Danika didn't know why, but she was suddenly very interested in History. She supposed because they weren't just sitting in their seats listening to a teacher drone on in lecture-style, they were interacting with things. She looked up at Professor Dalton. She didn't have any questions, so she stood there and waited.

Lucien continued, considering they were over with the hunt and burnings subject, it was time to continue onto the other one, it wasn't as easy to look at either, as Goblins reigned the majority of the images now.
"Goblins" he said, "What can someone tell me about them?" he asked, his face to the students.

"Well they're really possessive," Isabella said rasing her hand. "Any goblin made objects in their eyes should belong to them. If you've paid for an object made by them, it's considered rented, but they don't like the idea of objects being passed from wizard to wizard." She tried to remember any other facts. "Wasn't there a rebellion in like 1612 near Hogsmede?" she asked.

"Possessive is a very good word for them" he nodded, "Clearly, their trust issues are related to the times when wizards thought of them as second-class citizens in the Wizarding World" a thought that was still in the heads of many wizards.
"They're as sly as they're talented with their metal work, and are very intelligent" of course, he'd never had a good relationship with any goblin but he knew that other people he knew was in good terms with them.
He looked at Isabella, "5 points to Ravenclaw, Miss Peters" she'd said more than he'd expected, "True, do you know the reason to that rebellion?" he asked, his face serious.

Bella thought for a moment and then shook her head slightly. "No sir. That's all I could remember reading," she said sounding apologetic. Well there was only so much your brain could hold at 11 at night when you were reading while your best friend was sleeping.

Mel looked up, trying to get Bella out of the heat, she raised her hand waringly "Wasn't it because the wizards entered Gringotts or something?" She asked, not knowing it either.

Lucien shook his head slightly, "I'm afraid it wasn't about that" he said, as his eyes went from Amelina to the rest, "Most of the Goblin's rebellions were merely against prejudice and discrimination, and there were two that were the ones most people remember" he started to say, before explaining.
As he said this, the pictures were only showing disturbances caused by goblins, nothing as bad as the ones seen before, but still, they were vicious, "The one, from 1612, near Hogsmeade, was simply a reunion in one of their headquarters that got out of control, it was around the time that they were fighting for a Goblin's Bill of Rights" he said, Lucien leaned against the wall and continued, "The other one happened in Chipping Clodbury, when the Brotherhood of Goblins met with a few Ministry Representatives" he intended to explain this one further, but decided to ask something, "Who knows who is the leader of the Brotherhood of Goblins?."

Danika shrugged her shoulders. She was now realising how much she'd missed by not reading the book and falling asleep in classes last year. She had no idea. She looked up at Professor Dalton, an apologetic look on her face. She couldn't answer, she didn't know.

Bella thought for a moment, the only name that kept coming into her head was Urg the Unclean. Slowly she raised her hand, "Was Urg the Unclean the leader?" she asked. Why people had to treat magical creatures differently was a question that she had thought about many times, but as long as they were represented, she was a little happier.

ooc: sorry I've been away for so long
Lucien shook his head, "Actually, no, the leader of the organization is Brodrig the Boss-Eyed; and, if I may say so, quite an evil character" he said, and continued explaining further, "But, yes, basically they fought against prejudice, and some of these organizations still exist" he nodded, and eventually the images stopped, "Even if our magic seems stronger, a goblin with a wand could be unstoppable when they manage to perfect the use of it. That was the subject they were discussing when members of the B.O.G. were meeting with Ministry representatives in Chipping Sodbury when a small riot broke out. Some goblins apparently got hold of real wands and were transfiguring post boxes and litter bins into wildebeest and marching through the streets chanting B.O.G. slogans. Clearly, the Ministry took care of it and of all the muggles involved." he said, as he started to walk back to the classroom.
"This is where our chapter ends. Of course, no homework." he smiled, knowing that when he was younger he would've loved that a professor could say that, but there really wasn't anything else the students could look for, as they did discuss it in class, "Class dismissed, unless someone has a question" Lucien said, looking at the students.

Krysta raised her hand "Yeah, sir, I have a question. If Goblins are such wonderful Smiths, why haven't they tried to make their own wands? I mean...I see where the Ministry are coming from, but the Goblins understandably don't agree that they should be kept under control by us humans. I'm surprised they haven't just taken the matter into ther own hands. How have the Ministry managed to keep them under control?" She asked. It was something that she had wondered about for years. Goblins seemed to be a force to be reckoned with and she often wondered how the two races managed to work together so efficiently.

Lucien smiled, no one had ever asked something remotely related, "Very good, but there's no correct answer for it, just an assumption" he started to say, "I believe that, even if they're subservient to the eyes of some wizards, they have established themselves as a vital part of our community, and you must've noticed they do control our economy, basically" as they are the ones running Gringotts and it is a way of lending them some power, "That's probably why the Ministry doesn't really want to get involved in economics, as they feel it will cause a greater revolution on behalf of the goblins" he nodded, there had been a few rumors about the Ministry trying to interfere with the way Gringotts worked, but Lucien didn't think of it as possible, for is the one thing the goblins have some power over us.
He looked at Krysta, "Anything else, Miss Hedwig?" he asked, as he stood waiting.

Krys shook her head thoughtfully. "No Professor. I guess that makes sense. We do rely on them more than we'd like to admit I suppose. And I bet they know it, too." she added with a bemused grin.
