Kelly felt Krysta take her hand. "Here we go again" she thought, but what Krysta said, came as a surprise. "Yeah, I know where you live and I might come and visit, but I don't think I'll come back here. Sorry." She went to the door, opened it and turned back "Krys!" she shouted over the bar "When you see Dani, tell her I'm sorry." She walked out the door and let it close after her. She was on the street. Again. Danika took a few deep breaths, on the verge of walking back around the bar, when Kelly called out. Her words made her duck behind the bar again, letting out a small sob, tears beginning to pour down her cheeks. She felt like running after Kelly and hugging and kissing her. Never letting go. No matter what. But that wouldn't help the situation. So, she resolved to slide down the wall she was leaning against, her glass being magically refilled, downing them one after the other. |

Krysta watched the door close and her heart squeezed as she felt Danika's torment. She looked around for her but couldn't see her. She new she was here, though, she could feel it.
"Dani?" she shouted over the noise of the bar, people still celebrating and laughing. "I know you're here, babe." she called. Where was she? She walked around the bar, giving Sebastian's arm a reassuring squeeze as she passed him. She finally found Danika huddled on the floor against the wall, necking back glasses of firewhisky like it was going out of fashion.
"Dani." she moaned, dropping to the floor beside her and pulling her into her arms. "I'm so sorry." she murmured.

Krysta watched the door close and her heart squeezed as she felt Danika's torment. She looked around for her but couldn't see her. She new she was here, though, she could feel it. "Dani?" she shouted over the noise of the bar, people still celebrating and laughing. "I know you're here, babe." she called. Where was she? She walked around the bar, giving Sebastian's arm a reassuring squeeze as she passed him. She finally found Danika huddled on the floor against the wall, necking back glasses of firewhisky like it was going out of fashion. "Dani." she moaned, dropping to the floor beside her and pulling her into her arms. "I'm so sorry." she murmured. Danika stayed quiet, just sitting on the floor, slugging back Firewhiskies like there was no tomorrow. If she kept going like this, there would be no tomorrow. She wouldn't wake up. That was an appealing thought, actually. No more pain. But, she couldn't do that. Not to her friends. And definately not to Dara. She sighed as Krysta found her, and hugged her. She tried to still her tears. "It's not your fault. I'm sorry. I'm being silly. Don't let me ruin your birthday," she said, surprisingly steady, considering her sobbing and the amount of alcohol in her system. |

Krysta kissed the top of her head.
"Don't apologise, please. You don't need to. Just because it's my birthday doesn't mean I stop being your friend. I honestly didn't think Kelly would come here tonight." she said kindly. She rubbed Dani's arm. "I take it you heard what she said just before she left?" she asked.
"I really think she meant it. I know she did." she said sadly. She took Dani's glass from her hand and raised a bemused eyebrow. "I'd suggest having a drink, but you beat me to it." she scalded her good-naturedly, then grinned.

She scrunched up her nose, as Krysta took her glass from her hand. "Hey! Give it back!" she laughed, leaning to take the glass back, and nearly falling over. "I don't think I'm fit to Apparate!" She laughed heartily, causing Chris too look around and shake his head. He'd tried to stop the glass refilling, but, Danika learnt most things from the best! |

Krys grinned sheepishly at Chris.
"Come on. Let's go and be with happy people. Maybe being around Bella will cheer us up. Plus we need to stop Ceallach before she bankrupts Chris." she added with a laugh. She climbed to her feet and pulled Danika to hers. She was a bit wobbly.
"Maybe we should get something to eat. You may feel better." she suggested.
"Hey Chris have you serving any food at all?" she shouted to him over the busting noise of the bar.

"Chris can you send an owl to Snape Manor, letting her know she's staying here. She'd be even more mad if Dani didn't turn up at all." she asked. "Just say she's staying with Ceallach or something." she suggested. Dara probably wouldn't mind that. It wouldn't go down too well if she knew she was out all night with Krysta, though.

