Andrew laughed, "Then you must have some touch because he threw water balloons down on my friend." He watched her pick up her things anyway and come over. He shook his head and closed his book, "No, I don't mind. My names Andrew by the way. Andrew McDougall."

Ellie smiled, something she barely ever smiled as she sat down next to him. "I'm Ellie Meyer." She said to him, noting how...No Ellie, you can't. "What book are you reading?" She asked him, trying to get her mind off of how cute he was.

Andrew smiled back at her noticing how pretty she was. "Nice to meet you Ellie." He looked down at the book in his hands, "Oh, something my mum gave me. It's called Twilight." He held the book to her for her to look out. "It's quite interesting actually and I'm not a big reader of muggle books."

Muggle? Ellie looked at the book, he didn't say muggle books. She took the book from him and flipped through the pages. "I'm not big with muggle things. Since when did muggles write books about vampires?" She asked him. "Sorry that made me sound stupid didn't it? I don't know anything about the muggle world."

Andrew looked at Ellie and shook his head. "I don't know much about it either but my mum gets these books from the neighbor and gives them to me to read. This is the only one so far that looked interesting." He smiled at Ellie, "Vampires and all, you know."

Ellie smiled at Andrew as she handed him back his book. "Sounds interesting, I'll have to look into it sometime." She said as she finally looked away from him and to the floor. "Sounds like your mother is lovely, happy family?" She asked looking back at him.

Andrew took his book back with a smile, "Yea...for the most part. I'm the youngest with two older brothers and two older sisters. You could imagine how that was." He laughed and stuck the book back in his bag. "You?"

Ellie nodding, forcing a smile on her face. "I'm an only child." She said softly. "My parents have tried to make me into someone I'm not." She said half honestly. She looked at him, he really was cute. She realized that she was actually staring and looked away. "Sorry, I'm staring, I just..." She took a deep breath and looked at him. "I never seen anyone better looking than you."

"Which I was an only child." Andrew listened to her and smiled. "It's all right. I..." He turned red as she said he was good looking, "Thanks. Umm..." He fiddled with the strap of his bag, "You're good looking yourself." He swallowed and turned away turning red again.

Ellie looked at him, she hated being an only child, she wanted a brother or sister, any type of sibling. She smiled at him when he told her that she was good looking and noticed he was blushing. She would to, only she had never blushed before in her life. "Thanks, but I'm not that good looking." 'At least that's what my parents have told me.' She said inside her head.

Ellie looked at Andrew before looking at the floor again. "My parents, they're not exactly the loving parents, not like your mother." She said softly, she didn't know why, but she felt like she should tell him this, even if she never told anyone about her family before.

Andrew looked at Ellie and grimaced, "Yes...well it's not all peaches and cream at my house." He looked at his hands and frowned, "But there isn't any hatred." He looked back up at her and smiled slightly, "Well, you're beautiful. No matter what your parents say."

Ellie looked at him sadly. "Guess not everyone gets the perfect happy life." She said and smiled when he told her she was beautiful. "You're the first one you has ever told me that." She said to him, wondering what it was that was atracting her to him, especially since they just met.
