"Kia Ora!" We're A Long Way From Home

"It's alright, I didn't want to disturb you there anyways." Raven said with a slight shrug as she continued walking around until she saw a piece that reminded her of the rolling grasslands of home. Maybe being in an art gallery actually wasn't so bad, not when there was at least something that truly caught her whole attention.

Andi sighed, and jogged after her friend as she took off again. She caught up and slipped her hand into Raven's, smiling up at her. Then, something caught the other girl's attention and she stopped. andi looked at the painting.
"That's pretty."

"It is, but its not as pretty as you are." Raven said then lifted Andi's hand and placed a kiss on it as she studied the details in the painting, it seemed like it was a photograph rather than a painting and that always interested her; it took a lot of talent to make something look that incredible.

"Suck up," Andi teased as Raven spoke and kissed her hand. That was cute. She looked around, then reched up to feel the painting. Usually, the paintings weren't behind glass, because texture was a big part of art, and thankfully, this one wasn't. "Wow... It's surprisingly rough, for how smooth the picture is."

"I can't just get away with being honest now can I?" Raven said with a slight roll of her eyes then smirked, she raised her eyebrow slightly as Andi touched the painting then frowned when she heard the painting was rough. "That's odd, but I've seen it before, its just due to the many details on the painting."

Andi realised straight away this relationship was going to be a VERY hard one. They were completely different people. Raven was dark and serious, and Andi was bubbly and crazy. And, it would seem that Raven didn't like Andi touching the paintings. "Textures a very important part of art, just ass important as the actual design and visaul elements," she murmured, asif she was explaining why she needed to touch. "Yeah, pretty amazing though, huh."

"Well thank you for the lovely explanation there, I didn't know I was hanging around an art teacher." Raven said with a slight chuckle, then immediately felt as though she had said something wrong earlier; she wanted to make this relationship work but it wasn't going to be easy considering she had the tendancy to say the most inappropriate things at the wrong time.

"Mmhm," Andi replied. "Better remember from now on." She hoped desperately that Raven picked up on the joking tone. This was going to be hard work! "Come on, let's go try and find my parents."

"Oh I will." Raven said then laughed, she knew Andi was kidding although it didn't exactly sound as such; places like this seemed to bring out her more serious nature which was quite a pain to deal with, she hoped that she wasn't making things difficult for Andi. "Alright, you may as well lead considering I have no clue where I'm going."

Andi smiled, then kissed as far up Raven's arm as she could get (near her shoulder) before they began walking again, looking for Andi's parents. When she found them, she tried a smile. "Guys... can we go? Like... do something fun?" she asked.
"Like what? Andi, you think Art Galleries are great!"
"Yeah well, after those sculptures, the rest of the place is a drag."
"Fair enough. Anything you wanna see Raven?" her mother asked.

"I think we might need to have a little art lesson later on, behind closed doors." Raven said softly with a smirk so that Andi could only hear what she was saying, she sighed in relief when she found out that they were leaving the gallery; finally after what seemed like days wandering around this place, although it hadn't all been bad. When Andi's mom asked if she wanted to see anything, she had to think for a second. "Hmm, I don't think so, I wouldn't mind going back to the hotel room, I'm actually not feeling that great."

Andi's mother nodded. "Okay, we'll drop you girls off, okay."
They all walked back to the car, and drove back to the hotel. The girls got out and turned to say goodbye to Andi's parents.
"We'll be having dinner at 7 again. Okay? We'll see you girls then. Don't get into any trouble!"
"Yes mum, dad. See you tonight." They watched the car drive off. "Let's go," Andi said, leading the way to the elevator.

Raven frowned slightly as she followed Andi, had she made her friend mad after that? "You know, I only did that so we could be alone." she said as she put her hands into her pockets and sighed slightly, this definitely was confusing to her.

Andi nodded. "I know," she replied, stepping into the lift. They rode it to their floor, then walked to their room. Andi opened the door and pushed it open, and went to sit on a chair on the balcony.
"Rave!" she called out. "I'm sorry, I'm probably not going to be much fun at the moment."

She hated, with a passion, being bought out of her art indused dazes like she had been today. It makes her feel funny. Makes herr feel disorientated for ages afterwards.

Raven sighed slightly as she headed back into the room then took off her flip flops and lied down on the bed, she turned her head slightly when she heard Andi talking. "It's alright, if you need me I'll be lieing here." she said as she rolled over and closed her eyes. She wasn't exactly tired but a nap wasn't a bad idea at the time since it had been a mentally exhausting day for her.

She opened her eyes a few minutes later then got up and headed over to her suitcase, taking out her diary and a pen; she tossed herself back onto the bed and opened the diary to a new page then began writing.

Dear Diary,

I guess you could say that being with Andi is both amazing and confusing at the same time; I mean honestly she's everything that I could possibly want in a girlfriend, she's smart, funny, totally understanding, slightly crazy and to top it all off she's drop dead gorgeous.

However I seem to to be doing all the wrong things now which makes her irritated with me and I don't know exactly what I'm doing or how to fix it. I want things to just be all okay but I can't exactly see that happening anytime soon.

Hopefully I can figure it all out soon before I end up royally screwing up this relationship.
