Max felt her hand on his chest, and he felt it heat up under his shirt. He longed for more of her touch, but decided against asking. Most girls didn't kiss the guy that had asked her out as soon as it hapened, let alone kiss them like this, so, he was content with this, for now.

Annie opened her eyes slowly and pulled away, putting her forehead against his, "you taste like cigarettes" she told him softly, cringing at the same time. She really hated cigarettes and how they tasted but it was Max and she liked him, she she kissed him as long as she could before the taste overwhelmed her.

Max took in a deep breath as they broke apart, leaving his hand behind her head, as their foreheads rested against each other. He sighed as she said he tasted like cigarettes. "Mmm. Yeah. Sorry about that," he said softly. Great. Going to have to carry around breath mints now!

Annie sighed herself, "it's ok" she replied. "Why did you start smoking?" she asked curiously, looking in to his eyes. She didn't know why anyone would want to smoke, it was gross.

Max shrugged his shouders. "It seemed like a good idea at the time. When you're as bored as I was while I was away, you tend to do some preety stupid things," he said, leaving it at that. He wasn't going to go into detail on those 'stupid things'.

Annie nodded, she knew what he meant. Getting as drunk as she did when she was away was one of the stupid things. She sighed and looked away from him, Bella, Sam and Dani were the only ones that knew what she had done when she was away and she didn't need Max knowing.

Max heard her sigh, and saw her look away from him. His eyebrows furrowed together, confused. "What's wrong?" he asked, pulling her face around so she was facing him again.

Annie shook her head. "It's nothing, just thinking about something stupid I did myself" she answered, why couldn't she lie to him? well that didn't mean she had to give him a direct answer.

Max nodded. "Everyone does stupid things," he said softly, his eyes on her lips again. "Do I taste so bad that you won't kiss me again?" he asked, trying not ot laugh.

Annie smiled, finally someone that didn't ask about it. She saw his eyes look down at her lips and she smiled at his question. "Oh... I don't know. It did taste really bad" she commented with a sly smile, leaning forward to kiss him again.

Max looked taken aback as she spoke. "You - what!" he started, but was cut short by her lips on his, and he sunk into the kiss. His ams wrapped around her again, pulling her to him. He really liked her!

Annie chuckled against Max's lips. She felt his arms wrap around her again and she moved one of her hands back to his leg and the other up to his face, holding it against his cheek.

Max felt her chuckle, and he shrugged. Her hands on his leg and face made him groan. f**k he thought. His hands glided up and down her back lightly. Then his fingers brushed over some skin, and they froze. His hands had been raising her shirt and he didn't notice. f**k. Oh dear, he groaned inwardly. Bad idea But he didn't stop kissing her, just his hands stopped moving.

Annie heard him groan and she almost groaned herself. She felt his hands run up and down her back again until they stopped on her skin and started lifting it. She moved her hand futher up his leg when his hand stopped. She didn't mind when he did it.

Max felt her hand slide up his leg a little further, much to his surprise. He was expecting her to jump away or something. He was very she didn't though. He sighed, and let his fingers roam over the soft, smooth skin of her lower back. She was intoxicating! And he was losing it.
