Kildara just laughed. "You could say that," she said, shaking her head. She leant over for some food, and then remembered she still had a full plate. She stared down at it, and her stomach turned. She pushed the plate away from her and took to taking gulps from her water goblet, in the hope it would fill her up. "Are you alright Kildara? You look ill, maybe you should see the nurse?" he asked, genuinely concerned. If something fatal occurred it would not be the first time blame turned towards him. E Bridget sat down at the table and smiled a little flustered when she saw several new teachers. "Evening..." He turned towards the voice. "Good evening," he said politely, smiling coolly, "I'm David Laine, Ancient Runes Professor, you are?" he asked. |

Dara looked up. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm just not feeling ok. Body's not really recovered yet, from its - uh - loss before the holidays," she said, hoping she wouldn't have to go into detail. "Ah, that's alright then. I hope you feel better, but all of us have our off days." he said, thinking she was talking about a pet dying or something. |

"Ah, that's alright then. I hope you feel better, but all of us have our off days." he said, thinking she was talking about a pet dying or something. Kildara gave him a strange look, then realised she'd have to explain, no matter how much it hurt. "I lost a baby, David. That's why my body has to recover," she said, the look still on her face. |

David blinked. "I am sorry for your loss, to lose a child must be horrible. My brother in one night lost both his wife and their unborn child, now all he has is Genvieve, his 4 year old daughter." he wanted to say more, but he did have any more words for that situation, so he said, "I feel for you."

Bridget smiled, "Bridget Walken.....Charms" She sat down beside him and looked up as Kildara introduced herself.
"Evening love. How are you feeling?" She asked, noticing the pale edge to her. She took a sip of her drink, unable to not hear the conversation between David and Dara. She gasped slightly when she heard she'd lost a child.
She reached over squeezing her hand gently.
"I'm so sorry honey"

Krys practically crashed into the table, she'd been running so fast.
"Professor Black! Anyone! Qick, Amanda's sick. Poinsoned...and something else. Don't know, can't tell. Need help!" she babbled, not really making much sense. She felt pretty crappy herself and her body was not appreciating the sprint she'd just done to the table. It was taking all her concentration to keep the glamours intact on her face. The last thing she needed was teachers asking questions right now.
"Help! Quick!" she repeated desperately.

Serena looked up from her plate when Krysta ran over screaming her name. She furrowed her eyebrows, "Krysta, where is she? take me over to her" she replied as calmly as possible. She stood up from her chair and waited for Krysta to take her over to Amanda.

Krysta grabbed Professor Black's hand. It was instinctive and didn't care that it may have looked funny. She pulled her away from the staff table and to where Ceallach waited with Amanda, who was doubled over at the Gryffindor table in agony.
