Ceallach listened to Krysta as she tried to describe the feeling she had. At the mention of Danika, the prisoner sighed. "Our Danika's losing her mind. I saw her last week before they put me in isolation, they let me go out into the other bit for a supervised walk, or I'm going to end up all slouched because my cell roof's not high enough for me to stand upright properly in..." Downfall of being on the taller side of average. "She can hardly remember her own name. That regret is taking away her sanity."
Krysta's next words kind of shocked her. "I'm holding up fine. I can hardly stand up in my cell, and as the tiger my ears brush the roof. In isolation I get claustrophic, but at least I can stand up. It's a tall room, skinny, like a tower room. As the tiger I hardly fit, the rooms just wider than I am long.. So... yeah I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
"How's your baby? Girl or boy?"

Krysta closed her eyes as Ceal described Danika's descent in madness. She released a deep sigh. Danika was not built to survive this place. "Is there anything I could do for her do you think? Maybe I could protect her mind somehow. This place is going to kill her and whatever she did, she doesn't deserve to die."
As Ceal began talking about her cells Krys raised an eyebrow. She partly wanted to say it was no more than she deserved, but the idea of being permanently claustrophic made her skin crawl. She had to stop herself from an involuntary shiver. When Ceal asked about the baby it was a welcome change of subject. "Oh. A girl. Her name's Kye." a smile broke across her face before she could stop it. "And she's fine. At least she was when I last saw her. I had to leave her with Sebastian." she said, her voice becoming quiet.

Ceallach shrugged. "She's weak, and the weak don't survive this place. Mind you, it's not built for people to survive their sentences at all." She sighed, realising she sounded a bit like a spiteful b***h. "I don't know what you could do. You'd probably have to visit her, I suppose and see for yourself. She's in Max security, but at least she doesn't have Dementors outside her door 24/7. She would have been dead within a month in my cell," she mused.
As Krysta spoke about her daughter, Ceallach smiled as well. "I bet she's absolutely gorgeous. With you and Sebastian as parents, there's no way she couldn't be." When Krys said she'd had to leave Kye behind, Ceal sighed again. "Being Chosen and having responsibilty's a b***h huh," she said with a mixture of empathy and scorn. "You'll do anything to fulfil it... even leave your family behind..."

Krysta was still musing over the predicament of Danika. She wasn't sure if she should visit her or not. Would she be able to do anything? Maybe some kind of emotional shield would protect her, but she would run the risk of losing herself completely. People cut off from their emotions often became cut off from their personality altogether and became empty shadows. It may not be worth the risk.
She snapped out of her musings however at Ceal's last sentence. It hit a nerve; a very raw nerve. "What the f**k would you know?" she suddenly snapped. The fury flashed through her like wildfire. The hypocrisy of the killer who sat before her igniting the beast. "I do have a calling. I can't ignore it. It won't let me. I'm the only one left. Do you think I like it? Do you think I would leave my family behind if I had a choice?" she hissed at her.
The truth was she and Sebastian had had this same conversation over and over in the past few months. It had been the spark of many an argument.

Ceallach sighed as Krysta snapped and started yelling at her. When the other girl was finished, she raised an eyebrow in an 'are you finished' gesture. "Do you really think I would have killed Iason if I'd had a choice? Sure, I didn't have a calling like you do, but I had a responsibility to avenge my parents." She'd never been close with her parents anyway, but their death had hit her hard. "You might think of me, as nothing more than a cold blooded killer... I did kill my brother after all, and yes, I did find some pleasure in watching Megan suffer and putting everyone out of their misery when I AKed her. But I didn't do anything the other side didn't do... So don't you dare judge me, Krysta, in all your mock rightousness."

Krysta's blood was starting to heat up and she battled the panther and her own magic. "I kill demons because it's my job. I have never taken a human life, nor would I unless it was to protect someone else. I kill to protect people not out of vengeance. So don't think you can compare yourself to me. We are nothing alike. You got me, 'friend'?"
She stood up quickly. "It was a mistake to come here. I guess we're more different than I realised."

