Danika shook her head. Caitlin was definately pushing it. She smiled though when Caitlin whispered to her. She nodded her head, but remained silent, waiting for the instructions, ready to take notes.

Professor Pettigrew walked to the board and tapped it, so it could read: Wit-Sharpening Potion ingredients: ground scarab beetle, cut up ginger root, armadillo bile 1) Ground the beetles 2) Let the beetles boil for 10 minutes 3) take it off the fire and cut your ginger root into even pieces 4) put the beetles back on the fire and add ginger roots, stirr 7 times clockwise and 3 times counter-clockwise. Now your potion should be shimmering green. Leave it boiling for 20 minutes 5) add armadillo bile. The potion should turn to purple and is supposed to make a white cloud above you kettle. 6) stirr the mixture 5 times contra-clockwise and 8 times clockwise. It should turn red. 7) Let it boil for another 20 minutes, then it should be ready. Your potion is ready, when it has attained transparency. Come, take a sample bottle from my desk and fill it with your potion. All pairs must have their potions on my desk with their names on the bottle, by the end of the lesson. Professor Pettigrew clapped her hands "You may get started." |

CAitlin imediatly started to Ground the beetles. This class would be slightly dull. but oh well.

Kelly went to the supply cupboard to get some armadillo bile. She tried hard not to look at Sam. When she returned, she started to ground the beetles. "Put the cauldron on fire" she told Sam, still avoiding his look.

Danika got up and walked over to get the rest of the ingredients from the store cupboard. She stood next to Kelly and brushed her arm against hers. She gave her a small smile then turned back to the table and sat down, reading the instructions. She saw Caitlin was grinding the beetles so she set a fire beneath the cauldron and waited until Caitlin was finsihed.
Sam was massively confused at why Kelly wasn't looking at him but decided to ignore it. He did what he was told and set a fire beneath the cauldron and waited for Kelly to do the next step.

Kelly let the beetles fall into the kettle. "Now we'll have to wait 10 minutes." she accidentally touched Sam's hand while saying it and pulled away quick. She thought about Danika. She wanted everyone to know. She looked at her sitting next to Caitlin. She wanted to go to her and kiss her, but on the same time, she wanted Sam to touch her. She was so confused.

"10 minutes? I think I can do that," he said, casually lounging in his seat, looking extremely carefree and gorgeous. He smiled endearingly at Kelly, wishing she would look at him. It was making him uncomfortable.
Danika put the crushed beetles into the cauldron. Caitlin didn't seem to be concentrating. She sat back in her chair, her legs crossed elegantly, her shortened school skirt falling back on her thigh, showing off more leg than was supposed to be shown at school. She looked over to Kelly and smiled, under the pretense of looking over at Sam and his potion. She wanted to tell everyone but she knew Kelly still had a thing for Sam. She wanted to get up, grab her and kiss her senseless. But she couldn't and it was annoying.

She saw Danika looking at her, her skirt revealing everything she wanted to have right here, right now. Kelly knew, Danika wanted her as much as she did Danika. She mouthed the word 'Later' to her and hoped, that Sam didn't see it.
"Now, most of you should have begun to cut their roots already." professor Pettigrew's voice echoed from the walls. She couldn't help noticing the looks between Kelly and Danika. She decided to send a thought to Danika. She entered her mind and asked "Miss Peverell, what on earth are you thinking?"

Isabella looked over at Sam and smiled, at least they weren't working with Caitlyn or it would've been extrememly awkward. She cut the beetles up and put them into the cauldron. "Hey Max, while I watch the cauldron, could you please cut up the ginger roots," she said to him.

Danika sighed heavily. Let me handle Kildara, I mean Professor Snape. Do you think I'm going to hurt Kelly? Well then you've got it all wrong, she thought. Pettigrew really was annoying. She was tempted to shut off her mind all together so the pesky Profesor wouldn't be able to get in.
