Just thought I'd add in this little bit of information!!

WANT TO MAKE A DETAILED BIOGRAPHY BUT JUST DON'T KNOW HOW??
THEN READ ON!!

1. Your character's full name.....if you know what their full name is, it makes it easier to come up with everything else.

2. The full names of your Character's parents. For the mom, I want you to tell me what her maiden name was before she married your character's father.

3. How the parents met. Give as much detail as possible....did they run into each other, did they meet through a friend, were they friends at school, etc.

4. When your parents began dating. Same thing here, the more detail the better, because it will help you figure out the personality of your character.

5. Your character's History, beginning at their birth. Where were they born? What was life like growing up? What is the relationship of your character and their parents as they age? What was their reaction when your child was given the acceptance letter? Did they help, or did they shy away? What was the first few years like for your character at the school? (If your character is a First Year, tell me what they are feeling going into a new school)

5B. If your character is a Professor, tell me what their life was like in school, with as much detail as possible. Also tell me what they did after they graduated, leading up to their current position at Hogwarts School.

6. Your character's personality. Are they usually happy, or they always moody? What do they like to do for fun? Are they popular, a make-out addict, a loner? What makes them angry, or sad? What happens when they are in fact angry or sad...do they lash out, or lock themselves away? The more you know about your character's personality, the more you will know how they will react to other characters.

7. Your character's best and worst classes. Which subjects do they get the best grades in, and which do they struggle in? If it's a First year, what classes are they hoping to excel at? This helps with explaining your character when it comes to class scenes.

7B. For Professors, tell me what classes they did well at and didn't do well at, and how that changed your character's life...had they hoped to be an Auror, only to not do well in DADA and thus have to find a new career path? Stuff like that.

8. Your chracter's likes and dislikes. What foods do they like and despise? Do they like happy people, or do happy people annoy them? This ties in with your character's personality...the more you know what they like and don't like, the better it will be for you to know how your character will respond to any given situation.
