Krys couldn't help a slight smirk as she watched Ceal struggle to tuck her hair behind her ear. It had been a rather stupid request, and she had to cover her mouth to hide her amusement from the guards. "I can help you, Ceal, but you've got to do something for me in return. I can get you moved to a bigger cell. Better food. Make the guards back off a bit." She paused to gauge Ceallach's reaction, hoping she had her interest.

Ceallach sighed, hearing Krysta's offer in her head. A thin brown eyebrow raised slightly at the words. A look of disbelief entered her features. How in the world would Krys be able to do that. As soon as the older girl disappeared they'd be back on her. What was the point? There wasn't one.
She couldn't react properly. She wanted to yell, scream, do whatever she couldn't. Instead, she merely muttered a quiet, "Yeah, right."

Krysta should have expected Ceal's pessimistic response. It was understandable. "In case you hadn't noticed the Dementors are terrified of me. And besides...there are still some people in the Ministry who remember who I am. Or who I used to be anyway. Let's just say they owed my Mother a favour. But that's all irrelevant if you're not interested." She slowly folder her arms and settled as comfortably as she could in the metal chair. With a small flick of her finger a glass appeared on the table between them, filled with a dark golden brown liquid. The guard stared at it for a moment in surprise then turned furiously towards Krys with his wand drawn. She stared at him with one eyebrow raised. With another flick of her finger his angry sneer turned into a blank gaze and he smiled with a gentle nod and stepped back against the wall.
"Did I mention that since I became pregnant my powers are stronger?" she asked out loud, looking down at her belly thoughtfully. "I think perhaps I'm channeling the baby's magic." she added then smiled at Ceal. Ceal's bonds fell away from her wrists, leaving her hands free. "Why don't you have a drink whilst you think about it." she suggested.

Ceallach hoped this worked. Her powers had somewhat diminished since she'd been in here, but there was no hard in trying to reciprocate the mind game. Concentrating, trying to push words into another person's head was never something she'd had to think about. It was slightly annoying.
"You never told me what it is I'm supposed to be interested in..."
Damn she hoped that went through. From her end it had sounded weak, like an echo rather than the strong words Krysta was managing. Then suddenly, her bands were gone and the guards didn't say a thing. Ceal eyed the glass on the table. "Aren't you lucky then..." The last thing the world needed was a stronger Krysta. That was a scary thing to think of.
"How do I know you haven't like put anything in that drink... I'm not stupid you know..." She was even more suspicious than she used to be. It was probably irrational, seeing as Krysta wanted something from her, and despite what Ceallach had done, she was sure Krys still kind of thought of her as a friend. Ceallach did... albeit a very dangerous friend, for someone in Ceallach's situation.

****************** 6 MONTHS LATER******************
Krysta stepped into the visitors room and nodded to the guard who grimmaced and closed the door behind her. Krys ignored him and walked over to the table and two chairs that, just a few months ago, she and Ceallach had been conversing over. So much had changed in that time. She wondered how Ceal must have changed also. She couldn't imagine what 6 months in this place would do to someone.
She walked slowly around the table, tracing the dusty surface of it with the tip of one finger. No one had visited this room in a long time. Finally she took a seat in the chair facing the door and waited.

Having just spent a seven days in isolation, and primarily in her tiger form, Ceallach was actually finding it hard to walk. As the tiger, she couldn't move around, pretty much at all, in the cell, so her legs were feeling kind of dead. Other than that, she looked fine, especially considering her long stint in solitary confinement.
She was helped into the visitor's room and into a chair then strapped in. She looked up and saw Krysta. She hid a smile until the guards left them alone. No one would stay in the room with Krys... Even though she didn't seem to be radiating as much power as she had been last time.
"Hello, Krysta," she said with a smile. "What can I do for you today?"

Krysta also kept a smooth expression as her old friend was led into the room and strapped to the chair. She just stared straight at the prisoner with an empty gaze, giving nothing away, either to the guards or to Ceallach. Finally as the guards left, giving her a wide berth, she let her face relax. She didn't smile yet, however. She held Ceal's gaze as she spoke and then chuckled slightly. "Well...that depends really. Maybe nothing at all. Or maybe you can point me in the right direction. I'm not sure yet." she replied in a soft voice.
She smiled gently. "How are you Ceal?" she asked.

Ceallach just continued to smile at Krysta as she was silent, then spoke. When the other woman smiled, Ceal's widened slightly. "Oh, I'm fine... Just don't tell the guards or they'll put me in isolation for another week," she replied with a small chuckle. She leaned forward so she could lower her voice enough that no one would hear her. "The tiger's keeping me sane.
"So anyway... why are you here?"

Krys smiled slightly, though her eyes stayed serious. She knew the comfort of being able to become a wild beast whenever she wanted and how freeing it could be. Krysta leant forward when she was dealt the abrupt question. "Can't a girl visit an old friend just because she misses her?" she asked with a slightly sarcastic hint to her tone. She smiled properly then and clasped her hands together on the table. "Ok, I'll cut the crap. I'm not sure why I'm here. I was wondering if you could help me work that out. Something has brought me back to England. I don't know what and I don't know why. But something has drawn me here and I was wondering if you have an injkling as to what it might be." She explained in a friendly, but firm manner.

Ceallach raised an incredulous eyebrow as Krysta spoke. Then she laughed as her old friend continued, voicing Ceallach's thought. "I have no idea. I don't hear much in here," she said, not entirely telling the truth, and she knew Krys would know that. "Okay, so I hear a lot, but nothing about anything that's going on. I don't tend to focus on other people's minds too much. Insanity is not a road I want to go down too quickly, thank you very much."

Krysta listened to Ceal's answer and her heart sank a little with disappointment. "Ah well. It was a long shot anyway. My connections to the bad guys obviously aren't what they used to be. No offence." she commented with a slight grin. "So how was the whisky I left you? Or did you decide it was poison after all and ignore it?" she asked with a wink. "If however you gulped it down like the Irish rogue you are, I'll happily re-fill it." she added.

Ceallach laughed as Krysta spoke about her connection to the 'bad guys'. "None taken," she replied. She smiled. "No, I drunk it... I'm not slowly dying am I? You didn't actually poison it did you?" she asked. Dying actually wouldn't be so bad in here. It was soooooo incredibly boring!

Krys couldn't help a chuckle at Ceal's dry sarcasm. "100% Ireland's best I swear." she replied holding out her hands innocently. "Would you like a refill?" she asked with a slightly crooked smirk. How Ceal ghad managed on one hip-flask of Whiskey she didn't know. Even if it was charmed to hold a full 2 litres.
She sighed slightly and wondered how much she should tell Ceallach about the last few months. Ok Ceal was her friend but she didn't exactly trust her. She had betrayed them all after all. And didn't show much regret about it either.

As Krysta laughed, Ceallach smiled. She was getting odd vibes off her old friend. Untrusting betrayed vibes. Krysta's block on her brain had always been good, but every now and again something slipped through. Nothing really usable, generally just feelings.
"Krys, are you going to tell me why you're here? I can't tell anybody wha's going on... no one else comes to visit...."

Krysta shrugged. "Honestly, it's just as I said. Something is happening or is about to. I have no idea what or who is behind it. All I know is I'm needed here. It's all part of the "calling" thing. It's quite literally a calling. I go where I'm needed. I just have no idea why. I knew it was a long-shot coming here, but I had to start somewhere. I thought about asking Danika, but something tells me she doesn't know anything either. I was at her trial. She was filled with regret. I doubt she'd be mixed up in anything." She sighed and leant back in her chair. "I think a part of me also wanted to see you. To see how you were holding up." she added, not looking at Ceal.
