Right next time she'd ask someone to put a silencing charm on her before the lesson began. "What else will we be covering this term Professor?" she asked, trying to turn the subject away from her.

Andrew chuckled and whispered, "Now how have I known you all these years and not known that." He smiled and went back to fiddling with his quill. He looked at the professor and said, "Could we learn about Supernova's?" He had always found the concept rather interesting.

This time Kaiia did smile. "I'd be interested to see some of your alternative patterns, Miss Peters, if you'd like to share them." She glanced at the course outline on her desk. "I'm planning to cover the moon, the solar system, and stellar evolution - which will include supernovae," she said, nodding at Andrew. |

"Um alright Professor," Bella said. "I'll have to search for them although I know I brought them to school with me. Just incase I was able to do more star gazing." She heard Andrew and looked at him pointedly, "Well maybe you should pay more attention instead of falling asleep or mucking about." She smiled though so he knew she was joking.

Andrew smiled at the professor and smirked at Bella and said in a whisper, "Ahh...but falling asleep and mucking about are fun. You're just jealous that I can still get good grades at the same time." He grinned at her cheekily and began doodling on his parchment with his quill.

Sam was sitting behind Bella and Andrew absolutely seething. How could Andrew flirt with Bella right in front of him? What a pr*ck! Sam thought to himself. He was about to stand up and smack Andrew over the head when he felt Danika's hand on his arm. He looked over at her, saw she was shaking her head, and he slumped back into his chair, in a thoroughly bad mood.

Bella frowned and slapped him not too hard but not too gently either. "We'll see who's laughing when our NEWTs come our next year after I've been working non stop." It was true though, no matter what happened, Andrew always got almost exactly the same marks as she did. "You know I can ask Sam to beat you up don't you," she threatened. Even if he was her best friend, he still could be threatened.

Andrew frowned and laughed playfully, "Oi. Now what was that for. That kind of hurt. Don't make me tell my mum, she won't send you any more of those sugar quills." He smirked and said, "We'll see." He laughed, "Now why would you want to do that? If I got better than you? Not my fault I'm a natural." He glanced back at Sam, "Would you..." He was about to ask until he saw the look on Sam's face and turned back around, "What's eating him?"

"It was meant to hurt, hopefully it'll teach you to think that I'm jealous of you getting marks as good as I do," Bella said smirking. "And believe me your mum will still give me sugar quills, I'm basically another daughter to her." She frowned as Andrew asked what was wrong and she turned round to see Sam scowling. Immediately she raised an eyebrow, wondering what was wrong, then she realised what stuff may have looked like from his point of view. 'Love you' she mouthed to him before turning back round to Andrew. "You need to stop flirting with me," she said simply.

Andrew worked his jaw as he saw her mouth love you to Sam. Stupid git. Should have asked her out sooner. He frowned as his thoughts circled around that and he pushed harder on his quill. He looked at her with an eyebrow raised, "I need to..." he stopped himself. "What is lover boy jealous? Maybe he should become better at something other than Quiddtich." He clamped his jaw shut and turned from her muttering to himself. If only HE had been put in Ravenclaw.

She glared at him and pushed her lips together, biting back the many swear words she wanted to say. How dare he assume that Sam wasn't good at anything other then Quidditch. She watched him turn away and she said, "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you say that Andrew, but I'm not going to speak to you again until you can apologise." She then turned away from him, they hadn't argued like this before it felt really bad, but he had hurt her.

"Yes, well I'm not about to apologize when you can't even notice how...never mind." He trailed off and gritted his teeth as he swore to himself. He grabbed his books and bags and moved over a few seats away from Bella for the rest of the class. He was kicking himself for the slip he almost made and for the fact that he kept pushing her away. This is not how I wanted it. He sighed and began doodling on his parchment again.

Sam seemed to relax slightly after Bella turned and mouthed Love you, to him. He still kept a very close eye on Andrew, and was happy when he moved. She doesn't need your bloody mum to give her sugar quills. Especially not after this Christmas, he thought to himself. He usually got along alright with Andrew, unless Bella was concerned. Especially now he was going out with Bella. Andrew just couldn't deal he didn't get in first.

Kaiia pressed her lips together, smothering a grin. Even though she only retained part of her barn owl hearing when in human form, she could hear all their comments clearly, and found it very entertaining. She raised an eyebrow when Andrew switched seats, though.
"This is astronomy, not musical chairs, Mr McDougall! Do that again in class and you'll be moving all the way into the corridor." She hoped she wouldn't have to do that - the developing feud was far too interesting to throw one of the participants out of class.
She looked round the class. "So? Any more questions? Am I to assume you've all read the entire textbook and find no mysteries remain? Perhaps we should finish up with a quiz...?"
The horror on a few of the faces at this suggestion was comical, though most of them realized she was being sarcastic.

Bella smirked as Andrew was told off, served him right for talking about Sam like that anyways. She wouldn't be apologising to him either, she hadn't done anything wrong. As she heard the Professor ask about any other questions and then mention a quiz she smiled, not even this teacher would be that mean on the first lesson. She didn't have any questions, but she was definitely going to speak to her later.
