"If this is summer here I don't want to see winter" he groaned and walked off with her sister. "Maybe" she agreed as they walked away, "ever realised we have huge accents?" "Ugh. This is disgusting! Wait ... isn't this winter? Opposite seasons? It's January. Must be a hot winter day," Jazmyn said, shrugging her shoulders, trying to keep warmish. "Oh my god! I was in Care of Magical Creatures class and I was talking to one of the other girls and I was like ... oh dear ... I sound like a bogan!" she exclaimed. "I sounded horrible!"

"argh" she groaned, "I hate Britian. Officially hate it" she said. "Bogan... something we didn't have to worry about back home... everyone's going to notice!" she said loudly, "I think I want to go inside" she added and turned towards the castle.

So do I," Jazmyn groaned in agreement to her sister's outburst. "I know! I was so pissed off! They've all got elegant fluid accents, and I sounded like a f**king yobbo!" she exclaimed. Ugh! "Same here," she said, following her sister into the relative warmth of the castle.

Krysta used the last of her strength to apparate to the Gates of Hogwarts castle. It was the closest she could get, thanks to the antiapparation spell Kildara had set up around the grounds and she just didn't have the strength to break through it. Blood pouring down both arms and from the wounds on her back and thigh she staggered up the gravel path, finally collapsing into a heap on the Courtyard floor. It was deserted. Part of her was grateful. She didn't want anyone to see her like this. The Blades of Natherra crashed to the ground with a clatter, blood still dripping from the sharp metal. The shoulder of her top was torn, a huge rip in her trousers from the beasts claws. Her pale white face was deathly thin and tinged grey around her hollow cheek bones. Her hair was begdraggled and matted with blood and soil. She coughed once and winced with pain. Her vision blurred and she fell limp and unconcious on the stone ground, a thin rivlet of blood collecting in a small pool beside her.

Ceallach came out of the castle doors, and into the courtyard, and into the fresh air. Or what should be fresh air. The metallic salty smell of blood hit her sensitive nostrils and she gagged. She looked around, looking for the source of the unfamiliar scent. Her eyes widened as her eyes landed on Krysta, unconsious on the pavement. She rushed over to her, sliding along the bricks, as she fell to her knees beside her friend. "Oh my god! Krysta. Babes come one. Oh god," she said. She looked around the other girl, looking for the source of the pooliing blood. She'd be able to heal it. Well, as good as that would get them to the hospital wing. She found it and ran her hands over the wound, the skin knotting, but not completely. Her powers were affected by her emotions, and right now, she was distraught. She looked around, hoping for some help, but, she couldn't find any. She groaned and lifted Krysta up, staggering slightly under her dead weight and made the slow progress to the hospital wing, hoping Krysta regained consciousness soon.

Xander was out in the courtyard, trying his best to have a bit off alone time from the other students. He enjoyed other people's company, yes, but he also needed time alone.
The silence was broken by the frantic sound of a female voice. He looked over in the direction it was coming from, his gaze landing on a Gryffindor student. He frowned in confusion and set off towards the girl. “Miss? Is everything alright?” he asked, his eyes widening as he noticed the other girl whom she was attempting to lift. “f**king hell.” he whispered at the sight of all the blood. “Here, let me.” he said, offering to take the girl. Despite his fragile looking frame, Xander was surprisingly strong. They could get to the hospital wing in a fraction of the time it would take this poor Gryffindor.

Through her semi-comatosed state Krysta could sense a familiar presence, but she couldn't pull together the power to identify who it was. It felt friendly, though and she murmured, trying desperately to force herself awake. She could feel someone else's panic and worry and tried to reach out to it. As Ceallach tried to heal he, Krys latched onto her power and used it to recharge herself a little. As a result the wound wasn't fully healed, but she began to slowly grasp hold of conciousness. "Ceal." she whimpered. She thought she said it. But she wasn't actually sure whether the words made it out of her mouth or not. She could feel herself being moved but could not make her own body respond so she just allowed the person, she was convinced it was Ceallach, lift her.
Another presence joined then, an unfamiliar presence. She tried to resist. No, no strangers. No one could see her like this, there would be too many questions. It would be round the school by dinner. She tried to speak to tell Ceallach to get rid of them but it was no use. She felt strong hands lift her and carry her. The presence emitted concern and a desire to help. Reluctantly she stopped fighting and just allowed herself to be carried to the hospital wing.

He looked at the blades on the ground and back at the other girl, taking the girl into his arms. He frowned but now was not the time for questions. She and the other Gryffie looked around the same age as him. The wounded girl was twitching involuntarily. “It's alright love.” he whispered soothingly. “We're here to help.” He brushed some bloodied hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. “What's her name?” he asked the distressed girl as they made their way hurriedly towards the school entrance.

