Ellie smiled and for the first time felt heat rise to her face. If she had a mirror she would've seen that her face had turned red and actually blushed. "Andrew, I know we only just met, but I think I like you."

Andrew looked at Ellie and and smiled as he saw her blush. Her next words though grounded him to a halt. "Ellie...'' He wasn't going to play this same game he had with the others. He wanted to get to know her first, "I'd like to get to know you better."

Ellie looked at Andrew and smiled. "I know, I was just saying it." She said, trying to figure out why she said it in the first place. She let out a sigh and looked at him again. "Is there anything you want to know about me?"

Andrew smiled and laughed, "Hmm...do you play Quidditch?" He really didn't know what to talk to her about since his head had been so focused on not messing up things with Raven and staying friends with Bella.

Ellie shook her head. "Unfortunately, no. Though I do like to watch the sport. I take it you play?" She asked him as she started twisting a part of her hair. She wanted to play, but with everything going on, she didn't have the time to play.

Andrew nodded, "Yep, I'm the official slacker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team." He laughed and smirked, "Okay, well maybe not slacker. Just an exaggeration I guess but not according to the Captain...though that's going to change. Raven's getting a new broom that'll probably beat mine, we'll see. I'm trying to save up to get the same one." He gave her a wink and said, "Can't have you Slytherins beating us."

Ellie raised an eyebrow at Andrew. "Well, I think you should keep your old one, then again we can beat Gryffindor even if you have the same broom as Raven." She laughed, blushing slightly from his wink. "I'm sorry to break it to you Andrew, but Slytherin is and will always be the best Quidditch team." She smirked.

Andrew laughed, "So sure of that are you?" He smirked, "Oh, I'd have to disagree with you there. Gryffindor's team is pretty good this term." He looked at her and smiled, "So what are you interested in Ellie?"

"Yes I'm sure, we won before, we'll win again." She told him, watching him laugh and smirk. She looked at him when he asked her what her interests were. She looked at the floor again, not sure what to tell him. "Besides Quidditch? Nothing much." She said half truthfully. "I usually just go with the flow, though I do value all my friends."

Andrew smiled, "We'll see." He looked at her thoughtfully, "Nothing? Surely something has to interest you." He smiled at her, "And would I be considered a friend?"

Ellie shook her head and looked at him. "There is something that I do, but the thing is, I'm not that interesting in it." She said to him honestly. "It's something my parents have forced onto me." She looked at him and smiled. "Of course, at least I hope you want to be my friend."

Andrew looked at her, "Well what is it? Can't be that bad, my da's made me do some pretty crazy things in the attempt to instill in me things my brothers or sisters wouldn't take up." He smiled and nodded, "Of course I want to be your friend. Can never have too many and besides might come in handy one day when you need something."

Ellie cringed and looked at him, she was hoping that he wouldn't have said that. She looked around the hall before leaning into him. "The dark arts." She whispered and looked for his reaction, hoping this wouldn't ruin their friendship.

Andrew looked at her and down at the floor. Not another one... "Okay, well I stand corrected. Maybe it is as bad as some of the things my da makes me do." He looked at her and almost laughed at her eager expression to his reaction, "What? I'm not going to abandon you because you're a little...eccentric. Half the school is interested in that or the other side."

Ellie looked at Andrew, surprise on her face. "You...you don't mind that's apart of my life?" She asked him, hope filling inside her. She didn't know why he didn't just get up and leave her there alone.
