Sam watched her as she put the particularly large bit of cake in her mouth, smearing it all around her mouth. He let out a small bark of laughter and took the cake off her. She still had cake around her lips and he thought of kissing it off but, as Nathan was there, he refrained from doing it. Instead, he put a finger to her lips and softly wiped off the rest of the cake from her lips, putting his finger in his mouth and licking the icing off it.
"Mmm. Nice," he said, smiling softly.

"It's not funny," Bella said softly, though she knew it probably did look quite funny. "I was distracted by something," she told him as he got the icing off of her lips. She watched him lick it off and had to almost grip the sofa to stop herself from kissing him. They'd already grossed Annie out, she didnt really want to do the same with Nathan. "Yes it is," she said, "unfortunately I don't want anymore so you can have the rest. If you think you can eat it all."

"Distracted huh?" he smiled deviously. When he licked his finger, he saw her hand grip on the arm of the chair. If only Nathan wasn't there. The little dude didn't deserve having to put up with his and Bella's little lovey-dovey episodes.
"If I think I can eat it all? Are you serious? You're talking to me remember. The one that never seems to stop eating," he laughed, taking the cake up in his hands again and stuffing what was left of it in his mouth, swallowing hard and wiping the icing off his face.
"I told you I could eat it," he said, after he'd swallowed the ake.

"Yes by the thought of...homework," Bella said saying the first thing that came into her head. It was definitely nothing to do with her boyfriend sitting right next to her. She watched him stuff the whole cake into his mouth and looked away, "Ewww Sam that's just gross! You could at least take bites."
She shook her head and laughed as she realised he had swallowed it. "Yes, I didn't mean all at once though," she told him. "Now I definitely don't want any cake. Not for a while anyways."
She turned to Nathan and smiled, "A tip from a girl, never do that to impress someone. It won't work."

Sam laughed heartily. "Homework. Mmhmm. I believe you," he laughed. He laughed again when she reacted to him stuffing the whole slice in his mouth. "Well you should have been more specific then shouldn't you?" he laughed. "If you don't want anymore cake ever, then there will always be more for me now won't there?" he smiled at her as she turned to Nathan. He threw a wink to the younger boy as she spoke.

"And so you should," Bella replied laughing as well. "Not believing me means you have no trust in what I say." She rolled her eyes, "Details." When he mentioned no more cake ever she looked at him wide eyed and shook her head, "Who said anything about not having anymore cake ever? I just said I wouldn't want any for a while. I'll probably have some tomorrow or the day after, so unfortunately no, there won't be more for you." She stuck her tounge out at him and then laughed.

Sam bought down his fist onto his knee in mock annoyance. "Damn, and here I was think I was getting more cake. I should have known you weren't going to give up cake. That's like me giving up Quidditch," he laughed.

"Hey I can give up many things, but I can not give up cake. Not without a fight which if it's about cake, the other person will lose," Bella replied smirking. She heard him say that he probably couldn't give up Quidditch and a brilliant idea came to her. "Well I know I can give up cake longer then you can give up Quidditch that's for sure," she said smiling innocently.

"Oh I remember that," Bella said. "You yelled at everyone especially those with brooms in their hands, just because you couldn't go on one yourself." That was the only time she had been scared of him. "Oh well at least you know not to hurt yourself again, I don't think anyone wants to see you go beserk again," she said smiling.

"Wow. You remember that?" Sam asked, a smirk on his face. "Yeah, well, I got knocked off my broom. Stupid Slytherin Beaters. Gotta hate em. I think the nurse was being unreasonable. Three days! Seriously. All I had was mild concussion and a broken hand. I should have been able to get on my broom the next day. I was fine," he said, throwing his hands up in mock frustration. "Oh well. It's over and done now. I'll try to be more careful."

"Don't worry, ask Annie, I called you an arrogant jerk for a few weeks after it," Bella replied with a small smile. She stayed close to him for a few minutes before getting up from him. "Sorry guys but if I stay in here any longer my legs are going to not want to move for a while. Think I'm going to go and take a walk," she said brushing her fingertips on Sam's skin. "I will probably end up in the room of requirement drawing, so if anyone needs me that's where I'll be," she said to both of them before walking out of the portrait.

Sam's muscles tensed slightly as she ran her fingers over his skin. He nodded and watched her get up. He waited until she was out of the door before slumping back in the couch. "If anyone needs her? Seriously. I may as well follow her," he mumbled, a smile on his face. He turned his head to look at Nathan. "So, Nathan, any young ladies caught your eye yet?" he asked, a smirk settling on his handsome face.
