Prefect's Lounge

This is a vast, cavernous room. The luxurious couches are made of black velvet and are extremely comfy. The walls are adorned with pictures of past prefects, head boys and girls and banners. The School Banner, and the four House Banners adorn the walls.
This is a place Prefects and Captains can come to relax, take some time out, or do some homework away from teh chattering Common Rooms.

Danika was sitting in the Prefect's Lounge, enjoying how quiet it was to be somewhere by herself. She was just about to close her eyes, when a Patronus of some soft bust through the wall. A booming voice that sounded oddly like Professor Pettigrew told her to report to the Staff Room immediately. She groaned heavily and stood up, walking out of the room and down to the Staff Room.

Isabella walked into the Lounge and sat down, conjuring a hot chocolate from the kitchens with marshmallow, whipped cream, and chocolate flakes. It was one of those times when she didn't care about her figure or anything else. She needed to get Andrew out of her mind and was glad to see that he wasn't actually in here.

Gabriella walked into the Lounge, still examining her finger, her other hand on her stomach. She looked up and noticed Bella.
"Bella! Oh my god, I have some more news!" she said happily, sitting down to stop herself from jumping up and down.

Bella was just about to take a sip of her drink when Gabbie came in. Raising an eyebrow she quickly took a mouthful and swallowed before smiling at her. "Oh and what news would.. oh my god is that a ring!" she exclaimed noticing something shining on Gabbie's left hand. "Tell me everything!"

Gabriella nobbed, a massive smile on her face, lighting up her beautiful features. She held out her hand so Bella could see the ring. "Well, Tobias took me to Madame Puddifoot's, I thought it was just so talk more about the fact I'm pregnant. Than he proposed. I'm so happy," she said, shaking with happiness.

Bella looked at Gabbie in shock and awe. She took Gabbie's hand immediately and looked at it closely. "Gabs it's beautiful," she said softly admiring it. "It suits you hun. Tobias is a very lucky guy to have you." She looked up at Gabriella and her eyes widened. "You're pregnant?! Since when?! Why haven't you told me?!" She took a deep breathe and let it out slowly. "Gabbie Sanchez you better start talking right now."

Gabriella was still beaming. She felt so good. "Thanks Bella. I'm so happy. I love it." Her eyes widened as Bella asked about her being pregnant. "Oh my god! I thought I told you! I found out a few days ago. I'm so excited. Really nervous and scared, but excited. It's early stages yet, obviously, but it doesn't make me any less excited. And Toby was so good about it." She was trying very hard not to jump around in joy.

Isabella laughed and shook her head, "No hun you didn't, but congratulations!" She really was happy for her. "Well I'm here for you if you ever need me. I'm sure it'll be fine, and I sure hope Toby was good about it. It's not just your child, it's his as well." Looking at Gabbie, Bella could tell that she was really happy. "Come on just jump Gabs, it's the only way you're going to even start thinking about calming down."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Well, now you know!" she laughed. She clutched her stomach protectively and nodded. "Yeah, good point. He was fine. But he has this strange thing he won't tell me about. All he keeps saying is it won't carry to the baby. But it has me worried about him. But, at the moment, all I can think of is the ring on my finger and the baby growing in my stomach!" She laughed when Bella told her to jump. She stood up and started bouncing around, until she tired herself out, which didn't take very long. She slumped back on the couch and smiled. "There, now I'm calm!" she laughed.

There are NO guys here. was the first thing Rose Scarlett thought as she walked into the Prefect's Lounge for the first time. Well hopefully I can meet some guys in the common room on the grounds

Danika strolled into the Prefect's Lounge, needing some peace and quiet. She scowled when she saw, she wasn't going to get that. Gabriella looked as though she was about to burst, Bella looked almost as excited as Gabbie, and Rose looked, well Rose looked a little peaceful. She sighed and slumped onto the couch beside Rose.
"Hey Rose. How are you?" she asked, smiling softly.

"Oh, I'm fine, a little sad that the term's about to end though... and you?" Rose asked the purple haired 6th year. A very unusual hair color but it looked nice on Danika. It would look silly on Rose though and she smiled to herself as she imagined herself with multicolored hair. For now I'll stick with blonde. she thought. "It's very nice in the lounge." she added.

"Yeah I know. Bit sad, but it's only a month or so for Christmas, then we're back," Danika said, smiling encouragingly. "Yeah, it's nice in here. Quiet," Dani answered.

"Merlin knows we need it. The school can be SO loud." Rose said smiling. "And Chirstmas, I love Christmas. I wonder if Dan will come." she said, talking about her older brother who had a fall out with their parents. "What are you doing this holiday?"
