Kildara jumped slightly as Emilia spoke. She supposed she had to tell now. "Food makes me sick. I'm - uh - I'm pregnant," she sighed, patting her tummy protectively. She half smiled up at Emilia. She wasn't sure what everyone's reactions would be. She hoped no one would scream and be stupid.

Elizabeth smiled, she knew that the stomach pain thing was a lie. "Congratulations Kildara, we're so happy for you," she said. "When's he or she due?" she asked.

Kildara smiled. "Thanks love. Umm. Not for a while yet. About 5 months away." she said, trying to remember whether it was 5 months until the baby was born or she was 5 months along.

Kildara smiled. "I guess so." She shook her head. "Well, Danika knows of course, and I suppose she's told people. She's not the best secret keeper," she laughed.

Kildara jumped slightly as Emilia spoke. She supposed she had to tell now. "Food makes me sick. I'm - uh - I'm pregnant," she sighed, patting her tummy protectively. She half smiled up at Emilia. She wasn't sure what everyone's reactions would be. She hoped no one would scream and be stupid. Kaiia put down her fork. Just perfect. First those two talking about living happily ever after, and now Kildara was going to be waltzing around pregnant. A sudden surge of despair swept over her, remembering her three babies that had been destined never to be born; the pain of losing Damon; and so recently, Casimir's betrayal. She hadn't loved Casimir. To be brutally honest, she'd been with him simply because he reminded her of Damon so much. But it had still hurt when he casually informed her that he'd been sleeping with someone else, and requested her to remove herself not only from his quarters, but from Durmstrang entirely. Not that the last had been necessary - she wouldn't have stayed, to watch him fawning over his latest conquest. Kaiia had barely eaten half of her meal, but she pushed the plate away, got up, and left without a word. There was only one thing that would help now. She longed to feel the icy air rush past her wings as she soared into the night, to hear the terrified squeak of some tiny animal as she seized it in her talons, and feel the crunch of flesh and bone as her powerful beak ripped it apart. She didn't notice whether anyone had seen her leave; her mind was focused on the joys of the hunt so soon to come. |

Lucien had been quite tired from moving and arranging his office, but he was also hungry, he hadn't eaten for a while now. He quickly walked towards the Great Hall and knew he had to seat in the Staff table, he smiled wide when he spotted the Ravenclaw table, his table for seven years many years ago.
"Good day, ladies" he said, as he sat down on a seat by the corner of the table.

Kildara looked up. "Hi Lucien," she smiled. "How are you going? Setting up going well?" she asked, smiling happily. She had been rather hesitant on hiring Lucien to be honest. A rather attractive male teacher, and Danika's history, just didn't fit. But, as Danika seemed to have turned and was now with Kelly, she thought it wouldn't cause any harm. And anyway, a male would be a good relief in all this oestrogen.

"Hello Lucien," Elizabeth said, seeing another staff member walk up. She saw him look towards the Ravenclaw table and smiled, "Remember when we had to sit there?" she asked. "And we were always looking up to this table. Plotting on teachers and stuff. Now it's their turn."

He laughed at what Elizabeth said, "I know, it seems ages ago" he said, and couldn't help to chuckle at what he said next, "It makes me wonder what these kids might be plotting".

He laughed at what Elizabeth said, "I know, it seems ages ago" he said, and couldn't help to chuckle at what he said next, "It makes me wonder what these kids might be plotting". Kildara smiled, patting her stomach slightly. "Yeah I'm good. Except for the fact food makes me queasy. Well, I'm glad it's all going well," she said, smiling happily down the table at him. |

She heard Kildara and said, "Have you tried taking a pill before you eat? It's meant to help." Kildara nodded. "Yeah, it doesn't help. It makes me worse. It makes me throw up," she said, quite bluntly. Well, it did, so she stopped taking them. She'd rather feel queasy and keep her food down, then throw it all up again. |