Krysta clapped her hands together in delight.
"Pizza!" she squealed. "I haven't had pizza in months! Hands off the pineapple it's mine.!" she warned the others with a grin. "Come on Sebastian, I'll prove to you exactly how much I can eat!" she called over to the boy, feeling a bit guilty at the way she'd just left him like that. She had to stop getting involved in everyone's personal lives. But it was hard when you could feel people's emotions, especially those of people you care about.
"'ella! 'am! We ab 'izza!" she yelled at the happy couple through a mouthful of melted cheeze.

Annie smiled at Bella, "of course, well maybe it's because you're my best friend and Sam's like my brother" it wasn't hard to notice who loved who when you were with them half the day. "Of course he's lovely" she laughed. "Yeah I guess that would do it," Bella said with a small laugh. She heard Annie's comment and smirked, "There are many more words that describe him too, but I can't say them out loud, cause he'd die of embarrassment." Actually she probably would die too just from saying it. She was happy that Annie knew Sam just as well as she did, it made things a lot easy to discuss sometimes. Ceallach laughed. "I think you need more drink!" she smiled. "Talking about drink, mine's finished," As soon as she'd finished talking, Chris was beside her, pushing another drink into her hand. She smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He went red and skulked off. Ceallach shrugged, raised her glas, chuckling slightly, before downing half the glass in one go. "Mmmm" she laughed. "Yeah, well, you're both lucky then!" she said, happily. "I can't get too drunk Ceallach. I actually want to remember tonight, if that's possible with so much alcohol around," Bella said although when Chris handed her another glass of champagne she didn't refuse. Who refuses the bartender who's offering you free drinks? She drank a bit and then smacked her lips together. The drink was honestly doing nothing to her yet, but she knew that by the end of the night she'd probably be tipsy. "I guess you're right, although I think I came up luckier. He could have any girl in Hogwarts, but I'm the one that has him." Krysta clapped her hands together in delight. "Pizza!" she squealed. "I haven't had pizza in months! Sheez, a girl could miss a lot in a matter of moments if she was caught around friends. "Pizza?!" Bella exclaimed hearing one of her favourite words. It probably wouldn't be as good as her mother's but then she and Sam hadn't actually finished their food. "Hungry love?" she asked, walking up to Sam and taking his hand in hers. She led him over to the pizza and grabbed some pepperoni pizza. "Mmm and it's nice and hot." Pizza and Champagne, weird but tasty combo. |

"Pizza: Good! Champagne: good! Friends: woohoo!" sang Krysta happily, pulling another slice of pizza from the huge plates Chris had brought them. She smiled at Sam and Bella. They looked so happy. She was still a bit worried about Danika and she put her arm around her friend's waist and gave her another hug and kissed her cheek, trying to ignore her intoxifying scent. She was definitely feeling the alcohol now. She stared intently into her glass thoughtfully.

Sebastian smiled when she went off and to the bar. Raising at eyebrow at the bartender and Ceallach.
"Admirer?" He asked her with a laugh. He sat down on the stool,
"Firewhiskey" He murmured to the bartender.
"So...what did I miss?" He asked her, he frowned watching Bella and Sam, "They're not..." He squinted and laughed rolling his eyes, "engaged" He finished for her.
"So...how've your holidays been?" He asked her, trying to something more jovial compared to his usual moody self.

It probably wouldn't be as good as her mother's but then she and Sam hadn't actually finished their food. "Hungry love?" she asked, walking up to Sam and taking his hand in hers. She led him over to the pizza and grabbed some pepperoni pizza. "Mmm and it's nice and hot." Pizza and Champagne, weird but tasty combo. "Pizza?!" Sam said, trying not to laugh as he stuck his nose in the air, sniffing. Then he burst out laughing. He was such an idiot! He smiled down at Bella and nodded. "Very," he laughed. He was always hungry. He followed her over to the table and took some pizza. He watched her eat for a moment. She was so beautiful. And she's mine! he reminded himself. He smiled, and then took a bite. "Good pizza," he said, as he swallowed. |
