Chapter 1- Introductions and Beginnings
Hi there, I see you’ve stumbled across this story of my life, well first things first I believe introductions are in order. My name is Raven Athlon, and I’m a 5th year Slytherin at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My past is a very dark and painful one, one that few know about. Now, if you’re all interested in listening to my story of heartbreak, death and pain, then I shall begin.
This story begins 4 years ago when I was on the Hogwarts Express, sitting (as usual) by myself in a compartment watching the trees pass by out the window. As I stared out the window, I wondered where the sorting hat would put me. I was hoping not to be put in Gryffindor, that house is just filled with blood traitors. Maybe Slytherin? Because of my bloodline and heritage it seemed like the right choice but I would have to wait till the sorting hat made its decision.
I noticed that we were getting close to Hogwarts so I got up and put my robes on, smoothing them out against my curves, making sure that it was absolutely perfect. I got off the train when it stopped and heard an interesting voice. “Firs’ Years over ‘ere” the voice said and I turned to see a giant man who students identified as Hagrid. I shrugged and figured I might as well as go down there and saw the boats.
I climbed into one of the boats and eventually got to the school, soon enough all the fellow first years were in the entrance hall of the school, we were all lead into the Great Hall. “Raven Athlon!” a voice called out and I approached the three legged stool and sat down, the hat was placed on top of my head.
Hmm..interesting, you’ve got a lot of ambition, you have the ability to lie and betray other people to get whatever you want and I see you doing great things.. this is just way too easy.
“SLYTHERIN!!!” The sorting hat yelled and I got up and walked over proudly to the Slytherin House Table. I sat down and looked back at the sorting hat with a smirk. This was just the best day of my life, to follow in my family’s footsteps as a Slytherin.
