She turned to Gabbie and beamed. "You look fantastic. Thanks for coming out, I appreciate it. But if it starts to get too much I'm not going to be offended if you want to go home, ok?" she said kindly, kissing her on the cheek with a smile. She looked around at her friends grinning. Gabbie smiled and kissed Krysta's cheek in return. "I'm fine, Krys. 100% fine! I'm getting used to it all now. I'll stay as long as everyone else does!" she laughed. She took her Butterber and turned back to Chris. "Everything's fine, Chris. Thanks for asking," she said, successfully hiding her lie. She had no idea what was up with Tobias. She hadn't heard from him for ages. She looked down at the ring on her finger and sighed. She looked up and smiled, taking a particularly large swig from her bottle. Pity she was pregnant. Chris would probably let her have some Firewhiskey. And she needed it right now! |

"Thanks Krys," Angel said happy that someone liked them. She laughed as Krysta played with her hair "Of course we'd come, it's not everyday you come of age now is it?" She took a sip of her pumpkin juice and smiled as the drink soothed her throat. Not everyone had turned up yet, but as soon as everyone did, things would probaby get really busy and loud. Angel laughed as the thought of a quiet meeting passed through her mind, there was no way on earth they could be quiet when they were all together.

Ceallach dragged the boys down the stairs, occassionally flicking glances up at Zach. He seemed to be the one to catch. Or, would be the easiest to catch. She dropped their hands when she saw Krys. She ran up to her friend and pulled her into a hug.
"Happy Birthday, Krysta! How are you?" she asked. She'd been concerned for her new friend. She'd told her about what was going to happen. It sounded painful. She turned to Danika, giving her a hug. "How are you love?" She then walked over the bar, leaning on it, smiling endearingly at Chris. He smiled, shaking his head and passed her a large double Firewhiskey.
"Thanks Chris. You really are a darling," she said. She turned back to the twins. Leaving her drink on the bar, she walked back over to them, taking their hands again and dragging them over. "Do you want a drink? My shout," she asked them.

Angel looked up as she saw Ceallach walking down the stairs with two boys. "Hey Ceallach, I thought I heard you were going to Ireland for the holidays," she said with a small smile. She was glad that she hadn't, because it meant that more people were here to help celebrate Krys' birthday. "How've you been?" Ceallach turned as she heard her name. "Oh, hi Angel! No I don't think I'm ever going back. Mum and dad sent me here, told me not to come back til I'd learnt my lessons. Considering I have no idea what lessons I'm supposed to be learning ... I'll be here for a while!" she laughed, taking a gulp from her glass. "I've been good. Just meeting people," she said, raising an eyebrow, so the twins couldn't see and smiled. She had a feeling she may not be lonely very long! |

"Oh well, it just means you have to stay here with us," Angel said giggling. She had no idea why some people's parents were so mean but Ceallach was really nice and just because her parents didn't sound nice, didn't mean their children were like that. "I can see that," she said smiling at her reaction. "Are they by any chance your company for the holidays?" She peered round Ceallach to get a better look at them and noticed they were twins. Good luck to Ceallach if she could tell them apart!

"Ceallach!" she cried happily returning the hug hapily. She spied the twins over Ceallach's shoulder and gave her a knowing grin.
"Should have known." she said rolling her eyes. "Where did you find those two?" she asked, running an appraising eye over the two boys.
"I'm ok." she said in response to Ceallach's question. "It was pretty rough but now I feel incredible. And Sebastian was with me. It made it easier with him there. Hopefully he'll join us later." she explained. She leant close and whispered. "You are going to get drunk with me aren't you?" she asked hopefully.

Aidan grinned as they reached the seating area of the bar. It seemed to be full of girls, probably all Hogwarts students. Even if Ceallach didn't prove to be as adventurous as he was hoping, there was a good chance that both he and Zach would have a very pleasant evening. He let himself be towed over to the bar, and said, "Sure, firewhiskey."
Zach took in the scene with relish. It appeared they would be spoiled for choice at Hogwarts. But for the moment, his attention was on Ceallach. He followed her and Aidan to the bar. "Yeah, I'll have the same," he said when Aidan ordered firewhiskey. He slid one arm around Ceallach's waist, and said, "So, are these all friends of yours at Hogwarts?"

"I need another." Krys announced, placing her shot glass upside down on the bar and grinning at Chris. "Start as you mean to go on! Another double please Chris!" she insisted loudly. She turned to the twins and grinned.
"Hi I'm Krysta." she said offering her hand to each of them. "Chris had promised the first round is free, guys. It's his present to me." she told them. "Chris, these guys haven't had a drink yet!" she told him, a mixture of excitement, happiness and a fast double shot making her slightly hyper.

"Krysta - pleased to meet you." Aidan reached out and shook her hand, holding it just a little longer than was absolutely necessary. "I'm Aidan Fischer. Are you at Hogwarts? We're starting in January. Did Ceallach just say it's your birthday? Happy birthday!" He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and grinned mischievously.

It's Krysta's birthday," she said, pointing out Krys. "Danika is the one with purple hair. She's the Slytherin Seeker and Captain. The pregnant one is Gabbie and this one here," she said, pulling Angel over to her. "Is Angel." |

Krys laughed at his flirtatious greetings and hit his arm lightly.
"Smooth, babe, very smooth." she chuckled. "But thank you. I've been looking forward to tonight for ages. I don't have to hide my...I can do what I want now." she corrected with a grin. "Yeah, I'm a sixth year and I'm in Gryffindor. Did I hear say you're going to be in Ravenclaw? It's about time we had some boys with brains around here." she added with a laugh. "Where have you transferred from?" she asked, wondering where her drink was.

She smiled, biting her lip slightly as Zach slipped his arm around her waist. She did teh same, sliding her own arm very slowly around Zach's waist, smiling up at him. "Yeah. Their all from Hogwarts. It's Krysta's birthday," she said, pointing out Krys. "Hopefully her boyfriend will be gracing us with his presence soon. Danika is the one with purple hair. She's the Slytherin Seeker and Captain. The pregnant one is Gabbie and this one here," she said, pulling Angel over to her. "Is Angel."
Angel had been happy just drinking her drink and watching Ceallach with one of the twins while the other one was with Krys. "Ceallach!" she exclaimed as she was pulled forward. Smiling shyly she looked at both boys as she pushed one of her golden locks out of the way. Ceallach's pull had messed her hair up and it had gotten in her eyes. "Hi. Nice to meet you." |
