"Oh definately need it. Tiring this school business," Dani laughed. "Yeah Christmas is nice. Dan?" she asked. She was probably prying but hey, that's what she did. "I'm going to stay with Professor Snape, the Headmistress, and her fiancee, actually. She was my mother's best friend," Dani said. This was going to be her first Christmas without going to see her parents. This holiday was going to be hard.

"Cool, I like Professor Snape. I'm not too into the whole death eater thing. But I can go either way." She whispered most of that so no one would hear, then more loudly said. "Dan's my brother, he and my parents... disagree a lot. He graduated last year and I don't know if he'll come home."

Danika listened, her cheeks pinkening slightly. "Yeah well, everyone to their own," she said. "Oh okay. Your brother's Dan Scarlett, right? I'm surprised they disagree, I find, found, him very agreeable. Very laid back," she said. Maybe a little too laid back.

"That's his problem. My parent's don't like it. He doesn't like status. My parents find all his friends, except his pen pal Gabriel Serafin, unacceptable. But if he doesn't come it will tear my younger siblings apart, they love Dan." Rose said hugging a pillow.

"Oh ok. Doesn't like status? I live for status. Odd boy," Danika laughed. "Your brother has a pen pal! That's is so cute! Well, here's to hoping he shows then. Don't want to upset your siblings." Danika gave Rose a small, reassuring smile.

"Yeah, he's had a pen pal since he was 10." Rose giggled, that helped her feel much better. "The poor boy goes to school in Rome."
