Andrew didn't even look up from his drawing. He knew who it was. He shrugged, "If you want." He continued to draw the forest and the darkness that surrounded it.

Ellie raised an eyebrow, wondering what was wrong with Andrew. She decided not to ask him just yet as she sat down next to him and looked at the drawing. "That's really good, I like the darkness of it." She did perfer dark over light anyday.

Andrew looked up at Ellie curiously, "Yea, well it's kind of fitting." He went back down to his drawing but said, "What are you doing out here?"

Ellie looked at him, why did he say that, was he depressed? "Is everything..." She started but then he asked her what she was doing out there. "I came out to sit and work on a letter to my cousin in France." She told him looking at the parchment in her hand. "I love it out here because of the scent of the flowers." She looked at him, her curiousity running through her. "Are you alright Andrew?"

Andrew listened and made a mental note about her liking the flowers. He sighed at her question but wasn't surprised, "No, I'm not. Raven basically dumped me for another and I yelled at Bella when she didn't deserve it." He clenched his jaw and looked at her, "So no I'm not all right."

Ellie looked at Andrew sadly, though inside she was happy that he was single again. "I'm so sorry to hear that Andrew." She said. placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm here if you want to talk, I'll always be here for you."

Andrew glanced at Ellie and couldn't help but think if she really would be there always. The only person who had was Bella and he pretty much pushed her away with his outburst. He clenched his jaw and looked at Ellie, "How can you be so sure?"

Ellie looked at Andrew, worry and sympathy on her face. She moved her hand down to his own hand. "I don't ever want to leave you Andrew, I care too much about you to just let you go." She told him honestly.

Andrew saw the worry on his face and felt her hand move to his. He looked away forcing himself not to flinch. "Ellie..." He looked down at her hand on his, "It's too soon. I can't do this now." He moved his hand and went back to drawing.

Ellie looked at Andrew, confusion on her face before she realized he knew she liked him. "Andrew, I didn't mean like that, I mean, yeah, I want to be with you, but..." She didn't know what to say. "I'll wait, I can wait, but until then, I'm here for you as a friend, a really good friend."

Andrew looked out at the forest and then back at Ellie, "Thanks. Can we...change the subject?" He shifted over slightly so she could sit down.

She nodded to Andrew noticing him shifting over some. "So I took your advice, I joined the order." She told him quietly, making sure no one was in ear distance.

Ellie nodded and looked at Andrew straight in the eyes as she played with a strand of her hair. "I did, I'm not sure if the Lady trusts me as a DE anymore, but what can I do, I know how to block my mind so it should work out."

Andrew caught Ellie's gaze and watched as she played with her hair. He nodded, "You'll just have to show her by doing. It should all work out." He fiddled with his quill, "What'll happen if...well you know."
