Kildara sighed, sitting down at her desk. Her plans layed out in front of her. She sighed again, looking at them. They all seemed so far fetched. She needed more help. What she had just didn't seem t be enough. Sure, she could probably get rid of everything herself. But still, knowing you had support was nice. It was ... supporting, for want of a better word. She sihed again, sitting back in her chair, her hand resting on her belly. She didn't know why she was still doing that. Or rather, why she'd started again.

Caeleb walked straight to the office the moment he got back to school. He hadn't even been to the Common Room yet. There were much more important things to be doing than school work right now. He almost waked in without knocking. He was becoming too familiar, too comfortable with the relationship and had to remind himself that he was still a student and she was still the Headmistress. He took a breath to re-compose himself. Then he knocked.

Kildara looked up, not even bothering to sit up in her chair, nor remove her hand from her stomach. "Come in!" she called out. When she saw Caeleb, she smiled, still not moving. "What's up?" she asked him. She was so tired. Usually she would get up and sit on the desk in front of him. To be honest, she didn't feel to well.

Caeleb smiled when he opened the door. The smile faltered when he saw her though. She wasn't fooling him with that thin excuse for a smile. Even her usually composed body language gave her away. He walked silently over to the chair in front of her desk and sat down on the edge of it, his back straight and upright. "What's wrong?" he asked calmly.

Kildara sighed as Caeleb realised the difference in her. He asked what was wrong, and she shook her head. "Nothing, Caeleb. I just don't feel well," she said, sitting up straight, then getting up and walking around her desk. She walked up to him, giving him a kiss on the lips, her arms around his neck. "What's up?" she asked again.

He watched he curiously as she rebuffed his question. She wasn't fooling him, but he decided not to push it. If she wanted to talk it, she would. He kept his eyes on her face as she walked around to him and slipped his hands around her slender waist as she leaned down to kiss him. It had been too long since their last kiss and her lips were sweet and soft. He pulled her onto his lap, whether she liked it or not. "Well I wish this was a social call, but I'm afraid not. We have a problem. Kelly Black." he explained sternly.

Kildara sighed softly as he kissed her back. She could kiss him all day. Everyday. It had been too long since they were together. She missed him. As he pulled her down onto his lap, she gasped, but settled herself down against him. She'd got herself comfortable, resting her head on his shoulder, her forehead nestled against his neck, when he spoke. She groaned. "Yes, I know she's back," she muttered, not moving. "What happened?" she asked. Even as tired as this she picked up on things, and she knew something had happened.

Caeleb frowned at her question and chewed his lip for a moment. "Honestly?" he asked. "I'm not sure." he said in a defeated tone. One minute I'm in the Ballroom last term and the next my wrist is burning in pain." he began holding his wrist up for Dara to see. He glared at the wolf mark angrily. "She thinks shes some kind of Lord Voldemort or something, I don't know. Like this is some kind of Dark Mark. I got this image of the Shrieking Shack in my head so I went there to see what she wanted..." here he trailed off with another frown. It had been such a strange encounter and he still didn't know what to make of it. He didn't exactly want to tell Dara everything, certainly not about the odd soft spot he now had for Kelly. "She's insane, Dara. Shes completely lost it. One minute she's all strong and firm and decided, the next she goes all cryptic and mental." he explained wafting his hand in the air dramatically. "And then she's close to tears." he added. "She killed Tyler. She killed Emilia's family...though I guess you know that by now." he conceded, looking at Dara's face questioningly. He sighed deeply. "I get the impression they're just the beginning. This is getting out of control." he concluded and waited for her response patiently.

Dara listened to Caeleb's recount, and she looked at his wrist as he held it up. When he mentioned Kelly being like Lord Voldemort, she snorted. That child, not matter how good she thought she was, would never match up to the Dark Lord. She didn't really notice him trailing off. To be entirely honest, she was falling asleep, curled up against him. She was still listening, and she was taking in every word, but she was slowly slipping away. He said her name and her eyes opened, then closed again. When he moved his hand, she made a noise of dissent, took his hand and put it back around her waist. "Tyson," she corrected tiredly. She nodded. "Yeah, Emilia and Kit came to talk to me after the Ball about it." He'd stopped talking, and he was looking down at her. She sighed, pushing herself up, so she was sitting up slightly straighter. "Umm," she started. "To be entirely honest, we can't do much but keep an eye on her. Make sure no one else dies by her hand. I told Danika Tyson was dead, and she almost stormed out of the house to find Kelly herself." She sighed, slumping back against him. "I don't know!" she half wailed quietly.