Ceallach sighed and listened as Krysta started drilling into her. "Before you judge me even more, just know that I chose a side, just like you did. I only chose that side because the Order killed my parents. And, Kildara showed me attention, where as Black didn't. She didn't see what I was capable of, what I could do for her. She just ordered the murder of my parents as traitors. Does that sound like the 'good side' to you?"
She shrugged. "Well maybe we are different. But we're the same in so many ways, and you can't deny that, Krys. You were my first friend at Hogwarts, and I'll never forget that. I hope you won't either..."

Krys just stared at Ceallach as she defended herself. She was frowning, but she couldn't help seeing her point. Finally she sat down again and placed her hand on the table, clasped together. "I cannot condone Selina's orders. You don't just kill deatheaters. You send them to Azkaban." she said, gesturing to the room around her. "The Order of The Phoenix is not the law. Albus Dumbledore set it up to protect the people from Voldemort. We are not judge and jury. Selina forgot herself." she said, expressing for the first time her true feelings about the actions of the Order's old leader. She looked up at Ceal, her expression slightly softer. "I cannot condone vengeance. But I understand why you did it. I still can't say I understand why you would choose Dara, even if Selina let you down. But it's in the past now." she finally relented. "Now do you want that whiskey or not?" she asked with a grin.

Ceallach nodded. "I want you to know... I do regret killing Iason. I miss him... everyday... Just so's you know," she admitted. She hadn't even admitted that to herself, let alone to someone else. When Krysta announced it was in the past and asked her if she did want some whiskey. She chuckled. "If you still want to give me some, yes, I would love some," she replied, still chuckling slightly.
*sorry it's short... I can't seem to think lol*

Krysta smiled slightly when Ceal admitted to missing her brother. "The great and notorious Ceallach O'Raghhallaigh admitting to a regret? Surely not. Should I notify the Prophet?" she joked gently as she made two whiskey glasses appear just by her sheer will. Her powers were growing all the time. She sent one amber-filled glass over to her friend and winked. "It's nice to hear you still have a human heart. Maybe there's hope for you yet." she said with a grin holding her glass out for a toast.

Ceallach tried a chuckle as Krysta joked about informing the Prophet of Ceallach's apparent regret and humanity. She sighed and slipped her hand out of the bonds trying to keep her attached tot he chair, picking up the whiskey filled glass, raising it in response to Krys' silent toast and downed 3/4 of it in one gulp. "Krys, don't hold your breath on that one," she murmured sadly. "I would like to think there is, but every day in here makes me think that ... well I - I don't know..."

Krysta's grin became softer and she leaned forward slightly. "I think that's the whole idea. To drain the hope out of you." she commented, nodded towards the dark shadow that drifted past the door. She fought the shiver and glared towards the dementor as it drifted away on the other side of the door. Demenotrs generally avoided Krysta. She wasn't sure why. But that didn't mean she didn't feel the effects of them just as anyone else would. The chill eased off as the dementor got further away.

Ceallach nodded. "Yeah, I know... " she replied about the Dementors and the purpose of the place. "It's ust a little disconcerting. I - I don't want to lose my mind... I like my mind... Even with everyone elses in it..."

Krys couldn't help a hearty laugh at Ceal's last comment. "Well if it's any consolation I like your mind too. And speaking as someone who's been inside it, I feel qualified to comment." she said with a grin. She shivered as he body started to warm up. "Bloody things." she muttered in regard to the Dementor. She idly wondered if it would be worth talking to Danika. Though from what Ceal had said she probably wasn't up to much conversation anyway. She took another mouthful of whiskey and shivered again as it warmed her throat.

Ceallach laughed as Krysta commented on her mind. It was nice to know someone thought she wasn't all bad. Ceallach too shivered as a Dementor passed by the door to the room. "I hear you," she murmured. "Try having three of them outside your room 24/7."
Krys looked lost in thought. Ceallach tilted her head to the side slightly, studying her friend. "Penny for your thoughts?" she asked. Krysta was always locked off to her. Sometimes things slipped through, or like now it was muffled and blurred and she couldn't make any sense of it.
