[Danika Peverell]

Danika looked around at the girls as they giggled. Shaking her head, she laughed as Alex told them to get lost. "Well, that's how you got yours. The fact we're purebloods probably helped. How I got mine, well, I don't know. Probably for the same reasons you got yours!" she laughed. "The Prince has a fanclub! It seems to be 4th year girls that are going after you guys. Sam has a group of 4th Years following him too!"
"Mel! Oh my god! Wow! She's nice. I'm sure she likes you. Who wouldn't!"

"that's how i got mine?" he shook his head and smirked at Dani, "you're like the scariest slytherin for little ones" he said smiling, he had no idea why people were scared of her. "Sam has 4th years following him too?" he chuckled and looked at the stairs, "another thing we have in common"

"Yeah Mel" he nodded, did everyone know this girl, "I didn't know who she was until today" he admitted.

Danika laughed. "Okay, so I actually don't know why we have titles! People fear me out of respect. They know what I can do, so they stay in line. Actually, the fact I'm a descendant of Slytherin probably helped in my title! Yeah Sam's got 4th years as well. Bella thinks it's funny. Sam told me she was going to give them the password to the Prefect's Bathroom so they could catch him in the shower. I don't know what she intended to achieve with that. Any girl who saw that wouldn't exactly run away," she laughed. "Sorry bout that," she muttered, realising he probably didn't want to hear that.

"She's one of Bella and Annie's friends. I've only spoke to her a bit. The only things we have in common are Quidditch and a need to be outdoors. But I'm sure she's great. And I'm sure she likes you. As I said before, what girl wouldn't."

"people fear you..." he still didn't get way, she was a really nice girl to him. "Ok, I've worked out people are weirdos" he said seriously and looked down at his hand which was bleeding, "you know how to heal things, can you heal this?" he asked holding his hand out to her. Punching that wall seemed stupider and stupider every second.

"Oh god! I really didn't need to know about their showering patterns" he said holding his mouth, "I'm going to puck if you keep going on about it!" Who did people constently tell him about Sam and what he saw? first Bella now Danika. He just nodded when she told about Mel again, he really had no idea. He only knew he liked her alot.

Danika smiled. "Yes, people fear me. I'm nice to people I want to be nice to. Like you, for example. I don't have any reason to not like you. People are wierdos. I won't deny that." She laughed. She looked down at his hand as he held it out to her. She took it in hers and lay her other upon his knuckles. "You know you really shouldn't punch walls. It leaves scars," she said, removing her hand from his, revealing unbroken skin again. She looked down at her own hands, at all the scars on her knuckles from the multiple times she'd punched walls, and not healed her wounds by magic.

"I'm sorry. I just had to keep going. Once I start, I can't stop. It's a curse!" she laughed. Turning serious, or Danika-serious, which wasn't really that serious compared to others, she studied him for a moment. "So, how much do you really like Mel? Like a little bit, like you like all those other girls? Or a lot, like I like Kelly?" she asked, turning her body so she was practically square to him.

"Right so never get in your bad books" he joked and looked down at his now healed hand, "thanks and you need to stop punching walls, it hurts" he said shaking his hand, it still stung heaps.

"If I liked her like I had liked other girls in the past I would have done something already" he said almost as seriously as her, "I like her a lot Dani, I don't know why, It's annoying, I'm not my arogant self when she's around"

"It's what we Slytherin's do, Alex. We hold in anger, have the cool, calm exterior, then it all blows! Punching walls, it hurts, but it helps. Maybe it's just not for your sensitive hands. Maybe you just need more practice. Maybe not in the Common Room though. I'd recommend the Room of Requirement. It puts up with me, I bet it would put up with you as well."

Dani listened to him, a smile on her face. "And that's a bad thing?" she asked. She leant over and gave him a hug. Then broke away, really quickly. She didn't hug people. That wasn't what Danika Peverell did. She smiled sheepishly at him and sat back. "I think you should tell her how you feel. It could work out better than you think. Hey, I took a risk with Kelly, and look at us. Okay, so we're not exactly stable, but hey, we're working on it!" She laughed.

"Yeah, you're right." he sighed and sat back, "I'll leave punching walls to you from now on" he laughed and looked at her being serious again and then hugging him. "Since when did you start hugging people? I think this slytherin is going soft" he joked. "I think Bella is telling her how I feel and after that I'll talk to her"

Danika laughed. "Alright then. Seems I won't have to share the walls!" She smiled and shook her head. "This Slytherin is definately going soft. Bad for my reputation!" she laughed. "You're leaving it to Bella to play Cupid. Oh Alex. You really do like her don't you?" Danika studied him for a moment, a smile on her face. He had changed. For the good.

"Yeap, you big old softy" he joked and put his arm around her shoulders. "But this conversation never leaves this room." he added in a serious tone but finished with a chuckle. "Bella loves playing cupid, had to give her a chance to do it and because she's friends with Mel helps to" he looked at her again and tilted his head to the side, "What'cha thinking?"

"Old! You're older than me!" Dani laughed, leaning into him, as he put his arm around her, nudging him softly. "Never leaves this room. Swear on my Mark," she said, touching her left forearm softly. She smiled as he spoke about Bella. "Yeah, funny really. I suppose, her being friends with Mel would help." She smiled softly as he tilted his head. "I'm just thinking, you look more mature when you talk about this. I've never seen you like you like this. It's refreshing." She patted his thigh softly, leaning back into the couch.

"Fine" he said smiling, "it never does young girl" he said in reply to her talking about her mark. "So what? I don't look mature when I'm not talking about her?" he asked with a fake hurt face. "You've never seen me like this?" great she's already changed me.

Danika laughed as he called her young girl. "You are very mature. But you look ... different. You look ... happy. Genuinely happy. But sort of conflicted at the same time. No, I've never seen you like this. You are always so sure. We are very much alike in that respect. When it comes to partners, we're so ... we just know what to do. I think, you like her a little more than you are letting on," she said slyly, winking.

"So I'm happy..." he said and started thinking about it. "I know I used to be but now I'm just confused" he said shooking his head. "I don't know ho much I like her Dani, can we just move on before I punch another wall?" he suggested and shrugged at the thought.

Danika looked at him, almost pitying him. "Oh Alex. You'll work it out. That brilliant mind of yours will help you sort through things. No punching anymore walls! What do you want to talk about?" she asked, grabbing his hands, making sure he didn't get up and punch the wall!
