Kildara nodded her head appreciatively as he spoke. "Very nice. I was never good with heights either," she said, throwing him a wink, showing hiim she picked up on which ones he had experience in. "Well that all sounds interesting. A linguist? Wow. You're quite the quite the accompliahed gentleman, aren't you?" she said, giving him a somewhat cheeky smile.

"I try." he said, smiling slightly, bowing slightly. "But I believe the most accomplished of us all is standing right in front of me." David was truley impressed with her accomplishment and the courage to go on after Azkaban.

Kildara smiled. "Why thank you," she said, her icy blue eyes losing their colour, in her rather hidden embarassment. "I haven't really done much, that people take note of in a good way, unlike you," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Her accomplishments put her in Azkaban. No one thought of them as good accomplishments that benefitted anyone in anyway.

"Proper accomplishments to benefit the wizarding society." he said, not knowing her thoughts, but guessing what she may be thinking.

Kildara laughed, and raised her water goblet. "Here's to hoping," she toasted. "Once they realised that magic is a gift. I don't think they'll see that very soon. What with the Ministry being like it is. Muggle loving pieces of ..." Kildara said, her voice trailing off. "So. Change of subject, before I get myself into anymore trouble. How are you liking Hogwarts so far?"

"Hogwarts is lovely. Much warmer then Drumstrang and all the students seem bright. Unusual name tough, any idea where it came from?" he really was puzzled by that strange name.

Kildara laughed. "Yes, they're all rather bright. Some are brighter than others. The name? I have no idea. It's over a thousand years old. I have no idea," she smiled, shrugging her shoulders.

"My uncle always said the English were insane, I hope to prove him wrong, but the name of this school does not help." David laughed.

Kildara let out a flowery laugh. "I know what you mean. I'm Scottish, which is technically where Hogwarts is located, so I'm not offended by your uncle's remark. All the Founders were English I think."

"I know, normally I just acknoledge her and then we both speak civilly to each other, but that's about it," Liz said slightly confused herself. She never felt sorry for Dara, never had. "Oh well must be some sort of illness," she joked. "Well at least you got something out of him," she said. "It doesn't really sound horrible. It sounds fair to be honest. Like you said, after seven years of wedded horror, you deserve something in return." Hearing that she wasn't the only one out of practice, Liz laughed. "Trust me you're not the only one. My last boyfriend before Simon was when I was 17, 5 years ago. I'm so worried about messing up." She liked Edith, she seemed like the type of woman who'd speak her mind, but would also be there for those that she cared about. "Hmm, a bengal tiger against an egyption asp," she thought carefully. "I think you have a pretty good chance, though you'd need to be patient instead of rushing into attack. Asps are pretty patient as well and don't tire easily."

Edith laughed. "You were 17, 5 years ago? I feel old! I was 23!" she exclaimed, chuckling. She listened to Liz talking about the animals and she smiled. "Yeah, unfortunately. It's always been like that with Dara and me. I'm the braver, more powerful one. She's the cunning, manipulative one that knows how to get herself out of tight spots, and has an acid tongue. I tended to lose my temper frequently with her, and she was stay patronisingly calm. Bit annoying really."

"Yes," Liz laughed pushing her hair away from her face so her food wouldn't get in it. "You're not that old. Old is say 45, you're only 28!" Simon was 28 too, come to think of it. Hearing Dara's annoying calm character she said,"I've seen her riled a few times, but that's it. When I was younger I used to be the same though, I would always stay extremely calm and just got more and more calm the more the other person got angry. Now, if someone annoys me greatly, my anger will lash out." She knew how annoying it was though. Some of her students were like that and it really got on your nerves after a while. "So how long have you been studying Herbology?"

"Hmm. I did really well in Herbology at school, hmm ... so you could say I started 17 years ago," she laughed. "Now tell me I'm not old! Jeez. Good thing I don't feel old. "I was 11, 17 years ago, you were ... what, 5?" she chuckled. "So anyway, I did it at school, and got O-grades in my OWLs and NEWTS. Then I went on to work with plants within the Ministry. Some offshoot off some random department. I can't even remember."

Kildara just laughed. "You could say that," she said, shaking her head. She leant over for some food, and then remembered she still had a full plate. She stared down at it, and her stomach turned. She pushed the plate away from her and took to taking gulps from her water goblet, in the hope it would fill her up.
