"Kia Ora!" We're A Long Way From Home

"I don't really want to take this much farther, I mean I really like you Andi but I just can't do anything else." Raven said as she got up off the bed then headed over to her suitcase and grabbed a tank top and a pair of short shorts then walked into the bathroom and got changed, taking the pins out of her hair and wiping off her makeup before coming back into the room and lieing down on the other bed.

Andi sighed with relief. "Good, I - I was going to say the same thing." She watched Raven get up and go into the bathroom again. She sighed, then crawled up onto her bed properly, sliding under the covers. Raven came back out and Andi smiled at her.

"For what it's worth... I'm really glad you told me..."

"Well, honestly I was scared to tell you; I thought you'd reject me like a lot of people have in the past." Raven said, turning her head slightly to look at Andi; things now could not get much better, she was feeling absolutely awesome right now. She shifted her position on the bed so that she was sitting upright on the side of the bed.

Andi smiled. "Well, I wouldn't have done it in a harsh way, I definitely care about you too much, even if I didn't like you like I do. There's no way I'd be able to be mean to you," she admitted. She watched Raven shift on her bed, then she slid out from beneath the blankets of her own bed and slipped under Raven's, cozying up to the other girl. She hugged her.
"We gotta like... keep it a secret though... especially while we're on holiday. I think my dad would freak."

"I know, it shouldn't be too difficult if we can manage to keep our hands and our lips away from each other while your parents are around. If my parents knew honestly, they'd want me to stop seeing you and I can't let them do that." Raven said as she kissed Andi on the cheek then ran her hand over the other girl's arm gently. She hoped that her parents didn't find out, since they didn't want their daughter to be with anyone but a pureblood

Andi chuckled. "Meh, shouldn't be too hard, right," she replied, smiling as Raven kissed her cheek and rubbed her arm. "Well, I think the rents have a big day planned for tomorrow. We should get some sleep, I guess." She leaned up to kiss Raven again.

"All it requires is some self control, which unfortunately I don't have much of." Raven said then laughed and kissed Andi back slightly before closing her eyes and eventually drifting off to sleep, she wondered exactly how well she'd fare tomorrow when she had to act somewhat normal around Andi's parents.

Andi laughed, then watched Raven fall asleep. She carefully slid off Raven's bed, and onto her own, deciding it was best to do that, just in case her parents decided to be annoying.

THE MORNING

Mr and Mrs Macmillon knocked on their daughter's door, before opening it. They saw Raven already awake. "Morning Raven," they both said, before they sat down on Andi's bed, trying to wake her up.

Andi awoke to shaking. "What!" she grumbled snappily. Her eyes fluttered open to see her parents and Raven already awake. "ugh... go away." She was having a good dream.
"Come on Andi. Get up kiddo... get dressed. You've got an hour." Her mother told her authoritively.
Andi grumbled her assent as her parents left the room. "Morning," she sighed to Raven.

"Morning..ugh I can see already that this is going to be a long day, I'd rather just stay here with you all day." Raven said with a slight groan when she saw the sun, she really didn't want to get out of bed but unfortunately that wasn't possible now; lieing in bed for another few minutes, she finally decided to get up then headed over to her suitcase and looked through clothes to figure out exactly what to wear.

Andi nodded. "Oh I know, I'm sharing that thought." The girl got up out of bed, pulling a dress and underwear out of her suitcase. "I'm dibsing shower first," she announced with a smile. "I'll be back." And with that, she disappeared intot he bathroom.

30 minutes later, she re emerged, her hair a nd make up done, and smoothing her dress over her hips. "Look okay?" she asked.

"Wow Andi, you look gorgeous." Raven said then kissed Andi on the cheek before heading into the bathroom and getting into the shower, she put on a purple t-shirt and black shorts then did her hair and makeup; finally emerging from the bathroom 20 minutes later. She headed back over to her suitcase then grabbed a pair of flip flops and put them on, looking down at her watch, she groaned slightly.

Andi grinned as Raven complimented her and then kissed her cheek. She went to sit on her bed, trying to decide what shoes to wear. She finally decided on a pair of roman sandals, just as Raven came out of the bathroom all done. Wowo... had she taken that long to decide on a pair of shoes?!
At that, there was a knock on the door, and Raven's parents entered. "Girls ready?" her mother asked.
Andi nodded, picking up her bag, making sure to remember to put the key in. "What's on the agenda?"
"It's a surprise!" her father excclaimed, beckoning them out of the room.
Andi groaned, taking Raven's hand and following her parents out of the room, locking the door behind them.

Raven sighed slightly as Andi took her hand and headed out of the room, she was having a hard time controlling herself since it was so tempting to kiss Andi but she couldn't exactly do that around Andi's parents. This is honestly already difficult for me..god I cannot wait for the day to be over so we can actually have some fun She whispered into the other girl's ear.

Andi chuckled softly as Raven whispered in her ear. The elevator ride down to the lobby was torture. Andi just wanted to kiss Raven, now she knew she could, but they couldn't with her parents. There was a car that Andi's parents had rented out front.
"Daddy, I'm hungry," Andi whined as she crawled into the backseat.
"Andi, baby, you can have something to eat when we get there," her father replied.
Andi grumbled something about 'child abuse' but other than that stayed quiet in the car. They pulled up, 20 minutes later, outside the Auckland Art Gallery. Andi sighed. She'd known this would all be about art. Why would it not be? New Zealand had some GREAT art, and her parents were artists... DAH! But... well Andi... well she just hoped there was food!
"Everybody out!" Andi's mum announced when they'd parked and the car had been turned off. Andi grumbled again and pulled herself out of the car and headed straight for the entry, trying to see if there was a cafe or something inside. THERE WAS! Her parents paid for them all to get in, then they went to the cafe for breakfast, sensing their daughter's dire need for food.
"What do you want Andi? Raven? Chose whatever you want." Andi's father told the girls.
"Uhm.... a full breakfast," Andi announced. "And an apple juice."

Raven rolled her eyes slightly when she noticed they were going to an art gallery, she was slightly interested in different mediums of art however she had no patience to stare at paintings all day long, she could feel her brain beginning to melt slowly and the day hadn't even truly started yet; her watch seemed to show exactly how slow time was actually going. Well, this is going to be a waste of a day; time cannot go faster now can it?

When she was asked what she wanted to eat, she shook herself out of her trance for the moment. "Oh umm..some toast and a coffee."
