Professor Snape's Office

"Yes, yes." she smiled again, "thank you Kildara." she turned and walked out of the door. I think its time to have a fly she thought to herself and left the office.

Kildara smiled and watched Serena walk out of the office. She shook her head and got out a piece of parchment out of a drawer in her desk. This was ridiculous. Why had Serena been sent a note and not her? Very odd. She opened the inkpot and dipped her quill in it. She put the quilltip to the parcment and started writing.

Dear Minister Manly,

I was just wondering why one of my staff was sent a note with her lesson plans attached for her Defence Against the Dark Arts class. In the plans, it was noted that Seventh Years would not be learning more than Disarming Charms, and the other years nothing at all. Theory does not give a student sound knowledge on a subject and practical is essential. It also part of the examinations. How do you expect that our students will pass their NEWTs or OWLs with theory? As the Headmistress at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I implore you to see reason. Why take out a curiculum that has worked for centuries and replace it with nothing?

She looked at her letter and put it in an envelope. She addressed it to the Minister of Magic and whistled. A magestic Snowy Owl swooped from the rafters and landed on the desk.
"Take this to the Ministry, please Artemius. It needs to go to the Minister." she said, before taking her owl to the window and letting her go. She walked back to her desk and sighed.
"Stupid Ministry," she muttered.

Kildara opened the door to her office and stood back to let Alex in after her. She closed the door and sighed. She motioned to a chair in front her desk and then she sat down in hers.
"Alex, do you know what Danika and Caitlin said?" she asked, trying to be calm.

Alex took a seat in the chair Kildara had shown him, "something about wishing she didn't breath but thats all i heard." he said trutfully.

Kildara laughed. "Did you hear anything Miss Smith said about them?" she asked, shaking her head. Those girls needed to curb their tempers.

"I don't think she did say anything back." he paused and thought, "no, no when I walked in she couldn't even string two words together let alone fight back."

Kildara smiled. "Just as long as neither of them whipped their wands out. Slytherin can't lose anymore points. You're already in negatives. I wish I had a reason to give you points. Even out the board again. I'm surprised Serena, I mean Professor Black wasn't down there. She always seems to be there to get Danika in trouble. That girl needs to watch it. She's one step away from being expelled. Can you keep an eye on her for me?" she asked, solemnly. She hated to ask people to watch over Danika. She thought she was a big girl. But Danika couldn't be expelled from school. And Kildara couldn't keep her here if she did anything wrong.

"Of course professor." he grinned again. "I'll try to make sure she doesn't get in too much trouble." He looked at her again, "If you don't mind me asking what has she done thats gotten her so close to expollsion?"

Kildara smiled. "It's okay. I'm not supposed to but I'll tell you. From her first year, she's not been the best kid on the block, I suppose it goes with having parents like hers and a mentor like me. She's been working on evasive tactics, and has suceeded in that respect. She doesn't get caught in the act anymore. It's her temper that gets her in the most trouble. And she tends to mouth off at people, often. And, don't go blabbing this about, she go caught with one of her teachers in last year. No, I'm not going to tell you who. But that is a reason he isn't teaching this year. McGonagall fired him. Does that answer your question?" she asked. She felt bad telling him but He needed to know what he was in for. "Danika seems to have a way with the male species, sorry to speak about you like that, but it's true. She is even better at it than Caitlin, and she's a Veela." she chuckled.

"Ok" he said after she finished talking, that was alot of information. She and Caitlin were good with men, well Caitlin was a veela but he didn't think of Danika like that, they wwere friends from the start. "Anything else I need to know?"

Kildara smiled. "No, I don't think so. That's about it. There is a lot about Danika that I don't even know." she laughed.

Alex laughed back, "Theres one thing I need to ask, does it always itch?" he was rubbing the mark againbut there was no need to tell her what he meant she probaly knew.

Kildara laughed. "It should prickle. That's just the nature of it. And I stuck my finger inside your arm. That's why it would be itching. It's healing. When Tom, I mean, the Dark Lord, did it, he used a wand, it wasn't so bad. Also didn't hurt as much. But, as I don't have a wand anymore, I have to do it like that. That could be why it itches. I'm sorry." she said, looking at him, a apologetic smile on her face.

Alex smiled, "its ok, I'll just used to it." he pulled his sleeve down abit more and said "I think wandless magic is pretty cool." The mark would always be there and mabye always itching but he really didn't mind.

Kildara smiled. "Yes, well it is quite convenient. Especially when you don't have a wand," she said, shrugging her shoulders.
