The Lake

"Two years for me" she chuckled, she couldn't wait for her 7th year to be over, it would be so fun to leave this place and be allowed to move out of her grandparents house. "Dragons? They're cool but a little scary" she shuttered, dragons were big and breathed fire, people that worked for them were brave in her books. "I could never do that but you look braver than me" she chuckled andsat back leaning on her arms with her legs streched out.

Nathan tried to nod, a bit difficult doing so while his head was on the ground, "A lot can happen in one year, imagine two" he said, before adding his own years, "It's three for me, so, a lot more will happen, probably."

He place one hand over his eyes, so the sun wouldn't hurt them as he looked at her, "I don't know if I'm braver than you, but I do like them, I think they're kind of misunderstood creatures" and whoever thought that was clearly disturbed, how could they be misunderstood creatures? Either way, Nathan did like them, but he'd never thought of working with them until this conversation.

Danika looked up rom her thinking as another girl walked up, a Ravenclaw by the look of her. She gave her a small smile and nodded. "Hi Sapphire. I'm Danika Peverell, Slytherin Quidditch Captain. How are you?" she said, smiling at the girl.

sapphire smiled softly,"I'm well thank you, and your self?"said sapphire wile pushing her hair behind her ear, the wind blowing softly over her face.

Danika smiled. "Yeah, I'm ok. You're a Ravenclaw right?" she said, patting the ground next to her. "Pull up a bit of grass. No point in standing! What year are you?"

sapphire sat down next to danika and smiled."don't mind if i do,im in 5th year,what year are you in?"asked sapphire wile looking at danika's purple hair.

Danika smiled as Sapphire sat down. "I'm in sixth. 2 years left! I'm so happy. I can't wait to be rid of this place!" she said. She flicked a stray strand of her hair behind her shoulder. She smiled happily at Sapphire then looked out over the Lake.

sapphire noticed danika smiling."anythings better than back at my home,but i suppose this place isn't all it's cracked out to be either"laughed sapphire.she gazed at the lake and saw the sun's reflection shimmer across the water, then lent back onto her hands and smiled.

Danika laughed. "Yeah, I suppose. Well I actually don't have a home to go back to, but I really want to leave here. It's just so, restrictive. It makes me feel like I'm in jail or something." she said, still staring out over the Lake. Being outside was the only thing that kept her sane.

sapphire straightened up her robe, letting her hair fall down her back."well,I suppose you have a point there,at least the scenery is nice" sapphire laughed wile fidgeting with her necklace."what do u suppose you'd do once you left here?" asked sapphire

"Yeah, the scenery is really nice. I love it outside. I get claustrophobic in the castle." Danika said softly, not even turning to look at Sapphire as she spoke. "I dunno. Probably play Quidditch. I had a scout for the Tutshill Tornadoes, my favourite team, show some interest in me. Maybe I'll go play for them." she answered, shrugging her shoulders. "You thought about it?"

sapphire bit her bottom lip."i haven't really given it much thought,but i suppose anything to do with animals is ok, no matter what kind". sapphire smiled and started to twirl her hair around her finger."hopefully nothing that will eat me though" laughed sapphire.[glow=blue,2,300][/glow]

Danika laughed. "I'm not big on animals. Maybe you should go for a Ministry job, in Regulation of Magical Creatures or train for CoMC Professor?" she suggested.

sapphire smiled,"yeah i suppose, I'm not that big on being a teacher though,all i want to do is do something that I'd want to do" laughed sapphire as she shifted so she sat with her legs crossed.

"Fair enough. That's all you can do," Danika smiled. She hated doing things she didn't want to do, it was only logical to want to do something you like.
