Megan headed into the corridor and leaned against the wall, Hogwarts was much different compared to what she was used to back in Ireland but she would have to deal with the change here, at least she patched things up with Ceallach, for now.

Krysta was heading down to Caterina's office to tell her how her holidays had turned out when she bmped into someone hard.
"Ouch!" she cried in surprise. "Oh god, sorry. I was in a world of my own." she apologised. She smiled at the girl she'd crashed into rather sheepishly. She didn't recognise her, although she looked to be about the same age as herself.
"Are you alright?" she asked.

"I'll be alright" Megan said in her thick Irish brogue. She got up and looked at the girl who knocked her over, she figured that she was around the same age as she was. "The name's Megan O'Reilly, 6th year Hufflepuff transfer student" She said, extending her hand.

Krysta smiled broadly when she heard Megan's accent.
"Another Irish girl! Wonderful." she exclaimed. She loved the accent so much. "You didn't get kicked out too did you?" she asked with a laugh. "I'm Krysta Hedwig, Gryffindor. I'm 6th year too, we'll probably be in some classes together. She shook Megan's hand. "Another Irish girl transferred to Hogwarts just before the holidays. Ceallach, she's from Kildare. Where abouts are you form?" she asked, genuinely interested. She loved Ireland.

"Kilkenny to be exact, ah yes Ceallach, we used to be enemies, but now we are friends, sorta" Megan said, smirking. "No, I didn't get kicked out, but I just moved here the end of last term so, I haven't really met many people here yet" She replied to Krysta's question. She could sense something definately different about Krysta, but she couldn't figure out what.

Krysta laughed.
"I didn't realise you knew her. I can imagine her making a few enemies to be fair." she chuckled. "But I think she's more fun to be friends with than enemies." she added with a wry smile. "Most of the students here are pretty nice. There are a few bad apples, but that's true of any school." she told her.
"So you know what classes you're taking yet?" she asked, wondering if they shared any.

"I'm taking Astronomy, History of Magic, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and I'm thinking about taking Arithmancy but I'm not sure." Megan said, she wondered what Ceallach was taking just out of curiosity. She accent was become even more evident than before.

"Cool. Well we'll have Astronomy, History and Charms together. Watch out for Professor Blackthorn, she gives killer homework." Krysta warned her. "History's a bit boring, but Charms is good. Auror Training is good, you should check that out." she suggested. "Care of Magical Creatures should be good, my brother's the teacher." she said with a proud grin. "I don't take Arimthmancy, I just don't have a head for numbers." she shrugged.

"Thanks for the warning" Megan said with a smile. "I'll look into that then, it sounds pretty interesting" She said. It was nice that someone actually wanted to give her suggestions instead of telling her what to do for a change. "Your brother is the professor for Care of Magical Creatures, that's cool, well, I'm looking forward to that class then" She said, smiling.

Krysta smiled and nodded.
"Simon's great, and he really knows his stuff. He just loves animals. He used to run our dragon colony in Romania. He's only just come back to the UK." she told Megan. She was so happy to have Simon back and even more excited about having him so close here at Hogwarts.
"So, Megan, what do you like to do when you're not stalking the second floor?"she asked jokingly.

"I do like to drink, but I haven't had a good drink since I left Ireland. I love to write, sing and play guitar" Megan said, taking out her song book and looking over her songs, she had talent. But combining drinking while writing a song was never a good idea, she had an example of that.

"No kidding?!" Krysta exclaime, trying to peer at Megan's song book. "I like to sing too. But I'm too self-conscious to sing in front of people." she added bashfully. "I love music. My boyfriend is an amazing pianist. I tried to teach myself guitar once, but I didn't get very far." she laughed at the memory.
"Now as for drinking that shouldn't be a problem. I'll take you into Hogsmeade sometime if you like, get a few drinks at the Three Broomsticks. Drag some others down too if you ant, y'know get to know some of the other guys. They're a good bunch. Ceallach's always a good drinking partner, and Bella's lovely; you'd like her I think. And Danika's usually up for a drink. Do you know her too?"she asked. If Megan knew Ceallach there was a chance she knew Danika.

"I used to be like that, but, I don't really care anymore, I mean, I'm respected for my vocals, that's the way it was at my old school, oh you want to see my song book?" Megan asked, "Ah, yes I know Danika, I met her a while back, nice girl she is." She laughed once Krysta mentioned about Ceallach "Oh, I've heard about Ceallach and drinking" she said, and smirked. "Oh that would be cool to go drinking with you and a few other people. I have a limit to how much I drink, like I won't go overboard but I'll drink enough that I'll feel like sh*t in the morning so I don't have to go to class, oh that reminds me of a story, I went out drinking when I was in Kilkenny one night, and I got absolutely hammered, it was great, but I felt like absolute sh*t the next morning and I had to go to class with a hangover, and I had to make a speech, let's just say it didn't go very well" Megan said, laughing.

Krysta laughed loudly at the story, happily taking the song book from Megan and began skimming the lyrics she'd written in it.
"Well there's no such thing as a hangover if you're my friend. I make the most wonderful anti-hangover potion." she told Megan with a wicked grin. "Absolutely no side-effects, you'll be clear headed and full of life all day, guaranteed." Krysta said as though reading an commercial.
"Hey these are really good." said Krysta, impressed wth Megan's lyrics. "They're really deep and I love your use of language. It's clever." she elaborated. "You should sing one so I can hear the melody." she suggested.
