"Relax Dani" he said when she grabbed his hands, "you realise I can easily break your hold on me?" he said flipping their hands and grabbed hers to prove his point. "I don't know anything but my love life" he said with a sigh and let go of her hands.

Danika gasped, then laughed, as he flipped their hands, breaking from her grip. "Yeah, well. I've never needed strength to control people! But it was worth a try!" she said, pretending to sulk. As he let go of her hands, she sighed. He was definately different. "Umm. Quidditch. I need to hold tryouts!" she said, her face lighting up. Quidditch was her favourite subject!

"Yeah yeah" he said patting her on the head, "but you can do magic I could only dream of" he added trying to make her feel better even though he knew she was kidding. "Quidditch! I can't wait for you to hold try outs! do it all ready" he said over dramicatlly and grinned at her.

Danika scrunched up her nose as he patted her on the head. "I can anyways. When you're taught practically everything Kildara Snape knows, you know quiet a bit. Although, mostly it doesn't help me in classes, unfortunately. A lot of what I know, we are taught how to counter!" she said, smiling again. She liked being better than people at things. "I know. I know. I'm sorry. A lot's been going on. No other house has started tryouts, so we're not behind. I'll try and book the Pitch soon. I guess you're trying out again, this year. Chaser?" she asked, playing she had no idea!

Alex shrugged at the Kildara comment and sat back his mind wondering from the conversation to other things, like Mel for example. Alex snapped back to the real world when "Of course I'm trying for chaser" he said smiling, "and you're doing Seeker am I right?"

"Am I doing Seeker? I think that wall did more damage to your brain, than your hand! Do you really think I'm going to make my team lose by letting someone else do my job? No. I'm the best Seeker in the school. Merlin, I'm modest!" Danika laughed.

Danika laughed. "Woah! Calm down," she said, putting a had on his shoulder. "Yeah Christmas. My first Christmas since my parents died. I'm going to Kildara's. Spending the holidays with her and James. What are you doing?" she asked, trying to skip over the fact she'd mentioned her parents.

Caeleb sauntered into the Common Room and dropped onto a green sofa, having first kicked the random second year kid off it. The kid ran off throwing an angry but startled look behind him. Caeleb ignored the insignificant little runt and stretched out, comfortably draping himself across the entire piece of furniture. He watched two students talking nearby, one of them a lad he recognised as being in his year (Alex or something) and a girl with purple hair and a pretty face. He raised an eyebrow and checked her out. She was pretty hot, but he was feeling lazy right now. He'd seduce her another time.
He yawned and scratched at his arm. It itched.

Danika looked up as another guy walked into the Common Room. He looked so casual, draped over the chair. She turned her head back to Alex, watching the other guy check her out, out of the corner of her eye. She saw him scratch his arm. She looked down at her own. It looked bare, but only because she'd mastered the spell to hide it. She stole a glance back at the guy on the couch, licking her lips slightly. He was hot.

"Spending it with mum and my sister" he shrugged and watched another guy in his year walking in. Alex looked at Dani and noticed suddenly she thought that guy was hot. Rolling his eyes he was about to say something but remembered she could read minds, 'What about Kelly?' he asked in his head, holding in his laughter, she wouldn't be the first girl to fall for that guy.