He could feel her slipping away. What had made her so tired? He wanted to ask her if she was alright, but she began speaking so he remained silent to listen. He shok his head an shrugged when she corrected him abut the boy's name. He didn't even know Tyler...Tyson, whatever. He just knew that the boy had been Danika's latest squeeze. He nodded reluctantly at Dara's flippant attitude towards Kelly. He didn't think it should be taken so lightly. Keeping "an eye on her" wasn't going to do the slightest bit of good in his opinion. If Kelly wanted to kill someone else she would, and it could be anyone: Emilia, Krysta, maybe even Dara. No! No Dara. He scowled to himself. He was sure Krysta or Serena weren't being to casual about Kelly's reappearance. "Danika will be alright. She's tough." He told her confidently. He didn't like Danika much but he knew how much she meant to Dara. "It's just....she's completely unstable. I dread to think what she'll do next. You shouldn't under-estimate her. Her power has...strengthened." he explained, determined that Dara should take this seriously. He stopped and looked at her falling asleep in his arms. "Dara...what's going on?" he asked, his tone serious.

Kildara could tell Caeleb was getting annoyed with her. Frustrated because he thought she wasn't listening. It wasn't that she wasn't listening, wasn't comprehending his words. It was just that she couldn't think straight. She was so tired. She didn't feel well. Then he looked down at her, and asked her what was wrong. She sighed. "Nothing. I just - I'm just really tired. I haven't slept very well lately. And I'm not feeling very well, my stomach is acting up," she explained. She pushed herself up straighter again, and rubbed her temples, sighing softly. "Okay. I really don't know what to do about her, to be entirely honest. Keeping an eye on her was the first thing that came into my head." She sighed, and rested herself against him again. "If only she wasn't targeting us. If only she was targeting the people we are. That would be so much easier. Apart from the fact she hates me and wants to kill me, she'd be useful if we could change her around. If. Though, by the sounds of things, that will be slightly impossible." She shrugged weakly. "Any ideas?" she asked him, turning her head, still against his shoulder, to look up at him.

Caeleb's eyes softened and he held Dara close to him as she confessed her tiredness. He frowned slightly when she mentioned her stomach. What could be wrong with her? He listened to her begin to talk more about Kelly and his lips pursed into a thin line and he shook his head at her question. "There's no way she'd join us. She hates you too much. But it may be possible to manipulate her into taking out a few of our own targets. If she thought they were a threat to her, I mean. Reducing Serena's little army by just one or two could make a huge difference to us. You and I both know this is going to come down to a fight, and the smaller their force the better." he theorised, looking at her for her opinion.

Kildara listened closely to Caeleb as he spoke. She sighed. "That could be helpful. Yes, reducing the Order would be helpful. Josh took care of Edith for me, that was a plus. That was never planned. It's meant to come to a fight. We've been planning it for some time," she said, shrugging her shoulders. All this talk about battles, and Death, and people wanting to kill her in particular, made her realise how much she never wanted to lose him. Even if one of them were to pass. She sighed, sat up straighter again. She had to do this. She didn't want their love to die if one of them did.
"Caeleb. Marry me. Please."

Caeleb nodded in agreement. A fight was inevitable. She fell silent and seemed to be deep in thought. He remained quiet, sure she must have been thinking strategies. So when she spoke it was the shock of his life.
He stared at her. His face remained completely calm and expressionless as he studied her face closely for any sign that she was either a: joking or b: insane. He saw neither. She looked perfectly serious. More than that, she looked pleading, desperate and one hundred percent, absolutely and completely sincere. There was a tiny flash of fear behind the sparkle of her eyes and he saw everything she was feeling. Suddenly that fear was his own. Either one of them could die, no, probably would die. The chances of them both surviving? He didn't know. He didn't want to know. The enormity of it came crashing down on him in an instant and suddenly his heart was in a vice.
There was only one answer.
"Yes."
