"Yeah, I guess I'm alright..just frustrated a bit though" Raven said, staring blankly at the wall. Okay for sure this school was driving her crazy now, the stone walls were like barriers to her, stopping her from escaping.

Gabriella sighed. She looked at the girl closer, realisation dawning on her face. "You're Raven hey? I'm sorry, I'm Gabriella Sanchez, I'm in 5th year too. You were with Danika Peverell for a bit weren't you?" she asked, then immediately wished she hadn't said it. That could be one of the reasons she was up here moping. People, she noticed, tended to mope after they'd got dumped by Danika.

"Yes I am Raven Athlon, 5th year Slytherin. Yes, sadly I was with Danika for a bit though I thought that she might have left Kelly for me.. I told her how I felt and look where it landed me.." Raven said, looking up at Gabriella.

Gabriella sighed and motioned to a spot next to Raven. "Do you mind if I sit?" she asked, before sitting anyway. It was polite to ask. "Oh yeah, Kelly Black. She's helped me through some stuff. You know, despite the harsh exterior and her sort of maniac, she's actually really nice. I can see why Danika went for her. But I can see why she went for you as well. You're really pretty, surely you can get anyone you want," she said, again wishing she hadn't said it. By the look on Raven's face, Danika was the only thing she wanted.

"Go ahead.. trust me.. I just don't want anyone else but Danika and she's the one thing I'll probably never be able to have anyways. So I figured that I might as well just give up and come to realize that I won't have my happy ending at all." Raven said, looking down frustrated.

Gabriella sighed. "Surely there is someone else that has caught your eye. What about that Andrew in Gryffindor, Scottish bloke? He has a luscious accent. And he's easy on the eyes. If I wasn't taken, I'd go for him," she said softly. That was the first time, in the entire time she'd been with Tobias, she'd said that, contemplated how things could have been different.

"He was already interested in me and I turned him down because I only like him as a friend. He doesn't even want to talk to me anymore, and that's fine. Things just seem to get worse for me, first it was this thing with Danika and now my parents are getting a divorce" Raven said, sadly.

Gabriella sighed. "I would have leapt at the chance if I were you, even if you only liked him as a friend. You could have grown to like him. It wouldn't have taken long," What was wrong with her? Why was she saying all this? Okay, so don't let the Danika thing worry you anymore. Yes, Kelly will probably flaunt the fact she was able to tame Danika's wild ways, but hey, at least you got to test the waters, before she was gone. Oh my. I'm so sorry about your parents. I'm sure it's for the best," she said, softly placing a hand on Raven's arm. Her home life was perfect. She was her Daddy's little princess, and her parents never fought. Her mother was a submissive house-wife. She had nothing to fight her father about. And her lovely boyfriend treated her like an angel. She felt so sorry for everyone that had troubles like Raven was obviously having now.

"It just seems like nothing goes right for me. The only thing I have to be proud of is my Quidditch skills. I just end up on the pitch most of the time trying to vent my anger and frustration through flying." Raven said, looking up.

Gabriella sighed. "I can't play Quidditch. I'm shot on a broom. No balance you see. I'm a bit of a clutz," she laughed. "Well, you've got to have something to vent all that anger into. Could you imagine if everyone had to bottle up their anger. It would be frightful. You've got Quidditch. so that's good. What position to do play?" she asked, trying to steer clear of the current conversation.

Gabriella smiled as Raven did. Good, okay so she was getting somewhere. "Well, have you been on the team before, or are you just starting out? My boyfriend, Tobias, he's obsessed with Quidditch. He's the Hufflepuff Captain." Her face lit up at the mention of Tobias. Then she realised, mentioning him was probably a bed idea, considering Raven's situaton.

"I've been on the team since my 3rd year, and I've always put the team ahead so when the seeker catches the snitch, we have an insane lead and a victory" Raven said, she felt a wave of jealously run over her and she really didn't want to show it.

Gabriella felt a sudden pang of sympathy towards the girl. "I'm so sorry for mentioning Tobias. I know it was selfish of me," she said, placing a hand on Raven's arm. "So, you must be pretty good then. But, the Hufflepuff team's pretty good, okay, so not the best but they're good. But, the Slytherin and Ravenclaw teams are the ones to beat. What with their dominating Seekers. Sam's a really good Seeker. He got a new broom I heard. The newest Firebolt. What do you have?"

"I just got the newest broom on the market since earlier this term I sorta landed on my broom after taking a bludger to the head, my parents sent it to me with my owl Belkin. Its incredible, it handles so well and its fast which is great, since I need to be fast to stop the other team's chasers from even reaching the Hoops" Raven said.
