"Danika! It's good to see you again" Raven said with a smile. "I came back not even 2 weeks ago, I guess a lot happened while I was gone but I had to come back here, I realized leaving this school was one of my biggest mistakes. Course I realized that after my parents' funeral" She said. Well it was definately a surprise to see Danika again although they parted on quite interesting terms.

Sam shrugged. "Yeah. good point," he agreed. He gave the Headmistress and her date a curt nod, then set himself the task of getting drinks. He head Bella speak to Max and Annie, so he got 4 drinks. "Here guys," he said, handing them a glass. He gave Bella hers, pulling her to him. "Hmm. A toast," he glanced at Max, who winked. The were always on the same wavelength. "To really good looking girlfriends!" he chuckled, raising his glass, before downing half of it. "You do look very handsome by the way Max," he laughed. "And Annie, stunning as usual." He was feeling a lot more like himself now he was in here, with Bella.

Annie smiled and looked around the hall, it looked great. She snapped out of it when Max asked if she wanted a drink, "yeah, sure" she answered. She walked over with him with his arm around her waist until they stood near Bella and Sam. Max smiled. He reached the other two, and smiled. "Thanks Bella. You are looking beautiful," he commented. She always did. Not as good as Annie. He took his glass from Sam, grinning. "To very goodlooking girlfriends!" he mirrored, downing half his glass. "Why thank you Sam! You're looking dashing yourself," he chuckled. |

"Oh ok! Fair enough. I knew you would regret leaving," Danika said, shrugging her shoulders. "Oh. Umm," she said as Raven mentioned her parents funeral. Nice place to bring that up. "I'm sorry," she threw a look to Gabriella, who was making it look like she wasn't listening, while trying not to crack up at danika's obvious awkwardness. "So, you and Chris? You guys together?" she asked, giving Chris another smile, as she kicked Gabriella's leg softly behind her.

Bella smiled as Sam pulled her to him and took her drink gratefully. "Thanks," she said about to take a drink when he said a toast. She looked at Annie confused before smiling as she realised what he was toasting with Max. "Well if you're toasting us we better toast too," she said rasing her glass. "To amazing and extremely good looking boyfriends!" She looked at Sam and mouthed 'fiance' before drinking some of her drink. This was going to be amazing, she had her best friend and fiance with her and that was all she needed to have fun.

Annie smiled at Sam, "thanks" she said taking her drink from him. She looked at Bella, when they toasted, "I agree Bella" she smiled. "To amazing and extremely good looking boyfreinds!" she mirrored before taking a sip of her drink. She looked at Max and smiled brightly, tonight was going to be fun.

"I mean I like him but I'm not sure if I'm really wanting another relationship." Raven said softly, this was so awkward for her since she had remember she left telling Danika how she felt. Which was hard enough to deal with at the moment since she knew it would never happen, no matter what anyone said. Danika looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress, her thoughts started to trail off somewhere else and she remembered that she was here with Chris. |

Sam and Max laughed jovially together as the girls toasted them. They hadn't expected their thing to be reciprocated. Sam looked down at Bella, and hugged her closer, as he took another drink. "My beautiful fiancee," he murmured, kissing the top of her head. He had the best view when he looked down. But, he guessed, she would get annoyed if he never looked at her face!

He leant down and kissed her softly on her lips, around her mask as best he could. "You're beautiful," he murmured in her ear, before straightening back up again, and hugging her.

We'll see you guys around," she said, smiling, grabbing Gabbie's arm and pulling her pregnant friend away, so she could burst out laughing away from the subjects. |

"Mmmm that sounds nice," she said, smiling as the top of her head was kissed. She knew that Sam was probably looking and she sighed, shaking her head a little. "If I promise you can get a closer look later will you try paying more attention to my face right now?" she murmured reaching up and kissing his lips. Turning back to Annie she grinned seeing the blush on her cheeks. "Think there'll be other music than this?" she asked.

"I'm not sure he knows that. But, I won't lead him on, I'm not that stupid" Raven said with a smirk. "See you around." She said, and bit her lip, heading back to talk to Chris. Wait to go there Raven, was this a good idea even going to the ball? Well, its too late now, you're here with Chris. Just don't pay any attention to the fact that Danika's here without a date. She thought and wondered what to do now.

He chuckled, pushing her mask up a little to see her face. "Yep, definately my Isabella," he said, before pushing his own mask up, and kissing her properly. "Okay. I'll pay more attention to your face." He shrugged, grinning as he looked up to see Max shaking his head. At the mention of music, he looked out to the dancefloor, where there were already a few couples dancing, one, he noted with a grin, was Ceallach and a Gryffindor in his year, looking very cosy. Then he grinned again, pushing his mask down again. "May I have this dance?" he asked holding out his hand, his other one behind his back as he bowed a bit, like they do in the movies! |

Annie saw Maxs smile and felt his lips softly against hers. She felt his breath against her ear and she blushed slightly at his words, the way he said that word made it actually mean something. Max grinned, seeing Annie's blush seeping from under her mask. He watched Sam, and groaned. "The guy keeps stealing my moves!" he chuckled. He watched in disbelief as Sam asked Bella to dance, exactly how Max was going to do it. "Jeez. Now I feel inferior. I feel like I would be copying," he groaned, turning to Annie. "Do you want to dance?" he said, giving her a winning grin, hoping it was enough, seeing as his theatrics were stolen by his mate! |
