"That's good to know. Yes I've always found the fresh air to be a good cure for some things," Elizabeth said with a smile. She thought about the things that had happened in class. "Well the class was just writing down words that could describe their personalities in pairs. It's been set for their homework so they can figure out what animals match with the words they have to see what they could possibly turn into." She sat down and motioned for Krysta to do the same. "Now if you were wondering what you missed student wise, Kelly left half way through the lesson because she didn't really have anything to do; Amelina and Danika were partnered together and Isabella and Caeleb were together, although they did seem to be a bit distant from the others." She remembered Amelina getting up and talking to Isabella. "Now how long have you been an animagus then?"

Krysta listened carefully, wondering what had made Kelly leave the class early. She made a mental note to find her and see if she was alright. When she heard that caeleb had been p0artnered with Bella she scowled. Why hadn't Bella told her? She'd just been talking to her outside and she hadn't mentioned it. Even after the warnings she'd given her. This didn't bode well at all. She looked at professor Peterson and managed a weak smile.
"Well...I suppose my Mum first started teaching me when I was...probably about 10. She never let me try it, but she taught me the theory, you know...she was preparing me for it I suppose." she trailed off and smiled. She loved her Mother so much and missed her terribly. Simon, her brother was all she had left now. "And then when I was 12 she started encouraging me to try it physically. She was with me the whole time!" she added quickly, not wanting to worry her teacher. "I managed it the first time 2 years later. But it was hard, and I couldn't repeat it again until..." she trailed off and her eyes glazed over. A lump formed in her throat and she felt the burning in her nostrels that came just before tears. She looked at the Professor apologetically, holding back a sob.

Elizabeth watched Krysta carefully and smiled in return. Something was bothering the girl, but she knew not to pry. "Yeah teaching the theory is probably the easiest part of it to teach," she said, remembering being taught it when she was young. "I'm surprised you were that young though if your mother was preparing you for it, it must mean she had a good feeling about your potential." She continued to listen, thinking about why Krys had trailed off when something caught her attention. Trying transfiguration at 12!! When she heard that her mother was with her, she calmed down. Mothers were the best teachers sometimes. "Wow, at 14 years old, that's impressive!" Elizabeth said. She knew that being an animagus was something that most people didn't attempt unti they were 16 or 17. She was going to agree that is was hard when Krysta stopped. Seeing that the girl was going to cry she put a hand on her shoulder, "She's very proud of you Krysta. I would be if I was her."

Krysta looked up and managed to smile through the tears that trickled down her cheeks. "Thank you, Professor." she said, her voice breaking a little. She sighed deeply and wiped her cheeks. In that moment she decided to somethig crazy. She trusted this teacher She liked her. And she hoped she'd undertand. "Professor...have you ever heard of the Coven of Sk'Natherra?" she asked uncertainly.

Elizabeth shook her head and handed Krys a tissue. "You're welcome, I only speak what you know is already true," she said with a smile. When she heard Krysta's question she looked at her carefully, "Not in a very long time. But yes in answer to your question, I have heard of the Coven. May I ask how you have heard of the Coven." It wasn't something most people knew of, so how Krysta knew confused her.

Krysta's eyes lit up. She had heard of them! It was rare these days. "Professor, here's something I want to show you." she said. She got up and turned around facing away from Professor Peterson. She pulled her robes off her left shoulder revealing her white flesh and the extremely special birthmark on her shoulder blade. It was small: only about half an inch long, but it's form was clear: a little blue flame.
"Does this look at all familiar to you, Professor?" she asked, hopefully.

Elizabeth watched carefully and then gasped as she saw the blue flame on Krysta's shoulder. "Just a bit familiar," she said with a small smile. Seeing that flame brought back so many memories and stories. "I haven't seen that flame on anyone for a few years now." She lowered her robes off of her shoulder to show her own birthmark. "Krysta, how many people do you know this?"