Ceallach looked around as a Huffie she didn't knew came up. "Does it look like everything's alright?" Ceallach snapped. "Sorry," she muttered. She was a bit hesitant to let the boy take Krysta, but she felt like she was going to collapse. When Krysta said her name, she sighed, almost with relief. "Krysta. Krysta, honey," she said, softly, a tear escaping her eye. She reluctantly handed Krysta over to the boy, and wiped the tear away. She felt slightly helpless now. "Oh my god," she said, picking up the blades and hurrying after the boy. "Her name's Krysta," she choked. This really didn't look good at all. Now she felt weak for some strange reason. Ugh. But, she followed them none-the-less. She wasn't going to leave Krysta for a second.

Xander was completely unphased by the girl's tone of voice. She was obviously in shock. “Krysta. Thank you.” he replied when the girl told him her name. He eyed the blades in Ceallach's hands briefly. What in Merlin's beard had gone on here? “You did well to stem the bleeding. Miss...?” he questioned her for her own name. “But Krysta is still loosing a fair amount of blood.” His own shirt was now drenched in her blood. He took the bag from his shoulder and held it out to the girl as best he could whilst carrying this dead weight in his arms. “If you look in there you will find a shirt of mine. Tear it up and tie it as tightly as you can around the deeper wounds.” he instructed. “But we have to keep moving as you do it.” he told her. She didn't look too hot either - but there was nothing he could do about that at the moment. He needed her help here.

"I'm a healer," Ceallach sighed. She knew she hadn't done the best job she could have. She had felt Krysta draw on her strength. "Ceallach. The name's Ceallach." She'd never felt his useless. Ever. When the kid gave her his bag, she nodded, a bit hesitant to go through his bag, but did it anyway, looking for the shirt. She found it, slinging the bag over her own shoulder and started ripping up the shirt, the tiger's strength and nails coming in handy to rip it cleaner and quicker. She was walking along beside them, tying the rags around all the deep wounds she could find, trying her darndest to heal as much she could at the same time. Hard work when you're feeling diminshed. She sighed aggressively, a few more tears dropping from her eyes. Krysta better be okay. Or she was going to track down whatever did this to her and kill it herself.

So she was a healer. That would explain her ability to heal so well at a young age. “Well Ceallach. It's a shame we couldn't have met under better circumstances. I'm Xander.” he told her. He saw her hesitation when he handed her his bag. Now wasn't the time to be worrying about any personal stuff he may have in there. He didn't care, so why should she? She found the shirt almost immediately ripping the it up with impressive ease. She did well to tie the rags around the wounds while they were moving at pace. He looked at her when she sighed, tears running down her cheeks but he chose to ignore it. He needed to concentrate on Krysta right now.
“Alright Caellach. Now that you've done that I'm going to run ahead.” he looked at her. She looked as if all her strength had been sapped completely. “You don't look in any state to be exhorting yourself. I'll meet you in the hospital wing.” he nodded at her and gave her a reassuring, albeit small, smile and quickened his pace. When he got to the entrance to the castle, he eyed the stairs with some trepidation. God, this was going to kill him. He shook his head, adjusting Krysta's weight in his arms and began to run up the stairs.

Ceallach sighed, and nodded. "Yeah. It's a shame," she said quietly. She'd never felt so small. She'd never seen Krysta so bad either. Krysta wasn't really that big, but, she wasn't tiny either, and right now, she looked like a rag doll.
She looked up at Xander as he spoke, her eyes wide. She wasn't going to leave Krysta alone at all. But, as he continued, she slumped. Healing was tiring, especially when she was so distraught about her friend. She nodded, and walked behind them, watching Xander as he ran up the stairs. She made her way up them as quickly as she could, clutching the railing as she did so.

Krysta could distantly feel Ceallach's hands on her wounds as she tried to bandage them up. The other presence was becoming clearer, stronger and Kysta latched onto it. It seemed friendly, strong, and it seemed to know what it was doing. It was a boy, she was sure of that, but at that her analysis ended. She didn't have the strength. "Morlock" she tried to tell the boy but the word failed her, coming out as a murmur. He didn't know where he was taking her but she knew it was to safety and to help. She winced as she felt Ceallach's presence become more distant. "Ceal." she murmured again, not wanting her friend to leave her, but it was no good. She whimpered quietly as she felt herself being held tightly to the boy's body, resigning herself to his protection.

Annie walked down to the courtyard. She sat down on one of the benches and sighed. Maybe she should follow Bellas advice but she didn't know what she'd do if Max was still the sam guy he was before he left. She closed her eyes and sat back, everything was too confusing.
