Krysta pulled the book out her bag as she wove her way through the stacks. Finally finding the aisle she needed she froze when she saw that Daniele girl browsing the books. She hovered on the spot for a moment not wanting to go any closer or have the girl notice her. But she had to put the book back. Drawing herself up tall and taking a deep breath she strode confidently down the aisle and scanned the row of books for the space her book had come from. The air had turned quite musty and still, like the books were holding their breaths. The only noise was the quietly loud footsteps walking towards her. Dani spun around, a cool smile preset on her expression. The face was recognised, those dark navy eyes and pale skin she knew too well. She looked so strong, so intimidating. She was putting her book away, too innocent for the type of girl she'd pictured her to be. Arrogant, malicious even. She turned back swallowing. She wanted to move away, walk away from it all. But gloating pride didn't let her budge.

Krys knew Dani had seen her. She could have cut the atmosphere with a butter knife. When Daniele didn't say anything or make a move Krys thought she could just leave and nothing would have to come of this. She turned to leave but something stopped her mid-turn. She looked back at the girl and a pained, almost frustrated expression entered her eyes. "Daniele?" she asked, cautiously. "We're going to have to acknowlege each other sooner or later. We can't just keep alking around the castle glowering at each other. We should talk." she said calmly and as friendlylike as she could manage.

She couldn't look past the expression in her eyes. Yes she was cold, probably heartless and most called her a b*tch but she was still human. She scowled inwardly, cursing the girl for being so innocent and friendly. She acknowledged teh cautious tone with a slight nod. Raising an eyebrow, she realised that Krys probably hated her. She let a smiled slip out. Somehow that was extremely comforting. "Agreed"

Krys nodded, glad that at least Dani hadn't just cursed her on the spot or ignored her completely. She sighed, not sure where to begin. "Look...I know I'm probably your least favourite person in the whole world. You may not believe me, but I understand. And in your position I'd probably be exactly the same. But I'm not your enemy. Honestly. I know you and Sebastian were very close once. But I'm not the one that...what i mean is...I didn't make this situation happen. It's not like I stole him. What did or didn't happen between you was nothing to do with me. I met Sebastian long after it happened. My only crime is falling in love with him." she explained, barely pausing for breath. She wasn't sure if Dani realy wanted to hear any of this. It could be she was too bitter to listen. "I don't want to be at war." she said, her voice softening. "To be frank, I have enough on my plate without daily catfights." he said honestly.

Dani glowered at her book, the girl didn't get it. She wanted Sebastian back. She wanted what she'd had. Krys had him....and it all. He was perfect, Dani had put him back together and then let go. Krys had gotten the finished sculpture. She felt sick, everything she'd wanted this ... thing had gotten. She knew it was irrational, and she knew Krys knew she couldn't care less. She cursed her inwardly, I don't wanna be at war She mimicked in her head, awfully. "Great....that's great" She said struggling to keep her voice level. "So how about.......we don't talk, don't even acknowledge each other and get on with life? How does that sound princess?"

A smirk spread across Krysta's lips. She felt it all. Every last piece of hatred, jealousy and a sense of injustice. The girl's ignorance was astounding. She chuckled. "I really gave you far too much credit. I assumed you were quite intelligent seeing as Sebastian actually held you in high esteem." she began. The gloves were off now. The beast growled and its hackles were raised. "You really have no idea, do you?" she asked, the fury barely staying out of her voice. "Do you know what Sebastian was when I found him?" she continued, her voice rising in pitch. "He was nothing but a shadow. An empty shell of darkness, shadow, hatred and pain. It was me that pulled him out. Me that gave him something to live for. Me that grabbed hold of the last little bit of his soul and breathed life back into it so don't you stand there glaring at me like I don't deserve him you ignorant bi*ch." She was pactically shouting now, but she didn't care. This stupid child needed to hear the truth whether she liked it or not.
"So I'm sorry Sebastian doesn't love you. I'm so sorry you're bitter and angry and think you've been so poorly done by. None of that is on me, no matter how much you want it to be. But you carry on hating and blaming it all on me if it makes you feel better. But you'll never get away from the facts. You're just going to have to live with it."
"As for being a 'princess'..." she said, practically spitting the word out "It just shows how f**ing ignorant you really are. You know f**k all about me because if you did that would be the last f**king word you'd use." she was roaring with fury now and she knew the librarian would be here any second. But she didnt care. Any amount of points she lost, or however many detentions she got it was worth it.

Daniele watched her, without her saying anything she read her thoughts or rather emotions like a book. Her eyes widened and she stepped back. She didn't speak just glared disgusted. "You....he took you?" She glared betrayed. How could he have done that? Ignoring everything she said, Dani felt her sides split, her anger bursting out like gas. Eyes darkening she pulled out her wand. "What the f*ck did you do to my best friend!" She screeched, seething. "You know what I will.....but before I do Princess" She spat back, making sure she heard her loud and clear. "I want to make sure you remember this...." Her wand took a second to appear and she smiled, leaving Krys tangled in invisible ropes on the floor. "Have fun while I do....and by the way hun....the harder you try to get loose, magic or otherwise....the harder it is to get out. Just a tip" She uttered sarcastically, overly enjoying the whole experience. She was still red-faced from the whole thing, before strolling out of the library.

Krysta eyed Dani's wand and smirked in dusgust. Like this girl could do anything to her anyway. Who did she think she was? She was twisted and bitter. Pathetic. She couldn't help feeling triumphant as she saw the fury and betrayal in her eyes. She knew she would be disgusted with herself later, but she was too angry now to care. Sebastian was hers. "Such bitterness." she spat mockingly. "What really hurts is that he rejected you all on his own. He didn't even know me then. But you blame me anyway. You're pathetic." she hissed. The beast was out of control. Krysta usually saved this fury for demons, it had never been directed at another human before. Her arrogance seethed and swelled, her pride cruelly invoked.
So when she found herself bound on the floor unable to move while Dani walked calmly away she roared with anger. Her eyes flashed black. Dani had been right. When she tried to disappartate the bonds they tightened even more. How did she do that? There had never been a spell that could hold Krysta Hedwig. This was not only new, but incredibly untimely. She was beginning to frighten herself with how angry she was. She was behaving like Caeleb, but at least Caeleb had an excuse. She alone knew what lay beneath his humanity.
She struggled once more and screeched with tumultuous fury as the bonds tightened. Get a grip girl. It's feeding off you. She stopped moving and tried to focus on one point ahead of her. Steadily she managed to slow her breathing and she felt her eyes become blue once more. She thought back to everything Kit had taught her about Meditation and she went into herself, slowly and surely her anger began to ebb away, and with it went the bonds. Finally she released a deep breath and shook herself free. Shakily getting to her feet her fists flexed and unflexed ad she was having to force back the anger again. But the more she thought about it, the funnier she found it. Suddenly she began laughing. She sounded hysterical, but really it was just the fact that she had obviously touched a seriously sensitive nerve for Dani to attack her like that. She considered showing her exactly what a little 'Princess" she really was, but realised it was probably beneath her. She had Sebastian and that was all that mattered.
