Professor Sunwood's Office

[stkay]

Feel free to come in, you'll find many unusual objects in the office, just knock before you enter, the Professor is having some problems with her nerves at the moment.

Danika walked up to Professor Sunwood's office and sighed. She was meeting all the teachers. She hoped this would get her the Prefect badge she knew she deserved. She raised her hand and knocked on the door.

Caterina was still arranging some books and was a bit surprised by the knock, "Come in!" she exclaimed, wondering who could it be at such hour.

She gently placed the rest of the books in a chair near the shelf and went back to look at some papers while she waited for the person to come in.

Danika heard Professor Sunwood call out. She turned the nob and pushed the door open softly. She looked up at Professor Sunwood and smiled.
"Hi. I'm Danika Peverell. I just wanted to meet you." she said, her smile widening.

She looked at the girl who walked inside, Caterina smiled, "Well, It's certainly nice to meet you Miss Peverell, if you read the plaque at the door you must already know my name, if not, I'm Caterina Sunwood, the Divination Professor" she said, it did however seem odd to her that the girl just walked by to meet her, there had to be some hidden intention to it.

"But don't be fooled by it, I'm really not like those freaky Divination teachers from the past, I believe you don't have to be gifted to be good at some forms of it" she continued, and sat by her desk, "So, what else brings you around, Miss Peverell", that name seemed extremely familiar to her, but couldn't relate to anyone else.

Danika smiled. "That's good. I never really liked Divination. Maybe now I'll show up to class." she said, smirking.
"To tell you the truth. I've applied for Prefect so I'm trying to get to know all the teachers. So yeah. Just so we don't get off to a bad start. I thought I'd tell the truth."

"Most never truly like it" she said, nodding at Danika, but was a bit surprised by how honest the girl was, honesty was a good quality of a Prefect, and this one obviously knew what she wanted, that's something Caterina admired.

"Well, it's nice to see someone who just gets to the point" Caterina said, thinking to which house this girl could belong to, she wasn't in Ravenclaw, otherwise she would've heard by now, and Peverell sounded more like a Gryffindor or Slytherin, "You belong in Slytherin, right?" she asked, considering how straight forward Danika had been, that's the house she must be in.

Danika smiled. "Of course." she said, smiling. What other house would she be in. "My mum is Slytherin line and my father is direct Peverell, obviously."

Caterina smiled, "Oh, that's very good, I knew your name sounded quite familiar" she said, a bit interested at what Danika said, "Well, you should be proud to belong in one of the most ancient families" she continued, inspite loving her house, Ravenclaw, Caterina was very often seeing with the Slytherins back in her school years, she got along pretty well with them.

"I do have a question, what made you run for Prefect, Miss Peverell?" she asked.

Danika looked surprised at the question then regained her indifferent composure. She smiled. "Well," she started. "For one, my mum was a Prefect at school so I thought it would be a great honour to her memory if became one. And well, power's always fun right." she smirked, hoping Sunwood wouldn't take it the wrong way.

Caterina raised an eyebrow, "Power, huh?" she said, it was indeed an odd answer, but power is something Slytherins usually want, "As long as you use it wisely, I must say, though, that you shouldn't probably say it so freely to other Professors" Caterina thought that maybe Professor Wilson might not think of it as greatly as she did.

She laughed a bit, "Just say the thing about your mother and it'll be alright" she ended, this was a very interesting girl.

Danika smirked. "Of course. I wouldn't abuse it. Just the feeling of it is nice." She replied. She nodded. "Okay then. You just seemed like the sort of Professor that would take it okay." she said, her smirk deepening.

Caterina smiled, "I only take it okay, because I know what's like to have some power over others" she said, thinking about her brother at the moment, "And you were completely honest, that's a good quality" she continued, and looked back at the books on top of the chair.

"If there's nothing else you want to talk to me about, I think you're very much free to go" Caterina nodded, "And praise your Head of House, it might get you closer to Prefect" she winked, looking at Danika.

Danika smiled. "Professor Black doesn't like me very much. I'm too much trouble. And yes, that is all. Thank you for your time Professor Sunwood. It was great to meet you." she said, smiling. She waved then walked out of the office, her Slytherin robes and her waistlength purple hair billowing behind her.

Kelly passed by a girl when on her way to Divination classroom. She had many thoughts running through her head , so she took herself the freedom to be rude and not say hello . When she reached the classroom , she stopped and stood outside the office for 5 minutes . She cleared her mind and knocked on the door .
