach, trying to find things to tell them apart. She was actually just about to lean up at give him a kiss on the cheek, when she felt Aiden drape his arm over her shoulders. She turned her head to smile at him. She would have put her arm around his waist too but she needed her hand to hold her drink. She smiled at both of them in turn, trying to work out whether she'd split them up, or, they were looking very attractive as a pair. There may be no need to split them up, and distinguish which one she wanted most. Bella laughed as Krys screamed. Her own happy tears were falling down her face, seeing how happy her friend was for her. "I know!" She smiled as she was pulled into a hug, "Love you too Krys. Love you too." Her whole attention was drawn away as Krys yelled out to the whole pub. "Um.... Sam asked me to marry him about an hour ago. And I said yes!!!" She couldn't help it, she was honestly one of hte most happiest girls in the world right now and now she knew how Gabbie had felt when Tobias asked her. Ceallach heard all the screams and looked over. Bella had arrived, and she had news! She smiled happily, leant herself into Zach for a moment then laughed, as the screaming continued. "I'm just going to congratulate them." she said, giving Zach's waist a small squeeze, before running off to hug Bella. "Oh my god! Bella you're so lucky!" she said happily, examing Bella's hand. "And the ring is gorgeous." |

He pulled her into a tight brotherly hug. "Yeah, well. I did. Isn't that the main thing?" he said, shrugging his shoulders, looking up at his new fiancee, watching her glow. She was so beautiful. "How are you, love?" he asked, looking back down at Annie. |

Annie laughed back when he pulled her in to a tight hug"I guess it is but if you don't let go you won't have me to celebrate with you" she answered trying to move, man this boy hugged tight "I'm good, but you seem to be great"

Sam laughed, releasing her. "Sorry. Bit over-zealous!" he said. He was so happy it was ridiculous. "Yeah, I'm great! Happiest I've been ever!" he said excitedly. He felt like a little school boy.

Annie laughed again and smoothed out her skirt, "It's alright, it's normal for you to be so happy" she smiled, "you'll make a great husband" she said, as long as he didn't do something stupid.

"Sorry," Angel said taking a smaller sip the second time round. That time was better and it tasted surprisingly good. She smiled, her friends were good and knowing that Krysta would make sure she only had one was a small reassurance. "No just before tomorrow morning in one state with two feet and my wand," she said with a small laugh. That was really all her aunt cared about since her wand was really expensive. "If you're sure Krys, this is your party after all, and I don't want to drag you from it." The birthday girl was supposed to stay and enjoy herself not escort their younger friends home.

This was only her first glass, yet she did have her firewhisky to drink as well before the night was over. "I don't think we've set a date yet, he only asked me like 30 minutes before coming here. But I love him Krys, I'm 100% in love!" Ceallach heard all the screams and looked over. Bella had arrived, and she had news! She smiled happily, leant herself into Zach for a moment then laughed, as the screaming continued. "I'm just going to congratulate them." she said, giving Zach's waist a small squeeze, before running off to hug Bella. "Oh my god! Bella you're so lucky!" she said happily, examing Bella's hand. There were so many words for that ring but they just hadn't been invented yet. Ceallach smiled. "Wow!" she said, examining the ring further. "It's gorgeous. And you look stunning. Glowing like that! Sam's a lucky man!" she said smiling, happy for them. She let go of Bella's hand and smiled. "Oh yeah you guys will never guess what he did. He went and got my dad's permission!" Ceallach laughed, turning to Sam to give him a hug. "You went and asked her dad?! Oh Sam, aren't you just the gentleman!" she laughed, hugging him tight. "Congrats honey," she murmured into his shoulder. She felt like she was ignoring the twins a bit, so when Sam released her, she went back over to them, slipping her arm back around Zach's waist and smiling apologetically up at him. |

She knew it probably was and she knew that Annie was just teasing. "I know he's lovely isn't he. I just can't believe he actually went to my dad without me knowing." She gave him a small smile and a wink, she wasn't going to let him go ever again. Ceallach smiled. "Wow!" she said, examining the ring further. "It's gorgeous. And you look stunning. Glowing like that! Sam's a lucky man!" she said smiling, happy for them. She let go of Bella's hand and smiled. "Thanks Ceallach," Bella said grinning. "I don't know whether it's the lights, or the emotions, or the drink," she said, finishing off her first glass of champagne. Or at least she thought it was her first.. no it definitely was her first, she wasn't tipsy yet. "Sam's always been lucky, I think it's me that just caught luck for the first time." |
