Anastasia nodded, "yeah, you're right" she said with a smile, Alex wouldn't let her get hurt, hopefully. She smiled softly, "clothes are the only thing that can cheer me up" she said with a grin. "Maybe, he might" she answered, "you know what a ball means... shopping!" she shouted with a grin, "oh and it's masquerade so we need masks, dresses, shoes, make up and jewellery" she added counting them off on her fingers. "This is going to be so fun."

"I know," Bella said giggling at the grin on Annie's face. "..Shopping!" she exclaimed at the same time. It was a good thing no one was allowed to make fun of prefects, although who didnt enjoy shopping? Hearing the list, Bella laughed and then nodded. "You know what we should do. Get all the girls that are going and use the room of requirement as a dressing room. So no guys have a chance at seeing what any of us are going to wear until we actually come down." She smiled, "Next Hogsmede trip, you and I and anyone else is going shopping."

Annie chuckled when they yelled shopping at the same time. She turned and looked behind herself and saw the younger girls looking at him weirdly. She turned back to Bella and smiled, "you're prefectiness means no one laughing at us" she laughed. "We should. That wojuld be perfect. Who would we take with us to Hogsmeade?" she asked.

Bella smirked and nodded knowingly. "It's one good thing about being a prefect. Even if people know you're being weird, they won't say anything cause they don't want to get into trouble." Thinking for a moment she got out some paper and pointed her wand at the quill allowing it to write while they talked. "Well we don't want any guys if we want it to be a secret. What about we just ask all the girls that we know and see if they want to be part of it?" she asked.

Annie nodded, "and being good friends with a prefect rocks too" she laughed, "and you are weird" she replied with a smirk. "Alright. No guys. Only girls..." she said with a nod. "Yeah... every girl, or every girl we actually like" she answered. "And no telling Sam. No matter what he says."

Bella smiled and nodded before hitting her lightly with a pillow. "Hey I'm not wierd!" She laughed and then took the pillow back before Annie could hit her with it. "Yeah only girls that we like. Which means that the fifth year girl with that crazy orange hair in Slytherin is not coming." She smirked as she heard she wasn't allowed to tell Sam. "Don't worry he won't get a single word about it out of my lips. No matter what techniques he trys. And no going to tell Max either."

"Hey, just cause I told the truth doesn't mean you have to hit me with a pillow" she scowled Bella for a second before her mouth curved in to a small smile. "Aww, I like the slytherin with crazy orange hair!" she groaned jokingly. "Good, no matter what, he don't get to know" she warned before rolling her eyes, "It's not like I'm going out with Max or anything" she muttered before looking away from her.

"No it means you get hit for knowing the truth," Bella said sticking her tounge out playfully knowing the scowl on Annie's face wouldn't last long. She laughed and shook her head, "I don't. She's too...crazy." It was her own turn to roll her eyes hearinig her friend's warning. "Trust me, no matter what he does, I'm not going to tell him," she promised. She raised one eyebrow and looked at her before saying one small word, "Yet."

Annie laughed, "I think I worked that one out myself" she answered rubbing her arm where Bella hit her. "I was joking about the girl" she replied and rolled her eyes again. "Good" she answered with a smile. She rolled her eyes again, "yet? whatever Bella" she replied wacking her arm softly.

"Honestly Annie," Bella said knowingly with a smile on her face. "You'll be going out with him before the ball, he'll ask you to it, and you'll look smashing at it." This ball was honestly going to be great, and the shopping for it was going to be even more fun. "Just think, every girl that doesn't come shopping with us will be extremely jealous when they realise that we've all got the best dresses."

Annie rolled her eyes, "maybe, but theres a chance he won't Bell" she said, "and stop talking about it like you know everything" she joked sticking her tongue out at her, she always knew everything. "That means we have to go shopping before every other girl" she thought out loud, "no last minute things."

"I know that," Bella said grinning, "but considering what you told me. The chance is tinier than the chip in my nail polish." She really needed to repaint them, the purple had been on for a week now. "I do know everything though," she joked sticking her own tounge out in response. "Well okay so I don't know what I'm getting Sam for his 18th, but I do know what he's getting for graduation." She grinned at the thought of the season ticket at the bottom of her trunk. "Yup which is why I'm glad we can get out to Hogsmede soon. Delphine's should have tons of dresses ready. And besides, we never show up wearing last minute things."

Annie sighed and shrugged her shoulders, "can we move on from Max? please?" she asked her friend impateintly. "Sure you do" she replied rolling her eyes, Bella did know everything, making it harder to hide things. "You're right, oh and it's going to take me a whole day to get ready for this one" she told Bella with a grin.

"Fine fine," Bella said laughing at her friend's impatience to change the subject. She knew that Annie was only being silly rolling her eyes and she just shook her head trying to stop laughing. "I know I think we should just get up extra early and get to the room of requirement before any guys do. Although knowing them they'll just get ready in their dorms, laughing with one another about an hour before the actual ball." She didn't know how guys could get themselves ready in such little time. She needed to do her nails, hair, makeup, dress, mask... everything! "What colour dress do you want to get?" she asked curiously.

"They probably will" she agreed, she didn't get how guys could take so little time while they took so long, 'I don't think we're in any rush to get to the room of requirment" she added after thinking it over. "Hmm... I think I'm going to go for a blue dress" she answered thoughtfully, "what about you?" she asked equally as curious, this was going to be fun.
