The Slytherin common room is a low-ceilinged, dungeon-like room with greenish lamps and chairs, with skulls all around. It's location under the Lake gives it a musty, damp feeling, and a green tinge to the room.
You walk along the dungeon corridor to a blank expanse of wall. You approach a seemingly random patch of wall and mutter the password. An open doorway appears and you step into the Slytherin Common Room.
Once inside, you see a banner with the house motto, "Attendo thea Vipera". Just below the banner is the notice board. You look around a bit more and spy the doors which lead to the boys' and girls' dormitories, a large stone fireplace, and an assortment of comfortable-looking, leather, chairs.

Danika walked into the Slytherin Common Room and immediately felt at home. She was back and everyone would know it. She smiled as she looked at the Bulletin Board. She would definately be applying for Prefect this year. She took in her surroundings and smiled wider. She chose her favourite chair by the fire and summoned her Arithmancy book to her. She already knew it like the back of her hand. Professor Snape was teaching Arithmancy this year. She wanted to make her mother proud.

Danika decided she had read enough of her text book and could feel her eyes drooping. She was really tired. She closed her book and stretched. She stood up and smoothed her skirt over her legs. She picked up her book and walked over to the girls dorms.

Danika swung into the Common Room from the dorms, her vibrant hair still wet from her shower. She needed a rest, her Mark was prickling but she didn't want to go to Kildara. She would just tell her not to worry. Of course, she'd know if anything was wrong. She took in her surroundings and smiled. This was much nicer than her room at the hideout. She pulled her jumper sleeve further down her arm to hide her Mark. She slumped down on the couch by the fire, trying to get her aunt's letter out of her head.

Alex walked in to the common room, sat down on a chair and put his feet up on the table near him. He pulled out his wand and accioed a book from his dorm to come down stairs. after is detour downstairs he wasn't surprised Danika had beat him down here, "well hello there."

Danika looked up and smiled at Alex as he sat down. "Heya," she said happily. "How did I beat you back?" she asked, shrugging her shoulders ever so slightly.

Alexs face tightened, "run in to your favorite girl." he smirked and laughed at her, she could read minds but he was sure she didn't need it for this one. He lifted his book and read a page while he waited for her reply.

Danika laughed happily. "What a noob." she spat. "Good ol' Nathaniel. He's adorable." she said smiling. She liked Nathaniel. He was so cute, in a brother-sister sort of way.

Danika laughed. "Well, I'm really good at making trouble. And getting away with it. The new Headmistress is a good friend of mine. Hmm? What else do you want to know?" she asked, a smile on her face.

Danika laughed, pulling her hair around to look at it. "I didn't dye it. I was born with it." she laughed, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know why, and I don't really like it, but it makes me different. And I stick in people's minds. I could dye it, I just can't be bothered. I've gotten used to it."
