Welcom to the office of Olivia Tudor, Hogwart's resident charms professor. The office is cozy, with books lining the walls (quite a few of them are muggle 'classics') and a few plushy chairs for good measure. Professor Tudor can often be found in her office, working on lesson plans, grading papers, or simply reading one of her numerous books. Feel free to come visit, but please knock first. It's unbearably rude to just barge in...  |

Caitlin knocked on the door. She wanted to saw hello to the charms proffesor. "Hello" She called through the door.

Olivia looked up from her desk, removing her reading glasses and shoving them into a drawer. "Come in," she said, wondering who could be at the door.

Caitlin stepped into the office "Hello.." she started to say but stopped "umm excuse me but areyou part Veela by any chance?" She asked noticeing her proffesor's look. but blushed at her bluntness

Olivia noticed the girl blushing. "Don't be embarrassed," she said, "Yes. My mother was a veela, I'm half. My name is Tudor by the way. Professor Tudor. I don't believe we've met." She held out her hand to the student.

Caitlin smiled "I'm Caitlin I'm pure Veela and I don't believe we have." She said shakeing her hand. "I'm so glad I'm not the only one." She truely was

Olivia smiled back at the student, "I can undrstand that," she said, "I was the only veela at my school for a good few years, and it wasn't easy. If you ever need someone to vent to, let me know."

Caitlin smiled heartily "Thanks it can be a gift with the boys but a curse with the girls."Caitlin said. She considered that to be an absolutly true statement. She was thrilled to have some one like her to talk to.

"I understand," Olivia said knowingly, "Being a veela doesn't help other girls warm up to you... but petty selfish girls are not the types that you want to befriend anyway."

Caitlin smiled "Not at all but even unselfish can get jealous even when you don't charm the boys." She said frowning slightly at her memories. She thought how unfair the girls had treated her

"I've been in that position," Olivia replied, "It usually works itself out in time. Being a veela doesn't mean we go after every man we meet, and eventually people warm up to the fact."

" I know!" Caitlin said shakeing her head "They think we are all concieted and want to take all thier boyfriends. It gets so annoying!" She couldn't stand how people did that!

"I know," Olivia said, remembering the frustration well, "You just have to show them that stealing anyone's boyfriend is the last thing on your mind. I focused on school to prove that, and now I'm a professor at the best school for magic in Europe!" Olivia said with pride.

Caitlin laughed "Well Im great school without trying but I think I might tryout for quidditch!" She said thinking about what she really wanted to do when she grew up and was old enough.
