Sinead smiled. "Sounds like a plan," she replied. As he walked off, she shook her head, trying not to laugh. She watched him walk back. She raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow at him, a grin on her face. "Goes down real smooth, does it? Well, we'll just have to test that one out." She stood up and started walking towards the door. "You coming?" she asked, turning around, smiling.

Aidan grinned. "Just try and stop me," he said teasingly, he said, as he followed Sinead out the door.

Chris stumbled the stairs, patting his wayward hair down and still doing up his shirt buttons. He'd finally given into Kya, resolving there was no way a goddess like Ceallach would go for him. But, Kya had timed it perfectly. This was her day off. So, she got to rest after the rigourous excerise she'd put him through last night. He'd never realised he was so unfit! Or, maybe Kya was just in really goot shape. Or they'd both drunk too much. Probably all three. He tripped on the last stair, in his haste, and stumbled to regain his his footing. He heard a chuckle from in front of him, and he groaned. There was already people there. Was he really that late?! He gave them all a sheepish smile and hurried behind the counter and got ready for the day.

Simon apparated into the pub with Liz by his side. It seemed pretty quiet. There were just a few regulars sat at the bar talking and laughing. He looked around the place and a bemused smile played his lips. "It hasn't changed at all." he commented. He took Liz's hand and led her to a clean, private table in the corner where they wouldn't be interrupted or overlooked. He pulled out her chair for her politely, then pulled his scrave and coat off, dropping them on the back of his chair. "What would you like to drink?" he asked, pulling out his money bag and nodding at the bar. It felt so good to be away from the school. Here they were just two people out on a date.

Liz shook her head as she arrived inthe pub by Simon's side, clearing it. She glanced at who was at the pub and was happy to see that not many people were there. Not any that would care about them anywhere. "It never does," she said. "I haven't been here during term before. It seems quieter." As he took her hand she smiled and followed him over to a table in the corner. She sat in the chair that he'd pulled out for her and then undid the buttons on her cloak, taking it off her shoulders. "Um...I'll have a wine please," she said after thinking for a moment. Firewhisky wasn't really her favourite drink, and since she was away from students she didn't have to stick with a Butterbeer. "Are you sure you don't want me to pay for some of it," she asked reaching for her own money bag.

Simon instantly held up his hand. "No, no, tonight's on me. The Gentleman always pays for the first date." he said with a wink. "Red or white, sweet or dry?" he asked, tilting his head to one side. She seemed somehow even more beautiful away from the school. He couldn't believe she was here with him, alone with no one to bother them. This was exactly what they both needed.

"Alright as long as you promise there'll be times when I can repay you." Liz smiled and sat back in her chair looking at him, "White and dry please." It was her favourite drink and seemed to suit her taste buds and personality, according to her sister. As he stood there looking at her, she reached out and touched his hand gently. "You know you have the whole night to look at me if you want. But the drinks will eventually close when the bar tender goes to bed."

Simon smiled as she touched his hand. "It's still early yet, but I agree I should go and get that drink." he agreed. He disappeared to the bar, returning with a flaggon of wine and a jug of Meade. He poured her some wine and sipped at his frothy Meade. "So...I was wondering..." he began reaching for her hand and clasping it gently between his own. "Is my lady available to go to the Easter Ball with me?" he asked. He'd been meaning to ask her officially for a couple of days and somehow the moment had never arisen.

"Just means time for more drinks if we want them later," Liz said knowing that she probably wouldn't drink more than one or two anyways. She watched him go to the pub and then come back with the drinks. He was definitely her knight, sounded corny she knew that but he'd saved her from Emilia and was treating her like a princess. "Tasty," she said after sipping her wine. White was definitely nicer than red. "Yes?" she asked smiling as he held her hand between his. Her hands were tiny! That or his were big. Hearing his question she grinned, "Well you see, I was told by this guy earlier today that my scheduale was fully booked up with him and I wasn't allowed to accept any other dates. So... I have no free time, I'm already going with a wonderful man named Simon." She giggled and then looked into his eyes that were so captivating it was unreal. "Thank you for asking. I was wondering whether I'd have to ask you."

Chris walked into the Leaky Cauldron and went over to the bar. "Hi," he said to the bartender. "I'm staying her for the holidays. I'm Chris Marquez, my parents were supposed to reserve a room for me. My sister got chicken pox, so I can't go home in case I catch it." He looked around with interest. He'd been in here before, of course, but only on his way through to Diagon Alley. It looked like a pretty cool place to be staying, and very handy for all kinds of fun in Wizarding London.

Chris looked up from his cleaning when a youngman spoke to him. "Ah yes. You're in Room Two," he said, leaning over to the rack of keys and handing the boy the one for his room. "Chicken pox?" he enquired. What in the world were they?! "Is there anything you need? If you do, just ask."

Chris grinned as he took the key. "It's a muggle disease. You come up in masses of spots filled with pus!" He tried not to laugh at the bartender's expression. "Apparently it itches like crazy." He picked up his suitcase, and headed towards the stairs. Now that he was used to the idea, he was looking forward to a few weeks of freedom.
