Kildara looked up from her papers and looked at the door.
"Come in," she called. When she saw Serena she smiled.
"Serena my dear, how can I help you?"

Serena sat down on the other side of the desk and looked through the papers, "we have Max Randolf, Estelle Smith and Alexander Ashstone" she put the papers down, "now its a girl prefect and a boy prefect that we need right?"

Kildara smiled. "Mr Randolf is a good candidate. He's got good grades, quite a few friends. Miss Smith. I think she'd be good to think of for Head Girl. She's a Seventh Year, and she's a good girl. Follows rules. Mr Ashstone is a good student. Generally keeps in the rules." she sighed ticking them all off in her head. Danika would kill her if she gave Estelle Head Girl, but Danika had lost her application. Not her problem. "Yes, one girl and one boy. But if Miss Smith gets Head Girl, then both boys would be eligible" she sighed. If only Danika hadn't been stupid. Then they wouldn't have any problem.

"so.." she sighed, "Estelle will be head girl?" she thought outloud that would not go down well with a certain slytherin girl. "then both the boys will become prefects sounds about right..." her voice trailed off.

Kildara smiled and nodded. "And yes, I know it will not sit well with Miss Peverell. But she knew Miss Smith was going for Head Girl. So, Estelle will be Head Girl and Max and Alexander will be Slytherin Prefects. Well, that was easy." she sighed.

Serena stormed up to the headmistresses office, "Kildara" she called and walked through the open doors, "a girl, Caitlin has been attacked" she put her hands on the table, "by a student who had transformed in to a wolf!"

Kildara's eyes widened in fear. "Caitlin? Wolf?" the only student she knew that could turn into a wolf was Kelly Black. Oh dear.
"Take me to them," she said, throwing her cloak over her shoulders and rushing out the door.

Kildara ambled back into her office and sighed. What was going on? The rivalries between students are worse now than when she was at school. Now houses don't matter. Kelly and Estelle were almost like sisters, a Gryffindor and a Slytherin. She now had a Slytherin Head Girl, the only one since herself. Danika and Caitlin were still fighting. Kelly attacks people. The boys are running around like headless geese. Affairs and infidelities going on left and right. People having sex in the Common Room. What was going on? She sighed and collapsed into her chair behind her desk, a hand on her aching stomach. She really should have seen Liliy-Anne about it when she up there.

Danika ran up to the Headmistress' Office, not even bothering to knock.
"Kildara! Andrew fell off his broom and fell really far and now he's in the hospital wing. Profesoor Lockwood told me to come tell you," she said really fast.
Kildara looked up as Danika entered the room without knocking.
"Danika!" she said. She was about to tell the girl off until she saw she was rather distressed.
"Andrew McDougall? Fell? Oh my. Let's go," she said, pushing Danika out of the door and they both ran down to the hospital wing.