Krysta covered herself up again and turned to face her teacher. "My brother does, obviously. When my Mother was killed I was the only one left. It's just me. Last remaining sisiter on Natherra." she said sadly and distantly. "I swore to keep it secret. Most people have forgotten all about The Coven. It's easy to remain hidden. Though I suppose some people must have seen my birthmark." she said, thinking specifically of Caeleb and more recently: Danka. "But to be honest, no one has ever recognised it for what it is. Some people just think it's a tattoo." she explained. "The hardest thing is keeping my powers hidden." she admitted. She pulled the triple core wand and handed it to Professor Peterson. "Do you know what this is? she asked, not really expecting her to.

"Family is understandable," Elizabeth said with a smile, that quickly turned to a sympathetic frown. "I am sorry about your mother, she was a friend of my mother which is how I know about the Coven." She nodded, "Hm, well I guess it is sort of hard occasionally, but as long as they dont question it too much." She trailed off, knowing why the Coven didn't always choose to be known. "Yes I can imagine that being a little harder than the average witch finds it." She took the wand from Krysta and examined it carefully before waving it. When it didn't work she was quite surprised. "I know it's a wand, and surprisingly it doesn't work. Why?" she asked curiously.

Krysta smiled wistfully and took the wand back from Professor Peterson. She ran her fingers lovingly over it, smiling for a second. She suddenly sat up straight and pointed it at a large stuffed eagle that was sitting on a wooden perch in the corner of the room. She flicked it and a flash of blue magic shot out of the tip of the wand, hitting the eagle in its chest. The eagle miraculously fluttered it wings and ruffled its feathers, acting for all the world as though it was alive. It screeched once before Krysta flicked her wand again and it fell motionless again. She turned to Professor Peterson and grinned. "No, ummm...may I borrow your wand, Professor?" she asked nervously

Elizabeth watched Krysta and smiled as she saw the connection the girl seemed to have with her wand. Turning her head, she watched as a blue light hit the eagle and she tensed. That was given to her from her uncle and if it was hurt... Seeing it act like it was alive she calmed down. "Hmm maybe i was wrong, the wand apparently works," she said with a little laugh. She thought for a moment before nodding, removing her wand from inside her robes. "Here you go," she said simply offering it to her.

She took the wand and smiled. "Errr....try not to panic." she offered sheepishly. She saw the look of horror when she'd cast the spell at the Eagle and her empathic abilities picked up on the fear. She pointed Professor Peterson's wand at the eagle and took a deep breath...then changed her mind. "Professor do you perhaps have something that...you're not particularly fond of...er...that it doesn't really matter if something happens to...?" she asked awkwardly.

[Elizabeth let out a small laugh, still not fully able to believe she was only a few years older than Krysta. "Don't worry," she said. "You're forgetting I've seen a lot worse." Her muscles had involuntarily stiffen as she saw the wand pointed at the eagle again and then relaxed as Krys did nothing. "Yes I do," she said with a small laugh. There was something that she had been needing to destroy for a while. "You can do whatever you want to this," she said taking a picture in a frame of her and another guy taken a year ago out and placing it on her desk.

Krysta laughed when she saw the picture. "Ok...er, you may want to shield your eyes." she said nervously. She pointed Professor Peterson's wand at he photograph and flicked it. She quickly covered her eyes as a mightly flash of magic burst from the wand and the photograph shattered in a smash and explosion of flame. "Heh." she laughed awkwardly, throwing an apologetic look at her teacher. "Argh!" she squealed as the table caught fire. She quickly dropped the wand, which was actually smoking slightly and waved her hand at the fire. "Augmenti!" she cried and a stream of water appeared in thin air, extinguishing the small blaze. "Sorry!" she wailed. She picked up the Triple-Core and began syphoning the excess water off the desk. "Woops" she muttered.

Elizabeth looked at Krysta curiously but didn't look away, instead she covered her eyes and looked throught her fingers. Her eyes immediatley shut as there was a big explosion and flash. "Merlin's beard Krysta!" she exclaimed as the photograph shattered, but she couldn't help but laugh at the look she was given. Her attention was drawn away as her desk burst into flame, she knew that Krysta had dropped her wand, but she pointed her finger at water, drying it as the girl got rid of the water. "Don't worry about it, the picture needed to go anyways, although i'm glad the desk is still in one piece," she said repairing the books that had been damaged and calling her wand to her from the floor. "Right so since your wand allows you to control your powers, I'm guessing that's a triple core wand."
