Annie laughed back, "I always get that" she fould it funny that people thought she didn't, "hope i get in to the team this year" she smirked, "being like a sister to the captian helps" she nodded, "I never want to play it since I got knocked off my broom but a very over competive cousin for beating him to the snitch"

Danika looked up, hearing her name. "Seeker is the best position in the game. Yeah, I suppose you could say there is quite a bit of pressure, because we end the game, and generally win it, but every other position is just as important. Sorry, that's part of my little speal I have to say before the tryouts," she laughed, lightening up a bit.

Amelina laughed.
"I don't. I might not look it..." She looked outside at the already dusk setting, "but I belong out there...more than I belong in here" She looked back and Annie. "I was born in the Mountains....I get depressive if I'm inside too long" She laughed again at Dani.
"It's only true" She said honestly, "Unless the chasers are particularly good scoreres and the beaters are particularly good at keeping the quaffle at bay then the game is in the Seeker's hand" Amelina said, looking right into her eyes.

"Yeah I suppose. Then there would be a lot of pressure on the Seekers' shoulders. I personally haven't found that, but I can catch the Snitch at anytime in the game to save it if need be. Hence the reason the Slytherin team is practically unbeatable," she said, shrugging her shoulders slightly. |

Annie nodded and laughed, "the mountains? wow, In what country?" she asked smiling, "the most interesting thing about me is my mothers a veela hence I don't look like a qudditch player" she nodded, "I don't think I could ever be seeker"

Amelina's eyes hardened fractionally but she smiled and inclined her head a fraction. No Grudges.... She thought.
"Italy. I'm Italian. Veela? That is interesting. Once you get to know my, you realise I really do belong out there" She looked almost jealously outside, desperately wishing she could be.
Amelina laughed quietly.
"Unbeatable and not modest either" She said, laughing to herself.
"I can play it....any position. I dislike keeper. I find the gloves make me a lot less smooth.

Danika laughed, realising how stuck up she must have sounded. "I only meant, well the other Seekers aren't really that good, and I practice heaps. The one of got to worry about now he's got his new broom is Bella's darling, Sam Hearn, Ravenclaw Seeker and Captain. I really want my new broom!" she almost whined. She looked up at how Amelina was looking outside.
"I'm the same. Outside is where I belong. I hate being inside. So stuffy and restrictive," she said, looking out at the sky.

"Italian so's Bella!" she said happily, "yeah veela" she smiled again and noticecd her face, a lot of girls gave that face when she told them, "It doesn't effect boys unless I want it too kind of good being a half veela" she said the word half more loudly. "I hate keeper, I can play beater but more very well, I think I'll leave that to the boys" she giggled again and looked at Dani, "calm down Dani, I have my new broom in my common room, I was scared to leave it in the brook shed in case it got stolen" she commented and nodded.

Amelina was starting to get sick of hearing Bella's name-everywhere, it wasn't like she's magically appeared at the school, she had been here since 1st year.
"Yeah, but I've never heard of her family, were not related or anything" Amelina laughed, shaking her head.
"I don't think the Gryffindor team is that bad.....afterall most of the team have firebolts" She said, looking up at Danika.
"No. Beaters fun, especially to let off steam" She said, guiltily remembering her last game. She looked up at Danika, realising there were more similiarities than she'd first thought.
"I know...the walls make me feel closed in, like I can't express myself. Out there....there are no walls. Creativity is limitless, limited by your own imagination" She realised that sounded highly poetic, and laughed quietly.

Danika sighed. "I'm on a Firebolt as well, just not the newest one. Sam's got the brand new one and he keeps rubbing it in my face. I have to wait until my birthday and I get my inheritance, then I can buy my new broom. Stupid relatives won't even let me have a bit of my own money until I turn 17. Stupid family," she muttered. Then she realised how much she said and quickly turned onto the other part of the conversation.
"Nicely put," Danika smiled. Very poetic. "I know exactly what you mean. I feel claustrophobic. Everywhere inside, even bigger rooms like the Great Hall and such. When I'm outside I can breath. Just be me. I like fires. The way they are constantly changing and free, that's how I want to be, but I can't because I'm stuck in these stone walls." She sighed heavily. She never spoke like this. Maybe 16 years of being cooped up was finally getting to her.

"Ah. At least we have some sort of outdoor exposure" She smiled and dusted herself off. Feintly a bell rang in the distance.
"S'pose that's dinner." She smiled at them.
"I'll see you round." She walked down the corridor, her mind completely off food. Gryffindor Common Room closer.

Raven walked into the corridor and sat down against the wall, things weren't going well for her this year at all with the whole situation with Danika and the fact that her parents are getting divorced. Being in this school was causing to go crazy, she swore that it was although this was basically her home and she did like it here at times.

Gabriella was coming down from the owlery when she passed through the sixth floor corridor on her way down. She loved it when it was quiet. She looked around and saw another girl sitting against a wall. She thought about just walking past, then she saw the girl looked sort of down so she walked up to her and smiled down at her.
"Hey, you okay?" she asked her. The girl looked like a Slytherin. There was probably a very big chance she wouldn't talk to her, a Hufflepuff.
